"Hey there~ My name is Gwen... oh wait, you already know that?"

Gwen was just about to introduce herself when she suddenly remembered—Ron had already

said her name earlier.

Ron raised his champagne glass.

"No, I've only heard of you."

"They say Captain Stacy has a daughter, a very beautiful one."

"But this is my first time seeing her in person."

"So, as our first official meeting..."

"Allow me to introduce myself: Ron. Ron Stark."

Gwen smiled.

"You're right."

"I'm Gwen. Gwen Stacy."

This brief introduction set the foundation for what was to come.

And once they started talking—

Gwen became even more surprised.

He knew so much.

Even topics that girls usually talked about—

Ron could chat about them effortlessly.

Ron: Do you even understand the value of a professional simp?

Being a simp isn't just about blindly flattering. You have to make it enjoyable.

That's the only way you can one day have everything you want.

Otherwise, what? Just dry simping?

Damn!

Even machinery needs lubrication—what makes you think women don't?

Dry simping is awkward and unnatural.

What kind of goddess would like that?

So, making a woman feel comfortable?

That's an art.

You have to match her energy.

To do that, you need knowledge—lots of it.

From daily life to work,

To makeup, photography, travel, food—

You name it, you gotta know it.

Make the conversation fun.

Only then will a goddess be willing to engage with you.

Otherwise, you're broke, not particularly good-looking,

And you don't even have a silver tongue—

Why would a goddess waste her time on you?

Of course, if you're a rich and handsome guy,

Money and looks already give you an edge,

But knowing how to talk just adds extra points.

Take Ron, for example—

Even though this was their first meeting,

Gwen felt like she had known him forever.

Ron wasn't at all like the rumors of him being a clueless shut-in for twenty years.

He felt more like a wise and humble scholar.

Who the hell wakes up after twenty years and knows this much?

Just look at Stephen standing nearby.

At first, he didn't take Ron seriously.

Now? He was watching and learning, frame by frame.

Sure, he was rich too,

And he changed women like Tony Stark did,

But when faced with a woman who didn't care about money—

He was completely out of his depth.

Ron, on the other hand, was breaking all his preconceptions about picking up women.

So that's how you do it?

So there's this much to know about makeup, food, and photography?!

Ron smiled, chatting with Gwen happily.

Then, he pretended his arm had gone stiff,

Moved it slightly—

And "accidentally" knocked a glass off the table.

The glass started falling.

Ron instinctively looked at it—

But his real focus was on Gwen.

Sure enough, her eyes were still on him,

But her body moved on instinct.

With a graceful flick of her arm,

She caught the glass mid-air.

That smooth, natural motion confirmed Ron's suspicion.

This Gwen was truly legendary!

No wonder—the closer he got, the more he noticed how flawless her skin was.

Not a single blemish.

Way beyond what most so-called beauties could compete with.

Ron smiled, a look of admiration on his face.

"Wow~ Gwen, your reflexes are amazing!"

"Sorry, I stood for too long and wasn't paying attention. Good thing you were here."

Gwen's face lit up with a happy smile.

"It's nothing."

"Talking with you is really fun, Ron."

"Wow~ I didn't even notice how much time has passed!"

She glanced at the time, her mouth slightly open in surprise.

No wonder Ron was feeling a little stiff.

They had been talking for over an hour.

Ron reached out to take the glass.

Their fingers brushed against each other.

He looked at Gwen—

And saw that she was looking back at him.

A slight blush on her cheeks, but no sign of pulling away.

Ron took the glass.

"I feel the same, Gwen. Talking to you is really enjoyable."

Stephen Strange: Oh! Noted, noted!

Ron casually set the glass down.

Then his eyes subtly shifted,

Glancing at a middle-aged man walking briskly past them.

The man was tall—at least 6'3".

He had the same long, greasy hair as Professor Snape from Harry Potter.

His face was pale, his brows furrowed slightly,

And his eyes kept scanning the area, as if looking for something.

"Ron, do you know him?" Gwen asked, noticing the man too.

Ron shook his head. "He looks familiar."

Gwen wrinkled her nose slightly and sniffed the air.

Her brows furrowed deeper.

"He's injured. Looks like he's in some kind of trouble."

Ron pretended to be surprised.

"How do you know?"

"Huh?"

Gwen blinked, then quickly explained.

"You know, I study biochemistry, and I minor in medicine."

"So, um, I just saw it. Yeah, I saw it!"

If she admitted she smelled it—

Wouldn't that freak Ron out?

Ron leaned in close to her right ear.

"You know something?"

Gwen's heart skipped a beat.

"What?"

The warmth of his breath sent tingles down her right side.

Ron smirked.

"When people lie but aren't prepared..."

"They react just like you did."

"They keep emphasizing their point, trying to convince others."

Gwen's eyes widened in shock.

She turned to look at Ron, ready to argue.

But then, she thought about what he just said.

Without thinking, she suddenly asked:

"Then... do you believe me?"
