Marvel: Restart! Spiderman!

Chapter 100: Ch.100 Odin's Demise, Dark Tony

"Cursed?" Tony mused.

"Can a wizard run for election?" he asked Young Steve.

Young Steve corrected him, "It's called a sorcerer."

Charlie raised his wrist, trying various odd hand gestures but still couldn't remember how to shoot his web.

"Okay, I'm a Spider-Man who can't use webs."

They say there's a seventh Infinity Stone in Iron Man's head in the multiverse.

Collecting all seven Infinity Stones can summon the Goddess of Vengeance—a really messed-up plot.

The seventh Infinity Stone has different names, such as the Ego Stone, Wisdom Stone, or Knowledge Stone, but Charlie wasn't sure if they were all the same.

Thanos' explanation made Charlie realize that the Knowledge Stone could be what was cursing Tony's mind.

The Titan relic had activated the Knowledge Stone in Tony's mind. Whether it was the Ancient One or Dark Stephen, the knowledge of how to use magic had been completely erased by the Knowledge Stone.

Even Charlie himself forgot how to shoot webs.

As long as it was knowledge acquired later in life, it could be erased by the Knowledge Stone.

But the Knowledge Stone didn't erase all learned knowledge.

Otherwise, they wouldn't remember the Knowledge Stone itself.

The Knowledge Stone would affect skills learned with significant effort.

If Tony had the Wisdom Stone in his mind, everyone around would turn into fools—that was also possible.

But from the current situation, it didn't seem much different.

"Use the rock-and-roll hand gesture, like this."

Suddenly, Tony demonstrated a move on the spot, teaching Charlie how to shoot his web.

Charlie: "..."

"How do you even know that?" He twitched his mouth.

Tony shrugged. "I don't know why, but I just know it."

Charlie rubbed his forehead.

Wow, so they hadn't lost their abilities but had them stolen by the Knowledge Stone.

He imitated Tony's gesture, and sure enough, successfully shot out the web.

Yep, he could use webs again.

He was a Spider-Man who could shoot webs.

Afterward, Tony looked at the Sling Ring on the Ancient One's finger. "Can I borrow that?"

The Ancient One, deep in thought, handed over the ring without hesitation.

"Thank you, Sorcerer Supreme."

Tony smiled slightly, focusing as he stretched out his hand to draw a circle, and golden sparks quickly bloomed before him.

On the other side of the portal, Nick Fury was hiding alone in a bathroom, cursing loudly.

"Those two jerks went solo? Don't let me catch you messing up, or else I swear I'll—"

"What will you do, dear Director?"

Tony's voice suddenly echoed. Nick Fury immediately composed himself, nonchalantly pulling up his pants.

Seeing Tony appear in the golden portal, he looked embarrassed and cleared his throat.

"Ahem, nothing. Just remember to file a report next time. This time I'll forgive you."

"Thank you so much. By the way, did you wipe properly?"

"That's not important. Did you invent a spatial device?"

"This is magic."

Tony replied through the portal, "Get ready. Come here to detain a Dark Sorcerer criminal."

Though Nick Fury didn't understand what a Dark Sorcerer was, he immediately issued the order.

Tony was acting way too weird.

And Dark Stephen, witnessing all this, seemed to understand something as well.

"Damn you! Give me my magic back!!"

He lunged at Tony, only to be intercepted by Thanos' towering figure.

"Dark Sorcerer, let's brawl!"

Boom!!

Thanos grinned, throwing a straightforward punch, still as fierce as ever.

Besides losing years of combat skills, it didn't impact him much otherwise.

Bang!!

Next moment, darkness erupted. Thanos' punch was repelled by the automatic dark energy shielding Stephen, but it still sent him flying several hundred meters.

Seeing this, Charlie raised an eyebrow.

"Even without magic, his dark energy is still a big threat. Take him down."

"Take him down!"

Young Steve threw his shield with all his strength.

Clang~

The shield flew through the air, bounced off Dark Stephen, and then ricocheted far away, leaving Young Steve embarrassed.

"My shield flew away."

"Then forget about fancy techniques."

Charlie said, shooting webs from both hands to form a web slingshot.

Pff~

The webs missed their target. Charlie scratched his head.

"How do you use spatial webs again?"

"Like this." Tony demonstrated again on the spot.

"Thanks."

"No problem."

The golden portal closed. After teaching Charlie to use the spatial web, Tony turned to the Ancient One.

"Can I borrow some of your magic energy?"

The Ancient One thought for a moment. "I remember a type of spell like that. You should try it!"

"Alright, thank you, Sorcerer."

Immediately, Tony formed seals with his hands, as if he had practiced them countless times.

Buzz~

Suddenly, a golden magic circle appeared under both Tony and the Ancient One, drawing wisps of golden energy from the Ancient One, which quickly poured into Tony's forehead.

Crack, crack, crack~

Having obtained the magical energy, Tony waved his hand. The ground around him shook, and large quantities of metal formed various parts of a suit of armor at his command, taking only seconds to form a new Mark suit.

Click!

Feeling the armor surround him gave Tony a sense of security.

With the magic circle still active, Tony snapped his fingers.

"Alright, it's time for my performance."

His lips curled confidently, and as he ascended with flames beneath his feet, he split into multiple copies, filling the sky with Iron Man suits that converged on Dark Stephen.

"You bastard! You sneaky thief!!"

Dark Stephen cursed, before being enveloped by a barrage of repulsor blasts.

Boom, boom, boom!!

The barrage halted Charlie and the others in their tracks.

"Damn it, he's showing off again."

Charlie crossed his arms, watching. Beside him, Thanos said, "It seems like we won't be needed anymore."

"Not necessarily."

The Ancient One said from the magic circle, "He borrowed my power, which I borrowed from somewhere else, so the conversion efficiency is low. A lot of magic energy will be wasted; he won't last long."

"Alright, looks like we are needed after all." Young Steve secretly retrieved his shield.

Before anyone could make a move, a golden meteor fell from the night sky, and Loki and the others finally joined the battle.

Chant!!

At that moment, Odin's divine power radiated, and Gungnir instantly pierced Dark Stephen.

Ugh!!

Dark Stephen screamed as he fell, and the descending Mjolnir struck with a storm of lightning.

Boom!!

The violent lightning engulfed Dark Stephen, but Thor, held by Mjolnir, was thrown harshly into the distant forest.

"No, no, no, stop—"

Boom~

A loud crash echoed, and electric arcs spread throughout the forest.

"It seems like he forgot how to control his hammer," Thanos frowned.

Charlie shook his head. "It looks like the Knowledge Stone has taken effect. As long as they're near Tony, they'll be affected."

Mjolnir, a blessed Asgardian weapon, was forged from the unique metal of the Asgardian realm—it was extremely hard to control.

To wield it proficiently required dedicated practice.

Old Steve knew this best.

After all, the guy had secretly practiced an entire combo with it.

Amidst the divine light, Old Steve and Tuxedo Loki emerged.

In this area, they felt... different, as if something was off.

As the battle neared its end and the pressure faded, Tuxedo Loki's eyes fell on Thanos. He shuddered, feeling a flash of fear before he masked it with false calm.

"Stay calm; it's not that Thanos, don't get nervous." He tried to reassure himself.

Reaching out, Gungnir flew back into his hand.

Buzz~

With Odin's power coursing through him, Tuxedo Loki felt another thought forming.

Now was the time to kill Thanos, to prevent the tragedies that followed!

Murderous intent filled his eyes.

Chant!

The spear hummed, Odin's power flowing through it. Sensing Loki's killing intent, Thanos instinctively moved aside, catching the incoming spear shaft.

Without battle techniques, he still had muscle memory.

"What are you doing?" Thanos frowned.

Loki's eyes widened. "How did you... How could you avoid Gungnir?"

Thanos sneered. "Odin's son, that's not how you use a divine weapon."

With that, his arm exploded with power, easily wrenching Gungnir from Loki's hand.

"No!!"

Tuxedo Loki cried out as Thanos swatted him aside.

Holding Gungnir, Thanos felt no surge of Odin's power into his body.

"So that's how it is. I understand now." He muttered.

Casually, he tossed Gungnir to Charlie.

"Catch."

Buzz~

Charlie caught Gungnir, and realization dawned on him as well.

"So that's it." He laughed.

Old Steve was confused. "What did you understand?"

Charlie explained, "To prevent conflict between the two Lokis, Odin made Gungnir only capable of killing Dark Stephen.

Gungnir can't harm anyone else."

"Really?" Old Steve shook his head.

Tuxedo Loki overheard this and gave a bitter smile.

"Father wanted to protect Loki. I should be happy about that, but..." His expression grew complex.

"Here."

Charlie tossed Gungnir back to him. "Let's end this."

Charlie wasn't sure how long the Knowledge Stone's influence would last.

To avoid wasting another restart, the battle had to end.

Tuxedo Loki caught Gungnir, feeling the familiar divine power surging through him again.

He had no choice but to abandon his plan to kill Thanos and hurled Gungnir at Dark Stephen instead.

Buzz~

Splat!

"Ah!!"

In an instant, the golden spear pinned Dark Stephen to the ground, Odin's power continuously destroying his body and draining the vast dark energy within him.

Crackle, crackle~

The golden energy flickered as Dark Stephen gritted his teeth, trying to pull Gungnir out.

The next second, Tuxedo Loki dashed over, grabbing the spear, stopping Dark Stephen from pulling it out.

"I heard you wanted to kill my father."

Loki's eyes were fierce. "So I have to kill you first."

With that, Odin's power in him surged, Gungnir's glow brightened, and Dark Stephen's screams grew more harrowing.

"Ah!! Damned Odin, I will not lose!!"

Dark energy spread across Dark Stephen's body, resisting Gungnir's suppression.

"Odin's power has weakened too much. Gungnir alone can't kill him."

Thanos frowned, pulling out the Titan relic.

"Spidey, it's our turn."

"Of course."

The two approached Loki, each holding the relic. The Spider Totem and the purple starlight surged into Loki, flowing into Gungnir.

Buzz!

Instantly, Gungnir shone brilliantly, with red, blue, and purple mixing into the golden divine power, and much of the dark energy was wiped away.

"Ah!! What is this? What the hell is this?!"

Dark Stephen roared in agony, the third eye on his forehead dissolving into black mist.

Charlie and Thanos exchanged a glance.

"What should we say to him? We were just experimenting, didn't expect it to work."

"Forget it, let's not respond. He's almost dead anyway."

"Isn't that rude?"

"Who cares? Do you?"

"I don't care either."

They both smiled, and the black mist enveloping Dark Stephen dispersed. His haggard face regained some color before quickly turning pale.

At this moment, there was no longer anger or malice on his face.

Only endless regret.

"Christine... Christine..."

"Sorry, I failed again. Forgive me... forgive me..."

Whoosh~

A gentle breeze swept by, and Dark Stephen turned to ashes, completely disappearing from the world.

Simultaneously, Gungnir's glow dimmed, and the Odin force within Loki receded like a tide.

Crack~

Suddenly, a crack appeared on Gungnir's shaft, and Loki's face changed.

"What... No, Father!!"

As if realizing something, he dashed toward Thor, desperate to return to Asgard.

"What's wrong?" Old Steve walked over and asked.

Charlie, deep in thought, replied, "Gungnir's power is depleted."

"Can't it be recharged?" Old Steve asked, confused.

Thanos said, "It's not like that. Odin put all his power into Gungnir. He doesn't have the strength left to repair it."

"So..."

Old Steve's face fell. "Odin is going to fall?"

Charlie nodded. "That seems to be the case. Loki has indirectly caused the death of Odin in this world."

"That's too cruel for him." Old Steve sighed.

"Cruel, yes, but it's also meant to help Loki."

Charlie let out a breath. "Perhaps Odin wanted Loki to understand that he always loved him, even at the cost of his own life."

Thanos frowned.

"I don't understand the gods of Asgard. There are many ways to prove familial love. Why choose this one?"

"Old tradition."

Charlie said, suddenly noticing a trace of black mist drifting nearby.

"Hmm?"

He turned to see Tony forming seals with his hands, the black mist quickly entering his body.

It was the dark magic energy left behind by Dark Stephen!

"What are you doing?"

Everyone's scalp tingled as they realized what was happening.
