Chapter 7: Another side of wendy
We arrived at the hospital, and just as we were about to see the doctor, Priscoll received an emergency call from his company. He had to leave me alone in the hospital and rush to the company. I couldn't believe it, could it be that important?
''Joanna, I'll be back to check on you, please take care of yourself. I need to hurry to the company, but I'll be back, I promise,'' he said, and left in a hurry.
When the doctor came in, he saw the reaction on my skin. there were spots all over my body. He asked me what had caused the reaction, and I told him that I was allergic to perfume. He called the nurse in and instructed them to get something to apply to me to stop the reaction.
The nurse quickly arrived with a cream to apply to my skin, and the doctor instructed me to rest for a while. I was feeling frustrated and abandoned by Priscoll's sudden departure, but I tried to focus on my health.
As the hours passed, I waited for Priscoll to return, but he never did. I was discharged from the hospital, and as I was trying to figure out how to get home, I was suddenly kidnapped.
I was dragged into a dark van, and everything went black.
When I woke up, I was in a strange room, with no sign of Priscoll or anyone else I knew. I was alone and scared, wondering what had happened to me and why I had been taken.
Meanwhile, Priscoll was still at the company, oblivious to the danger I was in. He had promised to return to the hospital and take care of me, but now I was gone, and he had no idea where I was.
I tried to struggle and break free, but my hands and feet were tied to a chair. A figure emerged from the shadows, and I saw that it was Wendy, Priscoll's mistress.
"You're the reason Priscoll doesn't love me," Wendy spat, her eyes blazing with anger. "You're the reason he's so distracted."
I tried to reason with her, but she wouldn't listen. She kept talking, her words dripping with venom.
"You think you're so special, don't you? You think you're the only one who deserves Priscoll's love."
Meanwhile, I had no idea that Priscoll was on his way back to the hospital, worried about my condition. But when he arrived, the doctor told him that I had already been discharged and gone home.
Priscoll was relieved that I was okay, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. He decided to head home and check on me.
Little did he know, I was not safe at home. I was still being held captive by Wendy, who was growing more and more unhinged by the minute.
I was terrified, and I didn't know how much longer I could hold on. I just hoped that Priscoll would find me before it was too late.
"please wendy I want to go home whatever you want me to do I will do it for you, just let me go"
"Then you have to divorce priscoll, it's simple but I can't allow you to go, I know that you will not do it for me, I know you will prefer to die than to divorce my heartbeat, I love him so much, just stay away from him, well he will be worried now" Wendy laughed
"I don't want to die, just want to go home, please let me go" I said with tears and she slapped me.
"I don't want to hear a word from you again just shut up"
Priscoll rushed home, anxious to see me, but I was nowhere to be found. He searched every room, calling out my name, but there was only silence. He tried calling my phone, but it went straight to voicemail. Panic set in as he realized I was truly gone.
Desperate for answers, Priscoll called my parents, but they told him I hadn't come home and they had no idea where I was. He decided to drive around and look for me, but his worry and haste led to a terrible accident. The next morning, he woke up in the hospital, groggily remembering the events of the previous night.
As he tried to sit up, a young doctor entered the room. " I see you're awake. How are you feeling?" he asked.
Priscoll's eyes widened in surprise. "Caldo? What are you doing here? I thought you were in England."
Caldo smiled. "I was, but I was transferred to this hospital. I'm working here now."
Priscoll's confusion turned to shock. "My god, I didn't know that. I thought you went to England like you told me before."
Caldo nodded. "I changed my plans. But what about you? What happened to you?"
Priscoll sighed, rubbing his temples. "I was looking for my wife. She's missing."
Caldo's expression turned serious. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear that. What happened?"
Priscoll filled him in on the events of the previous night, and Caldo listened intently. "We need to call the police and report her missing," Caldo said sharply.
Just then, the main doctor entered the room. " you're awake. How are you feeling now?"
Priscoll tried to sit up again, but a wave of pain washed over him.
"I... I think I'll be okay. But I need to find my wife."
The main doctor nodded sympathetically.
"We'll do everything we can to help you, but first, you need to focus on your recovery. You were lucky to survive that accident."
Priscoll nodded, feeling a mix of relief and frustration. He was grateful to be alive, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that time was running out to find me.
Caldo stepped forward.
"I'll help you, Priscoll. We'll find your wife. But for now, you need to rest."
Priscoll nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Caldo. He knew he could count on him.
As the nurses continued to tend to Priscoll's injuries, he couldn't help but think of me. Where was I? Was I safe? He knew he had to find me, no matter what it took.
Meanwhile, I was still being held captive by Wendy, who was growing more and more unhinged by the minute. I knew I had to escape, but I didn't know how.
As the hours ticked by, Priscoll's determination to find me only grew stronger. He knew he would stop at nothing to rescue me and bring me home safely.
But little did he know, Wendy had a few tricks up her sleeve, and she would do everything in her power to keep me captive. The battle for my freedom was far from over.
