Marvel: Stark Tower Dungeon

Emilia brought Authur and Subaru toward Roswaal mansion.

Along the way she observed their reaction if they were prejudiced against her, the half elf or not.

However, the two of them didn't show any sign of discomfort or discontent toward her and that made Emilia very happy.

She introduced herself formally to the two and she finally could let her guard down even when they heard about her look.

She was spitting images of Stella, the witch of envy that almost destroyed the world four hundred years ago.

When they heard about that. They just didn't seem to care about it and said that she wasn't the witch why did they have to care about it.

That was unreasonable.

"We are here. This is the mansion I live in currently." said Emilia with a smile. 

Finally she had someone who saw her for who she was not the witch of envy.

'So this is Roswaal's mansion. It is really big and not quite the same as I had seen in Anime or Manga.'  thought to himself. 

It was different from Anime or Manga.

It was so much grander than that.

Authur thought about Roswaal. He remembered that. In the light novel he had read. 

Roswaal helped Emilia to become the king because he wanted to kill Volcanica, the divine dragon in order to obtain his blood.

Only the blood of the divine dragon could bring Echidna, his beloved teacher back to life.

He was obsessed with Echidna to the point that he could burn the whole world for her if needed.

'What a crazy man. I have to do something about him after I finish Romanee Conti off.'

Arthur was confident in dealing with the sloth. However, he didn't know what would happen after the mission.

So killing him was the best option he could think of.

'How could I think of killing someone as easy as this…'

Something must have gone wrong with him but he thought it might be a good thing if he could kill without suffering the backlash.

Emilia brought them inside the mansion and when Arthur stepped inside.

He could feel a surge of very powerful killing intent aiming at Subaru.

He knew whose powerful killing intent belonged to.

It must be Rem or Ram, the twin oni.

"Welcome back Emilia-sama, Puck-sama."

A pink haired maid came to welcome Emilia and Puck. It was Ram, the older sister.

"And who might these two distinguished guests be?" said Ram looked at Arthur curiously while giving a cold stare at Subaru.

Subaru already knew that something was wrong with him after the transmigration. 

Arthur had told him about it and he couldn't help accepting it like a champ.

He didn't even ask how Arthur knew about it as it really didn't matter to him.

"When I die I will go back in time. If that happens I will just tell you what happened to me so you can save my ass." said Subaru accepted that he was weak and had to rely on him. 

Arthur promised him that he would not let him die if possible.

"Say it like that means that you will let me die if you don't have any other choice right? I can accept that but please don't let me die too much!" asked Subaru knew that he might die here because Arthur told him to be careful.

He would not do anything and just went with the flow here.

Ram looked at Arthur curiously but she didn't show any sign of noticing something wrong with him.

Arthur smiled and thought.

'It seems like she can't smell dragons.'

He felt relieved knowing that only Puck could tell that he possessed the power of dragons.

Emilia introduced Arthur and Subaru to Ram. And then Ram to Arthur and Subaru.

"Please prepare two guest rooms for them, Ram-san."

"Yes, Emilia-sama. Please leave everything to me."

Ram then asked Arthur and Subaru to come with her. As for Emilia. Ram told her that Roswaal had assigned some works for her.

She must finish them before he comes back.

Arthur and Subaru followed Ram closely and at that moment Arthur suddenly shifted his body and parried a big morningstar from crushing Subaru's skull.

The morningstar would rip his hand if it wasn't for his mana.

'She is super strong, but my mana is ridiculously stronger.'

"That was close."

"What…"

Subaru couldn't catch what just happened. He looked at Arthur who had kicked Ram away.

Ram also wanted to kill Subaru. If he didn't intercept her in time. Subaru's head might already be parted from his body.

"This isn't like what I know." thought Arthur, expected a butterfly effect but he didn't think it would come this fast.

"Please move away. That man is dangerous. He must be a member of the witch cult." asked Rem, who appeared and checked on her big sister. 

And when she saw that Arthur didn't mean to harm Ram and just push her away with his foot instead of kicking her for real.

Rem knew that if he wanted to kill her big sister. He could kill her easily.

Ram, unlike Rem whose body was strong. Her body was very weak and fragile.

Arthur was curious so he checked their status to see how strong they were compared to him.

Even though their level was higher than him, he was overall stronger. And his mana was special as well.

But If they had to fight to death for real there was a high chance that Arthur might lose his life because of lacking experience.

However, it was another thing altogether if he used sacred gears.

If he used them. Even with the two of them ganging up on him. They would be killed instantly by the sword of infinity and chaos or the sword of dreams and apocalypse.

He could handle the sword of infinity and chaos a little but he could not use the sword of dreams and apocalypse at all because if he used it. The whole area he was in would be annihilated, including himself.

He would only use them when he was in absolute danger only.

"I think you two misunderstand something. It isn't a blessing from the witch but a curse."

Arthur said that but he knew they wouldn't listen to him.

And when they wanted to attack him together again.

Everything around him stopped.

Arthur was surprised and then he heard a very cute loli voice and a very sexy onee-san voice.

「Where is this place?」said Ophis cutely. She must have tried to look around herself right now.

「Is that you Ophis?」said Great Red.

「Baka red?」said Ophis in surprise.

Two dragon gods suddenly woke up at the same time. 

They didn't somber much, however, when they heard each other's voices. 

They became somber immediately!

How could they be with the same host? They seemed to know why they had been sealed but they didn't think they would have the same host like this.

Arthur felt a lot of mana flowing inside of him after they were awakened.

「We have the same host… But I hate Baka Red」said Ophis, trying to attack Great Red but nothing happened.

「Why Ophis? Why do you hate this onee-chan so much?」said Great Red teasingly, she knew that Ophis couldn't do anything to her.

「You are loud…」groaned Ophis, stopped trying to kill Great Red with her cuteness.

「I can't deny that but we will never be separated again huhu」smirked Great Red.

「Kick her out please…Host?」begged Ophis, she thought she would get her silent back but to think that they would be stuck with each other like this.

It dreaded her to no end.

Hearing her begging, Arthur didn't know what to say. Even if he wanted to chase the Great Red out.

He didn't know how to and if he could. He would be killed by her. He was sure of it.

'Well, let's introduce first then.'

It was the best thing he could think of right now.

"My name is Arthur, You can call me Art and I can't do that."

「But she is very loud, I can't sleep…」yawned Ophis, she must feel very sleepy now.

However, Great Red was the dragon god of dreams and apocalypse. She would never let her sleep in peace.

「You are always sleepy Ophis, I can't do my thing outside the dimensional gap and you know that.」it was true. If she tried to do her shenanigans outside.

The whole reality would be destroyed.

「But I want to sleep…」

Ophis cried so pitifully. Arthur wanted to help her and because of that. Ophis gained her silence back.

「Eh?」surprised Ophis.

「I can't hear you or perceive you anymore. Are you still there Ophis-chan?」asked Great Red.

"She is still there but somehow I can separate both of you."

「Really? That's good to hear. We can do our own things this way. Oh and I think you should stop using your unique skill. Otherwise, you might die because of it.」advised Great Red.

Arthur was confused. He hadn't used any power at all. He didn't even know that he had a unique skill.

「It seems you didn't know about your own power. Let me help you this time then.」

Great Red had done something and the time resumed again.

Arthur felt a little headache but everything was alright now.

"What…"

Rem and Ram were now panicking. They could feel that Arthur had become a lot stronger than before. 

At first, they couldn't smell anything from him, but now they could smell a great scent from Arthur. 

It was a pure and powerful scent. Neither of them had ever smelled anything like this before, but they could tell that it was the polar opposite of a witch's scent.

"Now, can you two stop?"

Rem and Ram felt as if something was staring at them. 

Arthur's eyes shone with purple and crimson light. His eyes were like those of a reptile.

And the first thing Rem and Ram thought of when they saw those eyes of his was

"Dragon."

Arthur smiled at both of them. His smile confirmed that what they had said was true.

Ram and Rem were weak in the knees and collapsed to the ground. 

For the Oni tribe like them, dragons were considered sacred and should not be tarnished.

However, they have done something extremely offensive toward him.

"W-We didn't know you were a dragon."

"We did something we shouldn't have done. Please forgive us."

Arthur looked at Rem and Ram before nodding.

"I forgive you two, but from now on, don't do anything like that again. He's a victim, not a perpetrator."

Rem and Ram nodded before saying that they understood. 

If Subaru was under the protection of the dragon, then he wasn't the evil one and might actually be the victim like he said.

"Now, lead us to the rooms where we would be staying."

"Yes."

After that, the two Oni stopped their hate against Subaru. 

Subaru's first calamity was gone. Now, he had to prepare for what was to happen next.

"You know about my future from your power. And because I will die again and again I should just stay where I am and try not to be involved with anything?"

Arthur couldn't say that he was just a fictional character in a light novel or anime. 

Because it might cause him to have an existential crisis.

'I don't even know if I am a fictional character as well or not. But if I were to think of what happened to me. I must be a fictional character that someone created in his fanfic… Shit, am I just breaking the fourth wall?'

Arthur shook his head and not thinking about it anymore lest it might make him go crazy.

Subaru listened to what Arthur said. 

He showed interest in his power and then stopped thinking about it because it didn't matter to him.

All he needed to do was listen to him and he would survive.

"I will not do anything. I know myself well. If you hadn't helped me from the thieves back then. I might already be dead. Even though I can go back in time doesn't mean it was okay for me to die."

The witch of envy's curse didn't act up when Subaru talked about going back in time when he died to Arthur.

That must be because Arthur was an abnormality of this world and the curse couldn't detect him.

"That's right, so If you don't want to die in vain don't be involved with anything."

"Of course, No one wants to die no matter the cause."

Subaru swore to himself that he would try everything in his power to not be nosy about anything.

Arthur would try to find a way to send him back to where he came from. And that was to dispel the curse of the witch of envy that took hold on him.

「You can dispel the curse by using my power but you too weak for now」

Great Red said with pride. She could make the curse into a dream and make it stop.

「No, don't use Baka Red power. Use mine instead」said Ophis.

She felt sleepy but wanted to know what had happened first. They were connected once again.

Ophis said that all she had to do was erase the curse by using black hole.

'Isn't it too much.' thought Arthur sweated profusely.

He was not strong enough to use both of their powers but at least he knew that there was a way to send him back home.

Arthur finished talking with Subaru.

Ram appeared and told them that the lord of the mansion wanted to meet with them.

"Please follow me dear guest." said Ram respectfully.

Ram led both Subaru and Arthur toward the dining room.

In the dining room, he saw Roswaal was talking with Emilia while Rem was standing nearby in order to serve everyone.

Rem was really working hard for the recognition.

He didn't know how to make her open her heart to him but he just let it flow.

He couldn't force anything even though he knew the plot.

"Please~ sit and join us~"

'So annoying…'

Arthur heard his singing tone and couldn't help but feel annoyed. He hated his character very much.

Arthur then went and sat near Roswaal while Subaru sat next to him.

He could tell that Roswaal was looking at him with great interest.

'Ram must have told him about me having the scent of a dragon…'

Arthur couldn't blame her that she informed Roswaal about his scent. 

To her, Roswaal was a savior.

She trusted him with her life so she didn't think he would do something bad to the guests that had helped Emilia.

During the meal, Roswaal spoke with him casually to try to dig some information from him.

Emilia chimed in from time to time.

Roswaal was surprised when he heard where they came from.

"You two have come from the land named Japan and America that are behind the great waterfall~"

No one knew if there was land behind the waterfall or not so he couldn't confirm anything.

But just the way he looked at him. Arthur believed that he believed what he had said.

He mixed truth and lies together even someone like Roswaal could not differentiate it easily.

And because Ram had told him that he might have the bloodline of the dragon inside him.

It all made sense to him if he were to come from behind the great waterfall.

They finished their food then it was time for Roswaal to ask them about what reward they wanted from him.

"Thank you so much for helping Emilia in the time of need. As the lord and her guardian I have a duty to reward you, Sir Authur Leywin Stark~ I wish to give you the title of the minor lord and a village nearby called Arlam Village~"

This wasn't like in the canon. He didn't ask him what he wanted but forcefully gave him the title of the minor lord and the Arlam Village.

Arthur didn't refuse. Even though it wasn't like in the canon. 

However, it was far better than becoming a servant like in the canon.
