Marvel: Devour to Evolve From Naruto

Chapter 15: Ch 15 : "Power Plays and Iron Plans"

Marvel Universe.

As soon as Ron returned, he fell into deep thought.

Before, he had treated the Naruto world as a second reality.

But now?

The Naruto world, in his eyes, was nothing more than a dungeon in a game.

Only the Marvel world—where his family and friends existed—was what truly mattered to him.

Everything else?

Just a means to gain power.

'No need to hold back anymore.'

'The space's power of restoration isn't limited to just the people I kill.'

'Even those killed by others work the same way.'

'That means I have more targets to choose from.'

'Like the Third Raikage, who's about to die in battle.'

'Or Pakura, about to be betrayed by Rasa.'

'Most importantly—Uchiha Madara, whose time is almost up!'

The energy from restoring space is directly tied to the deceased.

The more power they had before dying, the more energy would be released upon restoration.

Take Might Duy, for example. He had almost exhausted himself before death.

Despite being near a Jonin-level existence, when Ron absorbed his energy, it barely gave him Chunin-level strength.

So, Madara's withered body wouldn't provide much power either.

At most, it'd be around Jonin-level—definitely not Kage-level.

But… it would perfect his Sharingan.

Pakura's energy should be the highest.

That could push him to an entry-level Kage rank.

As for the Third Raikage—since he died from exhaustion, his energy wouldn't be much.

But he'd gain an absurdly overpowered Lightning Release.

Wait!

A thought suddenly struck Ron.

If this works on fresh corpses…

What about bodies that have been dead for a long time?

Like Senju Hashirama…

Ron's eyes darkened.

If this succeeds, then that iconic moment with Nagato and Konan? That'll be his moment now.

The Naruto timeline was already a confusing mess.

Fortunately, this was a real world.

And thanks to the memories of over a hundred people, he could roughly pinpoint the timeline.

Iwagakure and Kumogakure were already at war.

The Third Raikage's death was approaching.

Rasa was still active on the battlefield against Konoha.

Pakura was making a name for herself with her Scorch Release in the fight against Kirigakure.

The Battle of Kannabi Bridge would take place after the Third Raikage's death.

Iwagakure would invade Konoha.

Minato's squad would be deployed as reinforcements.

Uchiha Obito would be taken by Uchiha Madara.

Only after deceiving Obito into becoming his successor…

Would Madara finally end his own life, unable to bear his aging body any longer.

During all this…

There was one place worth considering.

Konoha!

...

Tony's Lab.

"Not in a good mood?"

"Want me to set you up with a pair of twins tonight?"

Tony smirked when he saw Ron walk in with a heavy expression, throwing out a teasing remark.

Ron rolled his eyes and thought deeply.

If he had a brother like Tony in his past life, he never would've been a simp.

If supermodel twins were on the table, what woman could possibly be worth chasing after?

Well… he wouldn't mind using his tongue a little, though.

He turned and poured himself a cup of coffee.

The bitter taste cleared his mind.

"Sorry."

"My plan failed."

Tony paused for a second.

It took him a moment to recall what plan Ron was even talking about.

"You mean the treatment for me?"

Ron nodded slightly.

Tony chuckled.

"I thought it was something serious."

"That's it?"

"With today's medical technology, I could be cured, but…"

He trailed off, leaving the rest unsaid.

It wasn't about medicine.

It was about his mind.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

He knew something was wrong with him.

He knew what he should do.

But if mental illness could be solved with logic, it wouldn't be a mental illness.

Ron understood, too.

Medically, it was treatable.

But there was always a chance of failure.

After witnessing an alien army and realizing powerful beings had their eyes on Earth…

Tony had developed an extreme fear of being underpowered.

Simply put—he was terrified that if he died, Earth wouldn't stand a chance.

It was a crushing pressure he placed entirely on himself.

Ron shook his head and dropped the topic.

"What about Pepper? You didn't go see her?"

"She's busy with work."

Tony looked indifferent.

"There's always someone stopping by every day."

"Some guy named Aldrich has been pestering her non-stop, trying to pitch some new product."

"Probably looking for Stark Industries to invest."

He'd seen this kind of thing countless times before.

Back when he was running the company, he wouldn't even bother acknowledging these people.

Now that Pepper was CEO, she actually paid attention to these matters.

Ron nodded.

The name sounded vaguely familiar…

But he couldn't recall who it was.

He'd have J.A.R.V.I.S. pull up the info later.

"Get me a cup of coffee too."

Tony handed his mug over.

"By the way, did you come here for something?"

Ron nodded. "I'm here to pick up the Iron Man suit."

Tony took a sip of his coffee.

"The suit's not ready yet. You'll have to wait another day."

"I'm making some adjustments to handle that world's fighters."

"It should be done by tomorrow morning."

Before, Tony didn't know much about the other world.

But now that he did, his mind was already bursting with ways to improve the armor.

Waterproof? Fireproof? That was just the basics.

Upgraded AI for better precision in tracking high-speed targets.

Enhanced combat capabilities for the AI itself.

Even if Ron wasn't wearing the suit, it could still serve as a powerful backup fighter.

And that was just the beginning of the upgrades.
