Leon pushed Muging gently, and the two of them fell on the bed; Leon supported himself with both hands, so he didn't put all his weight on Muging.

Shouts of soldiers echoed several as hurried footsteps filled the deserted road of Broken Sword Town for a while as all the soldiers who were either resting in inns or patrolling the streets rushed toward the source of the voices.
The private forces from the various families also moved out as well, the empty roads of the town were suddenly crowded with people as if there was a festival being held.
In Muging's room, Leon and Muging froze as they stared at each other. It took them a while to understand what was going on, the beasts were attacking!
"Junior brother, we should get ready to go out too" Muging whispered softly to Leon when she saw that he wasn't planning to free her from under him.
Leon's head snapped back to reality, and he quickly got up from Muging; on his face was a twisted expression; he was feeling incredibly angry at the moment.
'Damned beasts, you just had to attack now of all times? Just wait for me, I'll make sure to kill all of you!' Leon roared angrily in his mind.

Heavy knocks suddenly sounded from outside Muging's door.
"Muging, are you in there? Hurry up and come out, the beasts are here!"
It was Feifei's voice!
Muging turned to answer and Leon immediately took the chance to transform into his cat form and leave through the window. He could have left in his human form but this would avoid any suspicion in case he was seen.
Leon returned back to his room just in time before someone banged on his door heavily, it was Rongyu.
She called out to Leon and ordered him to meet them outside quickly.
Leon quickly changed into a new robe and grabbed his sword before rushing out to meet with the others.
He arrived a while earlier than Muging, the woman blushed and looked down when her gaze crossed with Leon's.
No one else noticed this.
"Everyone's here, let's go!" Feifei voiced out, they all rushed out of the inn and mixed with the crowd of soldiers rushing toward the walls.
They separated after getting closer and closer to the gate, they leaped and began to run on the roofs of houses.
After running for a few more seconds, the seven of them landed on the tall wall where some other soldiers were standing.
The soldiers immediately cupped their hands and greeted them, Rongyu stepped forward before asking about the situation.
"The beasts are currently attacking from two points this time, the south and the north. Their numbers are estimated to reach two thousand and will soon reach the wall"
The soldier reported.
Rongyu didn't reply, the seven of them turned to stare into the distance.
Due to the brightness of the moon, they were able to see miles into the distance.
They were unable to see the figures of the beasts properly because of the cover of the trees, but they could see their outlines as they rushed through the forest, bending trees and causing them to shake vigorously.
The space of the tremor covered thousands of meters as they moved closer and closer to the wall, they could easily tell that the number of beasts surpassed three thousand.
Leon's face was expressionless as he stared, he was feeling shocked inwardly.

He was previously feeling furious because the arrival of the beasts interrupted what he was doing but now that he saw their large numbers, he could not help but want to let bygones be bygones.
"Feifei, Leon, Linxu, and Wanxu will stay here to assist the soldiers, Yue and Muging will follow me to the southern wall"
Rongyu voiced out before running in the direction of the southern wall, Muging and Yue closely followed behind her.
More soldiers and fighters of the various families soon arrived, and the number of people on the wall quickly surpassed a hundred.
