Chapter 9: First Condition
Priscoll arrived at the warehouse at midnight to meet Wendy, unaware that Kim was following him. As he entered, Wendy hugged him from behind, making him jump. "You startled me," Priscoll said sharply.
Wendy tried to kiss him, but he refused. "Wendy, I'm not joking. Where is Joanna?" he demanded.
Wendy's eyes welled up with tears, and she began to sob. "Priscoll, you called me by my name, and she's your wife?" she cried.
Priscoll's expression remained stern. "I want to see her," he said sharply.
Wendy smiled, wiping away her tears. "I have a condition for that," she said, grinning mischievously.
"What is your condition?" Priscoll asked, his voice firm.
Wendy lit a cigarette and took a drag. "I want us to spend a night together at my place," she said, running her hand over his exposed chest.
Priscoll slapped her hand away and looked around nervously. "I thought I told you to stop smoking?" he said, taking the cigarette from her and crushing it under his foot.
Wendy laughed. "You still care about me, right?" she teased
"Is that your Condition huh?"
As Wendy spoke, Kim watched from the shadows, her heart racing with anger and concern for Joanna's safety. She was determined to uncover the truth and rescue Joanna.
Kim didn't intervene; instead, she turned and left, her mind racing with questions and concerns.Priscoll, turned to Wendy and said,
"Let's go to your house."
As they arrived at Wendy's house, she began kissing Priscoll passionately at the doorway. Priscoll, seemingly entranced, returned her kisses, his hands roaming over her body.
It was intense and intimate, with Wendy's hands tangled in Priscoll's hair and his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. The kisses grew more fervent, and they stumbled into the house, still entwined.
As the night wore on, Priscoll found himself losing track of time. Wendy's touch was intoxicating, and he couldn't get enough of her. They moved from the couch to the bedroom, their bodies entwined in a passionate dance.
Wendy's laughter echoed through the room as Priscoll showered her with attention, his hands and lips exploring every inch of her skin. She was a seductress, and he was under her spell.
But even as he surrendered to the pleasure, a nagging voice in the back of his mind reminded him of Joanna. He pushed the thought away, telling himself he would deal with the guilt later.
For now, he was lost in the thrill of the moment, his senses overwhelmed by Wendy's touch. She was a master of seduction, and he was her willing captive.
As the night wore on, Priscoll found himself wondering how he had ever resisted her charms for so long. He was having the time of his life, and he didn't want it to end.
The next morning, Priscoll woke up with a sense of urgency. He turned to Wendy, who was still sleeping beside him, and shook her awake.
"Where's Joanna?" he demanded.
Wendy opened her eyes, a sly smile spreading across her face.
"I'm not telling you," she said, her voice husky.
Priscoll's eyes narrowed. "I need to know where she is," he insisted.
Wendy laughed, a throaty sound. "You're not going anywhere until you give me what I want," she said, her hand reaching out to touch him.
Priscoll pulled away, his mind racing. "I'm not going to fall for that again," he said, trying to sound firm.
But Wendy's touch was like a spark to dry tinder. Despite his best intentions, Priscoll felt himself responding to her. "Just one more time," she whispered, her lips brushing against his ear.
Priscoll knew he should resist, but his body betrayed him. He gave in to her demands, losing himself in the passion of the moment.
As they finished, Priscoll knew he had made another mistake. He had to get away from Wendy and find Joanna before it was too late.
But as he tried to leave, Wendy's expression turned cold. "You're not going anywhere," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "You're mine now."
Priscoll was shocked when Wendy said that. He stood up immediately and started shouting at her. "We made a deal, and you have to tell me where Joanna is!" he exclaimed.
Wendy rolled her eyes and waved her hand dismissively. "Babe, come on. She's not important."
Priscoll's face turned red with anger. "Wendy, I'm not in the mood for this. Tell me where Joanna is, now!"
Wendy's expression turned cold, and she sat up, her eyes flashing with anger. "You're not in charge here, Priscoll. I am. And I'll tell you where Joanna is when I'm good and ready."
Priscoll's fists clenched, and he took a step closer to Wendy. "You're playing with fire, Wendy. I'm warning you."
Wendy just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "You're not scary, Priscoll. You're just a pawn in my game. And pawns are meant to be used."
Priscoll's eyes narrowed his anger flared again, and he slapped Wendy across the face, his hand leaving a red mark on her cheek. "Tell me where Joanna is," he demanded, his voice cold and menacing.
Wendy's eyes flashed with defiance, and she spat at his feet. "I'll never tell you," she hissed. "I'd rather die than tell you where she is"
Priscoll's face twisted in rage, and he raised his hand to slap her again. But Wendy didn't flinch. Instead, she looked him straight in the eye and said, "Go ahead. Kill me. I'll never tell you."
Priscoll's hand hesitated, and for a moment, he saw something in Wendy's eyes that gave him pause. But his anger and desperation soon took over, and he slapped her again, harder this time.
Wendy's head snapped back, and she fell to the floor, unconscious. Priscoll stood over her, his chest heaving with rage, but he knew he had to get out of there. He had to find another way to find Joanna.
Priscoll's anger slowly faded, replaced by a mix of confusion and frustration. He looked down at Wendy, who was still lying on the floor, her eyes fixed on him with an unnerving intensity.
"What do you want from me?" he asked again, his voice softer this time.
Wendy's gaze never wavered. "I just want you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Priscoll was taken aback. He had expected her to ask for something in exchange for Joanna's location, but instead, she just wanted him.
"Why?" he asked, trying to understand her motivations.
Wendy's smile was faint, but it sent a shiver down Priscoll's spine. "Because you're mine," she said. "And I'll do whatever it takes to keep you."
Priscoll felt a chill run down his spine as he realized the true extent of Wendy's obsession. He knew he had to get away from her, but he also knew that he couldn't leave without finding out where Joanna was.
he pulled her close to himself and kissed her, Wendy pushed him away, her expression unyielding. "I'll never tell you," she said, her voice firm.
Priscoll knew he had to think fast. He couldn't get anything out of Wendy, and time was running out. He needed a new plan.
"I need to meet Kim," he said suddenly, remembering the mysterious figure who had been helping him. Wendy's eyes narrowed. he turned and walked away, determined to find Kim and get the help he needed to rescue Joanna.
Wendy's laughter followed him out of the room, but Priscoll didn't look back. He knew he had to move fast if he was going to save Joanna.
