Marvel: Restart! Spiderman!

Chapter 94: Ch.94 Surrounded to Kill Venom Parker

Five minutes later.

On a rooftop under the night sky, Tuxedo Loki looked at the Green Goblin, who was tied up with the thick rope-like webbing, and pondered.

"What's wrong?" Charlie asked.

Tuxedo Loki said, "I can't hypnotize him through the armor, it's my experience."

He still remembered the embarrassing moment of failing to hypnotize Iron Man.

"Oh, I remember, Stark mocked you for that," Old Man Steve chuckled and then personally removed Norman's helmet.

"What are you bastards trying to do to me? Stop it!!"

As Norman wailed, Loki gently tapped his forehead with the Mind Stone scepter.

Buzz~

A ripple of light spread out, and Norman's pupils instantly turned blue.

Seeing Norman standing dazed, Old Man Steve looked at Charlie.

"Can it really work?"

Charlie shrugged, "We'll see. There are a lot of participants this time, and we need manpower. With just a few of us, it's hard to deal with that guy."

Hypnotizing other participants with the Mind Stone to add them to his team was something Charlie had thought about before.

However, because of running into Dark Stephen and the cunning tricks of this world's Loki, he had already wasted two restarts.

After some time, Norman finally showed a reaction.

"Kid, wasn't I already dead?"

With a dazed look, Norman quickly regained his memories. He stood up, glanced at Loki and Steve, and then turned his gaze back to Charlie.

"It was you who saved me, kid."

Tears welled up in Norman's eyes as he stepped forward to hug Charlie.

This left Charlie speechless.

"Is this your hypnosis effect? Why is it different from when you hypnotized Barton?" he asked Tuxedo Loki.

Loki was equally confused.

"Something's wrong. Normally, after being hypnotized by me, they wouldn't have any emotions unless I used another type of hypnosis magic," he said, puzzled.

"What hypnosis?"

Hearing this, Norman released Charlie and rubbed his temples.

"I feel much clearer now. The thing inside me has finally quieted down," he said, looking delighted. "I can go back to see Harry."

"No, you can't go back just yet."

Charlie guessed that Loki had only hypnotized Norman's second personality, which allowed Norman to regain temporary clarity.

"Is there a way to make his second personality disappear completely?" he asked Loki again.

Tuxedo Loki frowned. "In essence, both personalities are still him. The only options are treatment or sealing, but completely erasing the second personality is impossible."

"Then forget it," Charlie gave up on that idea.

Treatment takes time, and sealing has many uncertainties.

It could easily reset once the resurrection tournament ended, and the next time they met, Norman would still be the evil Green Goblin.

Unless a specialized treatment serum could be developed for a permanent solution.

But even that might get reset.

Maybe it could be tried again in the future.

For now, Norman would serve as a henchman.

Without further explanation, Charlie asked Loki to hypnotize Norman again.

Soon, the four of them acted together, finding Professor Curt Connors based on Charlie's information and hypnotizing him the same way.

The four-man team became a five-man team.

"Little spider, your superpower is getting more and more absurd," Old Man Steve remarked.

Tuxedo Loki was also somewhat convinced. "I've only seen this kind of magic from my mother…"

Halfway through, he turned sullen again.

Charlie did not bother explaining. The participants wouldn't stay in one location forever, so Charlie had to remember not only where they had appeared but also the timing of each appearance.

Luckily, the information matched.

By his calculations, Tony and Electro should have finished their fight by now and might be on their way to their duel.

Electro would leave the city to find a power plant, but he was too fast to easily catch, which made it hard to hypnotize him.

And both Hydra Captain America and Bucky were well aware of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intelligence system, so as long as Charlie didn't appear, they wouldn't show up on camera.

Charlie had no intention of revealing himself yet because he was about to miss the last appearance of Venom Parker.

He needed to deal with Venom Parker first; that guy was the second biggest threat after Dark Stephen.

"We're here."

Soon, the five-man team arrived at the amusement park.

The amusement park was silent at night, with only occasional breezes carrying an eerie scent.

"That's the smell of blood," Old Man Steve confirmed.

"I see him, it's the Black Spider-Man," Tuxedo Loki pointed towards the Ferris wheel, his expression tensing.

"He's a brutal one."

On top of the cabin at the highest point of the Ferris wheel, Venom Parker was gnawing on a body, with shattered remains hanging upside down from the iron framework. Blood trickled down, creating a deeply unsettling scene.

Near the Ferris wheel, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were hiding in the corners, closely observing Venom Parker's every move.

They didn't act hastily, knowing all too well how dangerous this creature was after losing many colleagues in the past.

Upon noticing Charlie's group, it seemed as if they had been expecting them, and they promptly withdrew from the amusement park.

"Commander, they have arrived."

Outside the amusement park, Agent Hill reported the situation in real time.

In the S.H.I.E.L.D. command room, the surveillance feed on the big screen locked onto the target.

Nick Fury's one eye glinted as he watched the five-person team.

"Keep an eye on them, but don't interfere with their fight," he commanded.

Next to him, Coulson said, "The red and blue Spider-Man was the start of this incident. He has found strange individuals lurking in the shadows one by one and convinced them with a strange scepter. He's gathering so much power; he must have a purpose."

Nick Fury nodded, "Some individuals were never detected by our intelligence system, yet Spider-Man found them with ease."

Looking at the old Captain America and another Loki in the team, Fury took a deep breath.

"Stark wasn't lying to us; parallel universes really exist." He had been keeping an eye on this strange team all along.

"But another Natasha hasn't appeared," Coulson noted.

"That's not important."

Nick Fury focused on the unfolding battle on the screen, "What's important is whether their target is the Tesseract or something else."

He then looked at Coulson.

"Tony and Steve haven't come back yet?"

"No, they haven't followed orders."

"Those two are too easily out of control."

"Fortunately, Barton has returned."

At that moment, the amusement park battle erupted.

Boom!!!

Green flames lit up the night sky as pumpkin bombs exploded one after another. The black creature roared in fury amidst the fire, brandishing a massive black blade tens of meters long.

Buzz~

Before the blade could reach Norman, Old Man Steve, climbing the metal frame, wasted no time activating a high-frequency sonic device—a skill he learned from watching Natasha operate it.

"Ahhh!!"

The sonic waves spread out, melting the blade. The black liquid twisted violently, emitting a terrifying scream that echoed through the night sky, as Venom Parker went on a rampage, destroying everything around him.
