Marvel: Stark Tower Dungeon

The interrogation had begun.

Meili lips were very tight but Ophis and Great Red had a way to know why she did what she did.

All he had to do was just read her memory directly.

There might be something good around it and the mana stone that Roswaal used to make barriers was one of them.

Arthur after he finished reading her memories. He killed her without any mercy because of wicked things she had been doing until now.

"How is the situation? Is everything okay?"

Emilia approached Arthur and asked him after she saw him return to his house.

Rem was there too and she wasn't worried about what would happen to him. 

To her, he was a higher being, and there was no way any beast could hurt him.

"The situation is back to normal. I have dealt with the beasts. The villagers and children are safe. Don't worry."

Emilia sighed in relief before she tried to check his body to see if he was injured. 

Arthur laughed inwardly. She treated him like Subaru and it made him feel good that someone as lovely as her cared about him like this.

Rem puffed out her cheeks before coming to check on him as well. 

She was starting to get jealous of anyone who stole his attention from her.

Arthur didn't know how to handle the situation, and just as he was about to tell them to stop touching him without permission, he heard Ophis's voice.

「Art, it seems that the thick-faced clown is back. He's heading here.」said Ophis, she didn't like him as much as Arthur.

Arthur nodded. It seemed that the plot where Emilia had to go to the capital had arrived. 

The timeline of the arcs in this dungeon world was quite different from the novel.

Normally, it would take months or years to reach this third arc, but this time it was only a few days.

Roswaal arrived at Arthur's house and immediately approached him. 

And when he entered the house, he saw Emilia and Rem was groping Arthur, he gave a sly smile before speaking.

"Ara~ It seems like I came at the wrong time~ I'll just pretend I didn't see anything~"

Arthur really wanted to punch him in the face, but he was still necessary for his plan. 

Without him, he might not have been able to complete the mission he got from the dungeon system.

"Let's leave the jokes for later. Is there anything I can help you with? If it's about those beasts, I've already taken care of them."

Hearing that, Roswaal nodded before speaking to him directly.

"I have something I need your help with~ Can you go to the capital with Emilia as her knight~ She needs someone to look after her and protect her. You are the best fit for this moment~"

When Emilia heard Roswaal say that, she immediately understood that it was the Royal Selection event.

She looked at Arthur. It would be great if he went with her.

Arthur really feels guilty towards Subaru now.

He agreed.

"Lord Roswaal, can Rem go to the capital too? Rem wants to serve Lord Arthur."

He didn't see any harm in it, so he nodded before telling her that she could go with them.

Ram should be enough to take care of his mansion.

"The journey may take a long time. I suggest everyone leave tomorrow. I will go ahead first~"

But before he went to the capital, he had repaired a broken barrier.

Arthur looked at Rem.

She hoped he would order her.

"Rem, can you help me prepare everything for the trip?"

Rem nodded eagerly before she immediately went to prepare everything for Arthur.

Emilia was still surprised that Arthur had actually agreed to be her personal knight. 

It would be the time for her to leave before she could go back to normal.

Inside Arthur's house, Emilia and Rem went their own separate ways to take care of their own business. 

"We will be back before nightfall. Rem has prepared food for Master. Rem will take her leave first."

"I will hurry up and finish my business and come to keep you company."

They had to prepare to go to the capital tomorrow.

Arthur nodded and told them not to rush. They both shook their heads and said that spending time with Arthur was important.

Rem and Emilia looked at each other before looking away. 

It seemed like they were both thinking about something, and it turned out to be the same thing.

The two left the house, leaving only Arthur alone. Now that he had some free time, he was thinking about something.

His memory improved a lot after his Int increased.

He recalled the memories of himself watching and reading Re:Zero anime and light novels.

Re Zero Arc 3, also known as Return to the Capital or The Truth of Zero.

It covered the beginning of the Royal Selection and the subsequent attack by the Witch Cult.

Subaru convinced Emilia to take him back to the capital, amidst an important meeting on the candidates to royalty.

Subaru caused a scene in front of the other candidates and high-ranking members of the kingdom, prompting Emilia to leave him behind to be healed and away from her.

Subaru returned to the mansion to find the entire village and people in the mansion killed by cultists, triggering a new loop.

He was traumatized by the events very much. 

Hopefully he wouldn't have to face something like this when Arthur had chased him away from here.

Arthur made notes of the most important information he could think of in his head. 

If he wanted to complete the mission, he would have to return to the village and deal with Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti.

"If I go back to the village too late, everyone will die, which is not good for my consent."

Arthur would have to come up with a reason to part with Emilia and return to the village, which wasn't difficult since Emilia would believe everything he said.

It was because when she was just a dragon king, she was bored and had nothing to do, so she turned to collecting magic instead.

Great Red then taught this spell to Arthur, and when he learned it, he was astonished.

"Wow, isn't this spell really amazing? Not only does it help me detect enemies approaching my territory, it also improves my psychic abilities."

Arthur tried to use his psychic sense to check around his house. 

He found that his psychic sense covered the entire village.

"This is awesome. It's not perfect, but it's a different story when combined with technology."

Arthur could use this strong psychic power along with drone scanning technology, so nothing can pass his detection within two kilometers.

「Hmm, this magic is useful, but it's still no match for my power. Try using my power with your magic, and you'll see that my power is much more important than his.」

Arthur smelled jealousy but he did as Ophis told him and it worked better than expected. 

Two kilometers became four and it might have been more if his head hadn't exploded first.

Too much is not always good.

"That's it, I am ready to go to the capital. I hope everything ends well."

Arthur tried not to plant his own death flag, but he couldn't. His mind was always playing tricks on him.

He shook his head and looked at his watch. 

He found that there was still a lot of time left. 

Why didn't he go for a walk in the village and put a lot of Dragon Radar spells on it?

He went out of his house and started his plan.

The next morning, it was time for Arthur, Emilia, and Rem to travel to the capital.

Last night, the two of them came back quite late. The reason they came back late was because they had prepared many things for him.

The journey from the Roswaal's territory to the capital took quite some time, so Rem prepared food for everyone and Emilie prepared medicines and books to read to relieve boredom.

Arthur was glad to have both of them as his companions. 

And because he was strong, there was no need for guards to accompany him. Just a coachman would suffice.

「Is this an Earth Dragon? It's so unworthy of its name. Its level is so low that I feel ashamed. Can we call it an Earth Lizard instead?」said Great Red.

「Stop talking so loudly Baka Red. This isn't our world, so it's not strange for a weak dragon like this to exist. But calling it an Earth Lizard isn't bad either.」replied Ophis cutely.

The dragon gods when they saw the Earth Dragon. They couldn't help but be mean to the poor guy.

The Earth Dragon felt wronged but it couldn't do anything.

Arthur shook his head and did not reply to the two Heavenly Dragons. 

The Earth Dragon bowed to him respectfully. Both Emilia and Rem were not surprised at all.

It was because both of them knew that he was the descendant of a powerful dragon.

"Don't listen to them. They are just grumpy dragon gods."

Arthur patted the Earth Dragon's head to console it before telling Emilia and Rem to get on the carriage. 

He would sit beside the driver.

"Eh, Arthur, aren't you going to come sit in the carriage with us?"

"....."

Emilia was shocked. She had prepared books and snacks for Arthur.

Rem herself also wanted him to come sit inside with her, but because she was just a servant, she couldn't ask for something very selfish like that.

Arthur, seeing Emilia and Rem like that, couldn't help but smile and then he pat Rem's head. 

Emilia, when she saw that Rem got his attention. She couldn't help but feel weird inside her heart.

She didn't know what it was.

"I will sit in the carriage with you two."

Rem was glad that he chose to sit in the carriage, and even got his head patted. It made her very happy.

"Thank you, Arthur-sama."

Arthur saw that Rem turned back to normal, and looked at Emilia. She was sending him a very fake smile. 

She must have been feeling jealous, but she didn't understand her own feelings.

"You don't have to be jealous of Emilia. Come here. I am going to pat your head as well."

"Jealous?"

Emilie was confused because she had never felt jealous before.

Arthur called out to Emilia and she walked towards him with a cheerful expression. 

Her gloomy feelings disappeared, which could be her jealousy. 

He patted her head, and it made her very happy.

"Now that we are all good. Let's go to the capital shall we."

"Yes!"

The three then got into the carriage and headed towards the capital.

Arthur hoped that nothing would go wrong on this trip.

"So this thing is real huh, Like those novels that he likes to read so much." said Tony. 

He actually tried to read it weeks ago to see what it was like for Arthur to like reading them so much.

It was a good read but to think he would encounter something like that.

"Well, it is what it is, let's continue to work."

He was in the middle of a desert right now. 

Luckily, there was an oasis, so he could find a suitable source of resources to establish his base here.

"At least it's not as bad as having to set up a base on the moon. It's a piece of cake here."

Tony started building his base from scratch.
