Marvel: Gwen Came To My House Late At Night

Chapter 36: Affectionate and Scumbag Roddy

In the restaurant, the atmosphere is romantic.

Roddy raised his glass and clinked it with Gwen who was opposite.

"Cheers!"

Gwen's cheeks were flushed, and it was obvious that she had juice in her glass, but it felt like she was drinking.

"Tell me about your band."

Roddy put down his glass and said.

When mentioning the band she had formed with her friends, Gwen suddenly became more energetic.

She couldn't help but speed up her speech.

"Actually, it's not my band, it's ours," Gwen said. "I'm the drummer in the band, Betty is the bass player, Glory plays the guitar, and Mary is the lead singer."

"This band is our heart, it does not belong to any one of us, but to this collective."

Gwen talked about the band as if there were endless things to talk about at once.

When she was Spider-Woman, she never talked to Roddy about the band because she didn't want to reveal her identity.

This probably made Gwen feel a little suffocated.

Roddy didn't show any sign of impatience.

Instead, he listened carefully to Gwen's narration and said a few words of his own opinion from time to time.

This made Gwen very happy.

She thinks there is something in common between them.

It took over two hours for dinner.

Because they had arrived relatively early to eat when it was just five o'clock.

Therefore, it was less than eight o'clock when the two left the restaurant.

"I feel like I've eaten a lot, and my stomach is a little full."

Gwen touched her belly and said.

"How about going for a walk in a nearby park?" Roddy suggested.

Hearing this, Gwen nodded and agreed without thinking.

After she agreed, she realized that she was being too unreserved?

'Will it make Roddy think I'm a pretty casual girl?'

Gwen was a little breathless.

But Roddy didn't do what she thought. Would he, a person who knew about Gwen's character still not understand?

This girl is usually studying, or forming a band with a few good girlfriends.

And recently she even took on a Spider-Woman identity.

How can she have time to fall in love!

Gwen has never even held the hands of other boys, she is a pure innocent girl.

This is the type of person who will often catch the eye of some bad guys and suffer.

But Gwen is different from those ordinary girls. Other girls will only cry when they are bullied by their boyfriends.

And Gwen might directly break the opponent's bones!

Is she is even more angry then she might directly screw off the opponent's head.

After all, she has this strength.

But Roddy definitely wouldn't bully Gwen like that.

Although he is more fraternal.

But for a good girl, he will still cherish and love her.

He won't just forget what her name is when he gets her like he does with the women who usually appear by his side.

....

In the park, there are many people walking at this point.

Most live nearby.

After all, if it was later, it would not be suitable to go out.

Roddy and Gwen walked side by side.

They talked about what they didn't finish talking about in the restaurant before.

At this time, a few naughty children came from the opposite side, running towards this side while playing.

"Careful!"

Roddy took Gwen's little hand and pulled her closer.

Several children quickly ran away.

Roddy, however, had no intention of letting go of her hand.

Gwen blushed and looked down, but she didn't intend to break free.

The two continued walking hand in hand.

It felt like time had slowed down at this moment.

Everything around them seemed to be moving away from the two of them, but the distance between them was getting infinitely closer!

Gwen didn't even know when she was held in Roddy's arms.

When she reacted, she quickly ran away like a frightened rabbit.

"That...it's late, I should go home."

Gwen lowered her head and pinched the corners of her clothes with both hands, feeling extremely nervous.

"It's quite late." Roddy glanced at the time on his watch, and it turned out that it was almost 9 o'clock before he knew it. No wonder there were not many people in the park.

Even a few homeless people appeared.

"Let's go, I'll take you back." Roddy said.

Then he reached out to grab Gwen's little hand, and took the girl who had been looking down at him embarrassedly, and walked out of the park.

Behind her, Gwen looked down at the two hands clasped together, feeling sweet in her heart, a feeling she had never felt before.

'Is this what love feels like?' Gwen thought

But on the surface, the two just met today.

Gwen thinks that this development is too fast?

Although in fact they have known each other for several days.

But Roddy didn't know she was Spider-Woman, did he?

"He must be very good with girls right"

Gwen thought as she looked at Roddy who was walking ahead.

Thinking of the possibility that Roddy was as good to another girl as he was to herself tonight, Gwen felt a little uncomfortable, even a little sour.

Leaving the park, Roddy took Gwen back to the car.

After getting in the car, he found that Gwen's mood was a bit wrong, as if she was deliberately avoiding his eyes.

After thinking about it for a while, Roddy probably understood the reason.

"What's on your mind?"

So Roddy asked proactively.

Hearing this, Gwen also looked up at him, and said, "Have you had many girlfriends before? You have practiced those just now on other girls, right?"

"I don't deny that there are many women around me." Roddy said, "But as for girlfriends, to be honest, I only had two when I was a student, and the last one was when I was in college."

"Only two?"

Gwen couldn't believe it.

Roddy is so good that Gwen thinks he must be an Aquaman.

"Just two, nothing more," Roddy said, "But not counting girlfriends, I have been with many girls."

Roddy was so honest that Gwen didn't know what to say.

Blame him for being too carefree?

But before today, they didn't really meet each other at all.
