Chapter 152: Chapter 152: Odin’s Enforcer

Johnny circled around the makeshift carriage attached to his motorcycle, inspecting it closely. It looked just like a typical green train car, with a glowing, fluorescent green hue being the only unusual feature.

He knocked on it, and the sound it made was exactly like that of a tin car.

"Amazing! Truly amazing! This is the first time I've seen someone travel this way," Johnny marveled.

Han Yu's ability was indeed unique in the Marvel universe. Not everyone could manifest energy in such a tangible form. Even Odin, the All-Father, needed tools to channel his divine powers.

After all, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Odin and the people of Asgard were portrayed as highly advanced extraterrestrials. Their technology was so far beyond Earth's current capabilities that it was indistinguishable from magic to humans, making their deification inevitable.

It's like if someone brought a lighter back to the Stone Age—they'd be worshipped as a god.

"Alright, alright, stop gawking and let's get moving," Han Yu urged.

Johnny nodded, mounted his motorcycle, and revved the engine. He had no choice—he'd agreed to help them find Mephisto. At this point, running away wasn't an option.

Han Yu and Galacta's powers far surpassed what Johnny could contend with. Acting as their chauffeur was his safest option, and he wasn't foolish enough to pick a fight he couldn't win.

He had already seen what happened to Blackheart, someone Johnny had battled for a month and who, by Avengers standards, would've been considered a formidable foe.

Blackheart had been instantly defeated.

Johnny wasn't about to make the mistake of antagonizing these people. After all, they weren't here to pick a fight with him—why provoke unnecessary trouble?

Inside the carriage, Loki turned to Han Yu and asked, "Can you tell me now who exactly we're looking for? Stop keeping me in suspense—it's driving me crazy."

Loki had been pondering this the entire journey. Who could Han Yu be seeking? He'd mentioned before that the person was "originally from Asgard" and referred to them as "her," so it was a woman. But Loki couldn't think of anyone who fit that description and could help Asgard in its current crisis.

Han Yu paused for a moment before replying. "This is something I was originally going to let time resolve naturally. Asgard is destined to face a millennium-long calamity called Ragnarök. And this person—she can only be destroyed by Ragnarök."

"Ragnarök? I've heard of it. Isn't that the disaster that's supposed to destroy Asgard? Who is this person? Don't tell me it's Surtur?" Loki asked, puzzled. He continued, "But that doesn't make sense. According to Asgardian records, Ragnarök is triggered by Surtur. The records say that when Surtur's giant sword pierces Asgard, the realm will face its destruction."

"But now Surtur has already allied with the Frost Giants and the Vanir gods to destroy Asgard. Are you saying we have to accelerate Ragnarök to let them wipe out Asgard faster?"

Loki's emotions were visibly shaken, and he felt as though he'd been tricked.

The Surtur he spoke of was the leader of the Fire Giants—a being with no physical form, only a crown. If his crown were placed into the Eternal Flame stored in Asgard's treasury, he would absorb its power and become eternal, just as the flame's name suggested.

Surtur's strength derived from this Eternal Flame.

"Calm down—I'm not finished yet," Han Yu said, raising a hand to signal Loki to stay composed. Loki realized he'd gotten too worked up and nodded apologetically, motioning for Han Yu to continue.

"Thousands of years ago, when Odin was still conquering other realms, he didn't lead his armies alone. He had a powerful lieutenant by his side—a figure second only to Odin himself in strength. She was Odin's enforcer," Han Yu explained.

"Odin's enforcer? Neither Thor nor I have ever heard of such a person," Loki said, stroking his chin thoughtfully. He couldn't recall anyone by that description.

Han Yu continued, "It's natural that you've never heard of her. Back then, you and Thor hadn't even been born yet—your births were still centuries away. By the time you came along, the Nine Realms had already been unified. Odin intended to gradually pacify the remaining dissenters, but his enforcer had a different idea. She wanted to crush opposition with force, turning the Nine Realms into Asgard's slaves."

Han Yu paused briefly, giving Loki a moment to process. After about half a minute, he resumed.

"Her ambition became too great. Odin, however, couldn't bring himself to kill her, given her many achievements in battle. Instead, he exiled her to Hel, condemning her to remain there for eternity."

At this, Loki nodded but then asked, "But if she's been imprisoned for so long, why would she even care about Asgard anymore? If anything, I'd think her first move would be to destroy Asgard once she's free."

Han Yu chuckled and replied, "You're not entirely wrong. If she were released, she would definitely cause upheaval in Asgard. But she wouldn't destroy it."

"Why not?" Loki asked.

"Because she's Odin's firstborn, his eldest daughter—and your and Thor's sister!"

Loki's eyes widened in shock. A sister? He had never heard of having a sister, and he was sure Thor didn't know either. With Thor's straightforward nature, such a secret could never have been kept from him.

"Are you serious?"

Loki's voice trembled slightly. To think he and Thor had an older sister—and one who had once been Odin's enforcer!

Each All-Father had a direct enforcer—a position of immense power, second only to the king himself. That Odin never had an enforcer had always been a mystery.

Both Loki and Thor had asked Odin about this before. But their father would always remain silent or gaze off into the distance.

Back then, they assumed no suitable candidate had been found. But now, it all made sense. It wasn't that there hadn't been a candidate—there had been one, but Odin himself had banished her to Hel, never to return.

"Of course it's true. Why else would I go through all this trouble to venture into Hel? Her strength is immense. If she were here now, she could easily claim the throne of Asgard. Her power stems directly from Asgard itself," Han Yu explained.

"As long as Asgard exists, she has an endless source of energy. That kind of strength is truly formidable."

Loki silently nodded, massaging his temples as he absorbed Han Yu's words. After a moment, he asked, "This enforcer... our sister... what's her name?"

"Hela. The Goddess of Death. Hela," Han Yu answered.

The moment he said the name, the carriage jolted to a sudden stop, almost causing everyone to slide out of their seats.

Simultaneously, Johnny's voice called out from outside.

"You're looking for Hela?!"
