Chapter 25: The Black-Classes
Tanya's body lay motionless on the bloodstained ground.
Her once confident grin was gone.
Leon barely had time to process it.
BANG!
A bullet whizzed past his ear.
His instincts kicked in.
He rolled to the side, dodging another shot.
A terrorist in a black mask rushed him.
Leon gritted his teeth and drew his knife.
SLASH!
The blade cut deep into the enemy's throat.
Blood splattered onto Leon's face.
But there was no time to think.
Another terrorist charged.
Leon spun, dodged, and stabbed.
The man screamed before collapsing.
The third enemy raised a gun.
BANG!
Leon ducked, barely avoiding a headshot.
He lunged forward and slammed his knife into the terrorist's chest.
Three down.
But before he could move.
BANG!
A bullet ripped through his leg.
Pain exploded through his body.
Leon collapsed, gasping.
"Shit… I got careless."
The terrorists swarmed in, forcing the remaining students to surrender.
Leon's hands were tied behind his back as he was dragged into the hostage zone.
The survivors—barely a dozen students—knelt on the ground, faces pale with fear.
A terrorist commander stepped forward, raising his rifle.
"The Academy dies today."
Leon's breath hitched.
The barrel of the gun pointed at him.
This is it.
This is how he dies.
…Or so he thought.
Because, just before the commander pulled the trigger—
A red blur tore through the battlefield.
BOOM!
The ground shattered as something massive slammed down from the sky.
A man in crimson armor stood in the center of the destruction.
His fist was embedded into the ground, the shockwave sending terrorists flying.
His voice was cold.
"Behemoth. Engaging."
The terrorists opened fire.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
It did nothing.
Behemoth moved like a force of nature.
One punch crushed a man's ribcage.
A single step cracked the ground.
He grabbed a tank turret and ripped it off with his bare hands.
Terrorists screamed.
And just as the enemies tried to regroup—
A blue light engulfed the battlefield.
BOOM!
A massive energy shield formed, blocking all bullets.
A woman in elegant blue robes floated above the battlefield, hands glowing.
Her voice was calm.
"Leviathan. Barrier deployed."
The terrorists' bullets bounced off harmlessly.
They turned to retreat.
BANG!
A single arrow pierced through three skulls at once.
From a distance, a green-cloaked archer smirked, his bow glowing.
He pulled back another shot.
"Ziz. Kill confirmed."
Leon's breath caught.
The Black Classes had arrived.
