Mike looked up at the sky, watching the rapidly descending figure, as the cards in his hand turned into specks of light and vanished.

This was his first time using his upgraded abilities in combat, and it was hard for him to contain his excitement.

As Mike activated his card, a faint, shadowy figure appeared behind him.

Dressed in a black coat embroidered with red clouds, a conical hat adorned with wind chimes, and with his head slightly lowered, only one hand could be seen gripping the hat, along with a pair of blood-red eyes.

In the next instant, the shadowy figure dissipated, turning into light points that rushed into Mike's body.

Mike felt the surge of power within him, a faint smile curling at the corners of his mouth. He looked once more at the Black King, whose descent grew faster, and his eyes silently shifted to a blood-red hue, three black tomoe slowly spinning within them.

Meanwhile, the Black King gathered a massive amount of energy beneath his feet, like a shooting star, charging straight toward Mike.

Mike quickly formed hand signs.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Boom!

A massive fireball erupted from Mike's mouth, shooting up into the sky.

"Hmph!"

The Black King sneered as he slammed into the fireball.

The fireball rapidly shrank, disappearing completely as the Black King swallowed it whole.

"Tch!"

Seeing this, Mike smiled.

Though he knew that the Great Fireball Jutsu was of no use against the Black King, he couldn't help but feel the need to use his new abilities. If he didn't show off a little, it just wouldn't feel right.

In the next second, the Black King crashed toward Mike.

Boom!

The ground exploded.

The earth shattered in all directions from the impact, sending debris flying as the force of the blast flipped the broken ground and scattered it outward.

Logan and the others cursed loudly and scrambled to dodge.

After a few seconds, the swirling dust began to settle, and the three of them slowly stood up from the rubble.

"Pah!"

Logan spat out blood-tinged dirt, glaring at the Black King, who stood at the center of the devastation. His eye twitched in frustration.

This guy is impossible to deal with.

"Where's Mike?" Hank Pym shouted, clutching his chest.

Remy LeBeau frowned, "He didn't get turned into dust, did he?"

Hank and Logan glared at Remy. "Quit jinxing us!"

"Hm? A feather?"

Logan glanced at the feather that had fallen into his palm, momentarily stunned.

A sky full of black feathers fluttered down, accompanied by the distant caws of crows.

The three of them looked up to see a flock of crows descending, and just as they vanished, Mike's figure reappeared in front of them.

"What is this ability?"

Remy LeBeau's eyes widened in amazement, clearly impressed.

Hank and Logan exchanged surprised glances, both equally stunned.

Another new ability!

How many abilities does Mike have hidden up his sleeve?

The Black King furrowed his brow, glaring at Mike's smiling face, his irritation growing.

"Just a bunch of flashy abilities!"

He muttered under his breath, clenched his fist, and charged at Mike again.

*Boom!*

A punch landed on Mike, but he transformed into a swarm of crows, scattering in all directions.

As the Black King was left confused, he saw Mike reappear beside him.

The Black King furrowed his brow, staring at Mike's blood-red eyes, filled with confusion. What was going on?

Suddenly, he felt as though his body was on fire, intense pain coursing through him. He looked down to see two flames igniting at his feet, rapidly climbing up his legs.

"When did this happen?"

He shouted in alarm and used his own abilities.

But there was no response. The flames continued to burn, causing him to scream in agony.

Time passed, and eventually, the flames disappeared. As he gasped for breath, drenched in cold sweat, an unbearable, excruciating pain suddenly surged from his limbs.

He looked down, his eyes widening in shock.

His body was pinned to the ground by several wedges, immobilizing him.

What was happening?

Was it an illusion?

But this pain… was real.

"Ah!"

He screamed again, writhing in agony.

---

Meanwhile, from Logan's perspective, the Black King had fallen from the sky and stood frozen, motionless, like an idiot.

What's going on?

The three of them exchanged confused glances.

At that moment, Mike, who had been experimenting with various illusions, waved his hand toward Logan.

"Go ahead, uh, Logan!" he called.

"Huh?"

Logan looked at Mike, confused.

Mike pointed at the Black King. "Take him out."

Logan squinted at Mike, his expression clearly saying, "You're not trying to set me up, are you?"

Go for it?

Just to get smashed away again?

It might not kill me, but it sure will hurt!

Mike sighed, "You think I'd set you up? He won't fight back. He's already been controlled."

Logan remained unmoved.

Mike continued, "If you don't hurry, my ability will wear off soon."

Hearing this, Logan hesitated. "He really won't move?"

"Really won't!"

When the Black King's eyes met his, the battle was already over.

After that, Mike experimented with several illusions on the Black King.

Illusions: Bubble, Fire of Unknown Origins, and the magical Jailing Technique.

Before Mike even activated Tsukuyomi, the Black King was already trapped in the illusions, unable to escape.

With Mike's assurance, Logan quickly charged toward the Black King. His Adamantium claw gleamed coldly as he passed the Black King and slashed at his neck.

Sizzle!

Several deep cuts appeared on the Black King's neck.

Logan paused for a moment.

He really didn't fight back?

Thud!

The Black King's head dropped to the ground, blood gushing from the severed neck, falling like raindrops.

Seeing this, not only Logan was stunned, but Hank Pym and Remy LeBeau were also frozen in shock.

It was that easy?

This can't be real!

In fact, even Mike hadn't expected it to be so simple.

He thought it would take Tsukuyomi to deal with the Black King, but now it seemed that as long as his abilities countered the Black King's, everything became effortless.

It was like the original storyline where even after the Black King absorbed enormous amounts of energy and transformed into a nuclear bomb, he was still easily controlled by psychic powers, becoming utterly vulnerable and taken out by a small coin.

The Black King's resistance to mental attacks was absurdly low.

However, compared to a coin, Logan's claw…

"It's way too bloody," Remy said, shaking his head at Logan.

Hank couldn't help but ask, "Do you have some sort of special obsession with this?"

Logan looked wronged and said, "I just didn't want him to fight back. I wanted to end it quickly."

"So, you still think I'm tricking you?" Mike said, looking at Logan with exasperation.

Logan opened his mouth but, seeing the complicated expressions on their faces, he took a deep breath, rolled his eyes, and then raised his middle finger at them. "F***!"

"Hahaha!"

The four of them laughed wholeheartedly.

After the laughter died down, Mike waved to Logan. "You can go first. There's still some business to handle."

Logan, still smiling, walked toward the others. As he passed the Black King's body, Mike's low voice rang out.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Boom!

A massive fireball landed in the crater where the Black King had been standing, engulfing his corpse.

Logan and the others stared at Mike with wide eyes, full of fear.

"What are you doing?"

"You have this kind of hobby too?"

"Tsk, tsk!"

Mike glanced at their expressions, his eyebrow twitching, and said, "What? Do you want to roast something too?"

The three of them simultaneously shook their heads and turned to leave.

Mike laughed and chased after them.
