Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 98: Marvel 98

"Hey, isn't that my building?" Tony exclaimed, standing up abruptly.

"Yes, it seems they're using your building to power up that thing," Max said with a nod, pointing to the screen.

Tony's eyes widened. "The Arc Reactor," he muttered, realization dawning on him.

Fury turned to Tony. "How bad is it?"

"Bad enough to open a wormhole to God-knows-where," Tony replied tersely.

"Let's go and stop him," Captain America said, standing up with determination.

The others nodded in agreement, quickly preparing to head out.

As the team moved swiftly to the aircraft, Fury barked out orders to coordinate their efforts. "We'll need eyes on the ground and in the air. Stark, you handle the reactor. Cap, take point with the ground team to contain the chaos."

"Got it," Steve said, adjusting his shield as he led the way.

"Natasha, Clint, you're on overwatch. Keep Loki pinned down if you can," Fury added.

"Understood," Natasha replied, loading her pistols.

"Banner," Fury said, glancing at Bruce. "Get ready to, well... you know."

Bruce nodded but looked uncertain. "I'll try to keep it under control until it's absolutely necessary."

Fury turned to Max, his expression stern. "And you?"

Max smirked, his form flickering with tendrils of mist. "I'll make sure Loki knows what happens when you mess with Earth."

As the team reached the aircraft, Max turned to Tony. "You sure you're up for this, Stark? Your tower's the battlefield."

"Please," Tony said, suiting up. "If anyone's gonna wreck my building, it'll be me."

The Quinjet roared to life, carrying the team toward Stark Tower. Below them, the city was already descending into chaos. Civilians ran for cover as Loki's army began pouring through the portal. The alien invaders spread rapidly, their Chitauri ships raining destruction across the skyline.

From the air, the sight was both awe-inspiring and terrifying. "Alright, team," Steve said, his voice steady. "We've got a lot of work to do. Let's show them Earth isn't as helpless as it seems."

As they approached the tower, Max vanished into mist, dispersing into the city below. His voice echoed faintly in their comms. "I'll thin the herd. Try to keep up."

"Show-off," Clint muttered, notching an arrow.

The Quinjet hovered above Stark Tower, and Tony shot out in his suit, heading straight for the Arc Reactor. The rest of the team followed, each preparing for the fight of their lives.

Suddenly, Hawkeye spotted something unusual below. "Hey, guys! I'm seeing something else here," he said, turning back to inform the others. Everyone looked out of the window and saw a group of powerful individuals fighting the Chitauri with incredible skill.

Max, noticing their focus, doubled back to the Quinjet and warned them. "Those kids out there are under my protection. Don't you dare drag them into your SHIELD mess," he said firmly before turning to leave.

Natasha nodded silently, understanding the weight of his words. Watching the battle below, she muttered, "They're powerful."

Flash, wearing a reddish-orange suit, blurred through the battlefield, his punches landing with devastating force. MJ, surrounded by crimson mist, gracefully evaded enemies while striking them down with eerie precision, exuding a quiet, deadly confidence.

Gwen stood out in her elegant white-and-gold spider suit, fighting with the ferocity of a warrior goddess. She summoned glowing golden weapons, each strike delivering divine precision and power, leaving enemies shattered.

Harry wielded his green energy, striking with natural skill and ruthless efficiency. Lumia, cloaked in an elegant black robe that shrouded her face, commanded an army of skeletons and her fearsome Death Guardian. Her presence was ominous, her undead forces overwhelming enemies without mercy.

Rize was the most terrifying of them all, moving with unmatched speed and efficiency. Her attacks turned the Chitauri into little more than a bloody blur, leaving destruction in her wake.

"Are we even needed here?" Hawkeye asked, watching the sheer efficiency of the group below.

"Who are they?" Captain America asked, his voice tinged with curiosity.

Natasha pointed to Lumia. "The one in the black robe is Max's little sister. Like him, she's a mage, but her magic is… death magic." She then gestured to Rize. "That's Rize. She's a Vampire Lord, similar to Phil. That's all we know about her."

"And the others?" Clint asked, nodding toward the masked figures.

"They call themselves the Ultimate Spidey Squad. Each of them has super-spider abilities, but we don't know their true identities. We've tried to find out, but every time we set up surveillance, they somehow knew and destroyed our cameras. What we do know is they're on our side," Natasha explained.

"Then why haven't we brought them into SHIELD?" Steve asked.

Natasha sighed. "Because they avoid us at every turn. Now that Max has said they're under his protection, it makes sense. He likely didn't want them dragged into SHIELD's mess. Maybe they're kids or people he's trying to protect."

Steve nodded grimly. "With SHIELD in the state it's in, it's probably for the best they stay away."

Natasha said nothing knowing Fury is listening on their conversation and he probably isn't liking it. And she is right, Fury, who was observing the battle with an intense gaze. He looked far from pleased but seemed to accept the situation.

"Anyway, let's help them," Captain America said, stepping out of the Quinjet, his shield ready.

Bruce Banner, still seated, glanced at the chaos below. "I think I'll just wait. Clearly, they've got this handled. But take me to the Tesseract. Maybe I can help with that."

Steve turned back to Bruce. "You sure? We might need the 'other guy' out there."

Bruce smirked faintly. "Trust me, Cap, if the big guy's needed, you'll know. But for now, those kids look like they have things under control."

Steve nodded reluctantly. "Alright. Stay close, just in case." He then turned to Natasha and Clint. "Let's move out and back them up!"

The three of them leapt into the action, joining the fray, though it was clear the Ultimate Spidey Squad didn't seem to need much help.
