Shortly before the ambush, Ke Qing's POV.

Ke Qing, the Jade Balance Qixing, has not easily assumed her position at such a young age. Her intelligence and high efficiency are almost unmatched, and even now, despite the storm of emotions raging inside her, she is still completely devoted to her work, planning future changes to the port, as well as making the necessary adjustments in view of the future. However, you are a married woman, so I think the customer won't mind if we have a little fun along the way. - Even with the mask on her face, she seemed to see how he licked his lips obscenely, causing disgust to rise from the very depths, however, it was already clear that a battle was inevitable, which meant it was time to begin.

Turning to the energy inside herself, she was going to finish everything quickly. Such a rabble would only need one use of the elemental explosion, but when she tried to shift the energy, her eyes widened in realization.

- POISON?! Damn it! - Ke Qing cursed, angry at herself for delaying. Her control over elemental energy had weakened so much that even moving through space with an elemental skill was out of the question, let alone causing an elemental explosion, however, if they thought that even with such crumbs of control as now, she was harmless, then they were deeply mistaken.

She suddenly rushed towards the leader, planning to quickly finish him off, but two giants immediately stood in her way, who seemed to be planning to easily overpower the weakened opponent, for which they immediately paid. Their seemingly incredibly strong heaps of muscles were cut through like butter by a blade on which the energy of electro barely flickered.

Two fountains of blood shot up into the sky before two horizontally split bodies fell to the ground, and in the meantime Ke Qing did not stop her movement.

- Damn, the aphrodisiac has not yet worked at full strength. - the leader cursed. - Throw potions! We need to hold her off until she weakens!

Potions filled with hydro and cryo immediately flew at Ke Qing. With truly catlike grace, she dodged such dangerous projectiles for her and approached her next target. This treasure thief confidently met her with a sword strike, hoping to knock her down with brute force, but how could a mere bandit compete with one of Li Yue's best swordswomen? Easily deflecting the enemy's blade to the side, she ripped open his belly with one movement, mentally noting that Yun Che had become better with a sword after a week of training, however, this thought only flashed for a moment, not slowing down the real death machine in the form of a short girl at all.

She dodged and slashed, purposefully cutting out the potion makers, sensibly judging that they were more dangerous to her, because if they caused a freezing reaction on her, it would be the end for her, and what's worse, the more she fought, the more she noticed that this was not just poison. Excitement was rising from the depths, and control over energy was already completely lost, she fought using only the skills that she had honed her entire conscious life.

Here, a flask filled with hydroelement concentrate managed to hit her, but there was no one to set the reaction in motion, and in the end, only the blood was washed off her. Having finished off the last potion maker, she stopped for a while, holding herself up with a blade stuck in the ground.

Unfortunately, no one was going to give her a break, as new opponents were already flying at her.

- Get the hell away from my wife! - the newcomer growled, and then, pulling out the catalyst they had recently acquired, he used the elemental explosion for the first time. Ke Qing watched as the thorn-covered vines that had neutralized her recent opponents quickly grew from the ground, and finally allowed herself to relax.

"He came," the girl muttered in relief, watching her husband hurry toward her.
