So, I got the gist of what was going on.

I got the system, which ever reincarnator gets. And like every system mine gives out newbie rewards too. But the problem is that for that reward I have to do a task, which may or may not kill me. But the reward is GAE.

Also, the system hates when it's host uses crude language for it. And I got electrocuted twelve times, till I stopped it. Also there is a spiderwoman. Definitely Gwen became Ghost Spider or something, since only that plot would make sense of Peter becoming Lizard guy.

After getting electrocuted, I thought of something. It was obvious that I wouldn't go down, just after I got reincarnated. Moreover it hasn't been a day, since I got reincarnated.

So, that means I might have to complete the task, I would have to become a Lizard man. Obviously Connors won't let me drink that serum. So, I had to drink it when Connors wouldn't see me. And the only time that is possible would be after everyone goes off the school premises. But that won't be possible for me, because the school security was way too tight, because the school being one of the best tech school nearby, and well known people were the lecturers, like Dr. Connors, who is a head scientist in OsCorp.

Anyways, I reached home, and I found Aunt May sitting on the couch, writing something on the paper on the table. "Aunt May? You came early?", I asked.

To which she replied, "Yes Peter. Tomorrow is Uncle Ben's Aniversary. We have to go visit him, so I had to do some things before that, so I came early. "

Yeah, it turns out that Uncle Ben of this Peter Parker had died a few years back. Turns out there was a bank robbery and Ben was also there inside the bank. There was also an autistic person among the hostages.

And that guy freaked out when he saw the robbers. Uncle Ben tried to save him, and he was successful too. But the robbers killed him before he could save himself. Though the cops arrived at that time exactly, and the robbers had to flee the spot, without robbing anything. So it was a yay for bank, but not for us. Because we never received anything from anyone, while we were the one who lost a loved one.

"Hm?", I pondered. I have been thinking it as We. Did my subconscious mind already accept that Peter and me are the same?

Uh, whatever.

"Need any help, May?", I asked. Truth be told, I was bored and had nothing to do. If I had nothing to do, I think. And when I think, I think a lot. And the situation I am in, right now, wasn't the one I should be thinking about.

Moreover the system hasn't come out to talk even once after I stopped cursing it. So yeah, that's it. But sadly the reply May gave to me was, "No need dear. I am already done. Want something to eat?"

Shaking my head, I replied, "It's alright. I will do that myself May. "

May smiled and got busy with what she was doing, while I went to the kitchen and found a bag of chips.

I picked up the bag and went to my room. Obviously I had the courtesy so I offered May some, but she said, "It's alright Pete. I will eat in a while. There is another bag, right?"

I replied in a yes, and went up to my room. Once I entered the room, I locked the door, and checked the phone of Peter. No, my phone.

There were tons of messages. It was from Gwen. It was her asking if I had reached home. I replied, "Yep, just reached. Whatcha doing?"

Her reply was instant, "Lying on the bed. Doing nothing. You?"

I wrote, "Same, but add a bag of chips to it."

A sad face emoji came from the other side, and Gwen wrote, "My dad doesn't allow me to eat Potato chips. He says it's bad for health. Sometimes I really envy you. "

"Well? If you want you can come to my house? Obviously I ain't gonna force you. But sure, you are welcome. "

Now, some would say that was a desperate move. But it was a move. And it had the effect.

Gwen replied with an Alright. And she went offline.

Gwen lived a few houses away from mine, so it was normal that she was close to me and she occasionally came to my place.

Even her father knew that. It might be my mistake or something, but from Peter's memories, I think that Gwen's father considers Peter as his son in law. Or maybe I am just imagining things.

Well that might be the benefit of George seeing Peter since he was young, and also because he was a good friend of Uncle Ben.

I decided to keep the bag of chips away for sometime, so that Gwen would also get some.

That sounds wrong.

I scrolled on my phone, that's when I saw a video posted by Liz Jordan..

It was a video of mine and Flash's fight. Obviously it was kind of embarassing to see it now. I was the one getting beaten. So yeah.

Thankfully there are no marks or bruises on my face, or else May would have grilled me with questions.

The comments on that post was varied. Some were saying about how strong Flash is. While some said that standing upto Flash in a fight after being beaten isn't an easy feat.

So yeah, the comments were many, but none interested me.

That's when I got a notification on my phone.

Accept. Decline.

I clicked on accept.

As soon as I got the accept button, I got a message from her.

"You alright?"

"Uh. Yes. "

"Cool "

"?"

"So.. I am sorry for my brother. I didn't get the chance today to apologise properly. "

"Oh. It's alright. No need to apologise."

"What do you mean no need to apologise? My brother bullied you. "

"It's alright. Moreover the one getting more embarassed won't be me. "

"Well Flash is famous for knocking out people with one hit. Today he failed. Against me. Peter Puny Parker. So yeah. "

Jessica probably enjoyed our talk, because we talked for quite some time.

Then she went offline saying she has to do her homework. Luckily that was also when Gwen came to my house. There was a knock on my door.
