Marvel DxD: The New Sorcerer Supreme

Chapter 83: Ch. 81 - The Great War! [18]

True to my theories, the newly body made was very compatible with the Corrupted Angel bloodline as it didn't explode into tiny pieces of nothingness.

Not only that, with this new body, I can now use both Demonic Energy and Holy Energy without any problems.

Although I have no idea why Demonic Energy, which is supposed to originate from a devil's body, suddenly latched onto my soul, but I'll take my chances and figure this out later once I'm out of here.

Maybe the same will happen to the Holy Energy and it would latch itself on my soul in the future.

'This is it!' I excitedly muttered under my breath, breathing heavily in the process.

Now, all that's left is to bring this body into fruition.

"Raviel. It's time for us to get out of here." I turned to Raviel and informed him with a hint of joy in my tone.

However, the said joy soon vanished when I noticed that Raviel became even more transparent, to the point that it's almost impossible to see him.

"Raviel?" I confusedly uttered, approaching him to help.

However, Raviel simply took a step back and flashed a smile for the first time since we met.

I have a bad feeling about this. My chest seemed to tighten for a reason.

"It looks like my time is up, Chamber. It was good knowing you." He said as his transparency continues to disappear.

"No…NO!" Realization struck me like a lightning bolt and I quickly stretched my arms to reach him.

However, as usual, I just passed through him. This has been common knowledge to us since the last time we attempt to touch each other.

"Raviel! What's going on!" I couldn't but growl at him, the only friend I had in this lonely space.

"It's the only way for your soul to survive inside Trihexa." He explained in a weakened manner, his smile faltering as the transparency intensifies.

"You didn't tell me something like this would happen! You knew!? You knew!" The more I yell, the more desperation spread over my entire being due to Raviel turning more and more transparent as time pass by.

Instead of answering my question, Raviel simply gave me a smile and waved his hand.

"Raviel…." I gulped my saliva, muttering his name for the last time.

"It has been nice knowing you in person, Chamber. Now please don't waste my sacrifice and bring yourself back to your loved ones." Bringing his hand down, Raviel then finally revealed.

But before I could reply to him, he continued, which would be his last words.

"Can you tell my mother that I love her and I'm sorry that I won't be able to see her, please? Thank you." And with that, I fell on my knees as Raviel finally disappeared and turned into motes of light that soon vanished into nothingness, leaving me alone in the wide expanse of space.

"Raviel…." I muttered to myself once again as tears were forming in my eyes.

The surroundings grew quiet to the point that silence became the loudest thing I've ever heard.

"….I promise you, Raviel." A few moments later, I finished my words with determination in my voice.

His last wish to properly say to goodbye to her mother would be met, even if I have to defeat Lucifer himself while at it.

Wiping away my tears, I shifted my focus back on the body but this time, my face bore a serious expression.

I have to go back outside. No. I NEED to go back outside.

From Raviel's words earlier before his disappearance, I have concluded that he was the reason why I'm still alive.

He must've used something precious to him to preserve my soul while I'm being eaten by Trihexa.

And now that he's gone, that means my protection time is up and I would also turn into nothingness like he did.

Which means I have to hurry up and bring myself back outside.

With the help of my Demonic Energy, I closed my eyes and saw the sight outside my enclosed soul space.

It was dark, with my pure white soul orb floating endless, also providing the only light inside this darkness.

A few moments pass, a blob of flesh appeared out of thin air, swirling around as it expanded tremendously, forming a figure.

A few minutes passed and the figure has turned into a full-fledged naked body.

I slowly opened my eyes and it didn't take long for my vision to adjust from the darkness.

I looked around me and despite having adjusted, I still can't see my surroundings.

Still, that's not what's important here.

Looking down on my hand, I clenched it, feeling the familiar power coursing through me.

I can feel it, with the help of tweaking my body a bit, I'm now physically stronger than before. If my guess is right, then physically, I'm as strong as a peak Ultimate-class devil.

As I played around my body for a bit, I used my magical senses on myself and as I expected, I can sense both my Demonic Energy and my brand new Holy Energy, not having a conflict against each other.

Mostly thanks to my Demonic Energy being situated inside my soul instead of my body.

My body on the other hand, holds the Holy Energy, hence why there has been no opposition between the two.

It's like two rivals being placed in different rooms, resulting in a peaceful and quiet environment.

"I need to get out of here, they need my help." My eyes widened in surprise at the realization and I quickly prepared myself to get out of Trihexa's stomach.

Suddenly, before I could do anything, my surroundings started to shake and I can feel something down me coming up.

"What the?" I muttered to myself out of confusion and before I could react, a sticky and wet feeling came surging from the bottom and enveloped my entire body.

'Fuck!' I cursed under my breath and felt myself being lifted upwards.

The sticky liquid that has clung into has some acidic properties, as I can feel the burning sensation it gives me.

'Goddammit!' I cursed once again. Although it won't actually hurt me but still it's annoying to deal with.

However, deep inside, this acidic liquid would help me get out of Trihexa's stomach.

Since when did beings like the Apocalypse Beast became capable of puking? What a weird thing to experience.

But still, I'm grateful the big beast can puke.

It would make it easier for me to get out of here.

A few seconds later, I started to see the light.

Finally!

As soon as I was out, I tried to yell on top of my lungs only to realize that there's was no oxygen around me.

Fuck! I totally forgot I might still be in the Dimensional Gap!

Quickly, I placed the same previous spell in my body and only then did I sigh in relief.

Casting a clean spell on me, my eyes scanned my surroundings.

From the looks of it, only a few seconds have passed during my stay in my soul. All hail the Chronos Requiem.

"Chamber!" I see God sigh in relief as he called out for me. Looking at his ragged appearance and battered white robe, he must've attempted to rescue me from the Apocalypse Beast.

"I'm back." I smiled and waved my hand at him.

Just as God was about to approach me, his eyes widened in surprise.

"You're….an angel? No. But close to one." God kept muttering to himself, loud enough for me to hear.

He must've figured out that I'm no longer a devil but an angel, albeit a corrupted one.

"I'll explain later." I said to him and he nodded his head.

Flying towards him with my telekinesis, I asked.

"What's the situation?" I stared at the huge beast in front of us. After puking the hell out of me, Trihexa remained unmoving.

"It seems to me that the sealing worked?" I asked him for confirmation.

Instead of an answer, God simply pointed a finger towards the small golden figure that is past the lower half of Trihexa, where thousands upon thousands of large rune characters can be seen on its body.

"Buddha did the work?" I said with an impressed tone.

"Not exactly. While the beast was busy trying to puke you out thanks to your green-haired friend over there." God then pointed at the unconscious Ajuka who was being princess carried by an old man, Odin before continuing.

"Me and Buddha did some quick work to plant a paralyzation rune on the beast, it seems to have lowered its defenses while it was puking. Must've been some sort of weakness." God muttered the last one to himself.

"I see." I'm glad I brought Ajuka along with me. If not, I'm not sure I would've gotten this far.

"So does that mean it's done?" I changed the topic.

"That's right. And thanks to you, Odin didn't lose an eye this time." God whispered the last sentence to me, making the both of us chuckle while Odin felt a twitch on his eye.

'Why does it feel like someone's making fun of me?' Odin muttered to himself as his remaining eye glanced at us, hiding our laughs in suspicion.

"Seriously? I thought he lost it because he sacrificed it in exchange for great wisdom?" I was shocked by this information, does this also apply to Odin from the Marvel Universe?

If so, then I just gained a very crucial knowledge!

However, I remembered that Trihexa might've never existed in the Marvel Universe, so I just decided to scratch it.

"I guess it's time to go home huh?" I muttered to myself as Buddha finished the sealing runes on Trihexa, fully covering its enormous body.

I wonder how many hours have passed outside? Hopefully, we haven't passed through the Great War yet.
