Luffy Twin Brother: The Monkey King

Chapter 18: Chapter 18

"Bye, old man! Next time, bring just one ship!" Kong laughed mockingly, his voice echoing across the ocean as he vanished into the clouds, leaving behind a fleet of stunned Marines.

For a long moment, nobody spoke. Nobody moved. The sheer absurdity of what had just happened left them all frozen in disbelief. Then… A loud, booming laugh shattered the silence.

"Gahahaha!" Garp threw his head back, roaring with laughter, his shoulders shaking as if this were the funniest thing he had ever seen.

Meanwhile, the blindfolded man, who had earlier reminded Garp to bring Kong in, laid back quietly, his expression unreadable. He had removed his blindfold for the first time, his sharp eyes following Kong's fading figure.

"What an odd Devil Fruit…" he muttered, almost to himself. His gaze shifted slightly, catching movement in the sky. Not far off, a hot air balloon floated above the fleet. Inside, a bird-like man was furiously snapping photos, his camera clicking away with feverish excitement.

The blindfolded man sighed, already knowing things were going to get troublesome.

"Alright, we should lay low for a while after that," Kong said, arms crossed as he glanced at his crew, who were clinging to the ship in horror. The descent was anything but graceful, and the landing was shaping up to be disastrous.

"They're not idiots. They won't fall for the same trick twice," he added with a smirk. His crew, however, was too terrified to respond, their wide eyes locked on the rapidly approaching ocean below.

Kong rolled his eyes. Just before the ship could crash into the sea, he moved. With a swift motion, he stretched his body beneath the ship, his limbs expanding to insane proportions.

The moment the vessel hit the water, Kong absorbed the full force of the impact, his elastic body cushioning the blow like a massive shock absorber.

The violent crash became nothing more than a gentle drop as Kong transformed the impact into a harmless ripple across the ocean.

And when the dust, or rather, the water—settled… There he stood. On the ocean's surface. A massive ship balanced on his back, which he threw to the side before jumping back onto the ship.

'I can't wait to get useful crewmate…' Kong thought, unimpressed as his so-called crew continued to panic over every little thing.

"Boss, there's a kingdom in the New World that's caught in a civil war. We could lay low there and come up with a plan," one of the pirates suggested.

Kong nodded, letting them lead the way. But just two days later, The Marines found him again. This time, running wasn't an option.

Kong couldn't just grab the ship and throw it into the air like last time. The fleet was larger and was well spread out to counter such a movement.

So instead, He let loose his aura. A wave of pressure exploded outward, sweeping through the enemy ranks like a storm. The weaker Marines collapsed instantly, their bodies hitting the deck unconscious. Before the others could react, Kong moved.

With a powerful leap, he launched himself onto the lead Marine ship, slamming down in the middle of the deck. Instantly, the other Marine captains shifted their attention away from his crew And turned it toward him.

As the entire fleet focused on taking him down, Kong's crew took the opening to escape.

Like that, Kong was locked in battle against three Vice Admirals—each one a force to be reckoned with.

His teeth clenched as he narrowly dodged a bladed leg that sliced through the air beside him. The attack came from Onigumo, a Marine who had apparently eaten a spider-type Devil Fruit. His extra limbs moved with eerie precision, forcing Kong to stay on the defensive.

At the same time, Momonga closed in from the side, his blade gleaming as he swung with deadly precision.

And then there was Dalmatian, whose Devil Fruit allowed him to transform into a hound.

Kong was losing. For some reason, these Marines ignored the usual Logia-type immunity. A Logia user shouldn't be able to be touched by normal attacks—yet their punches, their swords, their very movements could harm him.

They weren't using Sea Stone, either. It was something else. Kong barely had time to think about it as Momonga's sword came down.

His instincts took over. Kong moved fast, his fist meeting the blade in a violent clash. Sparks erupted from the impact as he forced the sword back. He had increased the density of his fist, preventing the blade from slicing through him like butter.

Kong, slowed by the increased density of his own body, was barely able to block the relentless barrage from Onigumo's multiple arms. His entire body was hardened, playing a defensive role rather than an offensive one.

He moved, but just barely—dodging Dalmatian's lightning-fast strike, yet still feeling the sharp sting as the attack grazed his skin. The Vice Admiral's finger was like a bullet, its speed nearly impossible to track.

Gritting his teeth, Kong forced Onigumo back, creating just enough space to breathe, But he had no time to recover. Momonga's blade came next, slicing through the air, forcing Kong to twist away. Only for Onigumo's spider-like limbs to strike at his exposed side.

Kong barely managed to block, Just as Dalmatian's clawed finger drove straight into his arm. Blood dripped down his skin.

His mind raced. He was fast, but not fast enough against all three. They were coordinated. Skilled.

Even after analyzing their movements, and understanding their fighting style, thanks to the fact every block he faced was equal to him facing it 100 times, Kong still found himself outmatched. And with every injury stacking up, the battle was only growing harder.

"Fuck this!" Kong roared in frustration, and in an instant, Extra limbs burst from his body. Like whips of solid muscle, they shot outward, slamming into Momonga and Dalmatian before they could react.

The force behind them was immense—enough that the two Vice Admirals were forced back, struggling to block the unexpected attack. These new limbs were unnaturally dense, hardened to the point that every strike felt like getting hit by iron clubs.

Kong gritted his teeth, feeling the strain of pushing his Devil Fruit beyond what he had ever attempted before. He had never even considered creating extra limbs—but after seeing Onigumo's technique, he figured, Why not?

But controlling them was another beast entirely. Every movement was awkward, every limb difficult to coordinate. Still, It bought him an opening. And he took it.

Without hesitation, Kong kicked off the Marine ship, launching himself toward the sea, And before the Marines could react, He was already running across the water, his form a blur as he bolted after his escaping crew.

Kong collapsed backward, letting one of the ship's doctors tend to his wounds. His body ached, his mind replaying the battle over and over. He had been too cocky.
