John 3:18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
He dashed forward and struck her in the gut so hard her feet lifted off the ground from the impact. The last thing she heard before passing out was him saying: "Sorry, but you're not my type."
The other villains jumped back in fear. They hadn't even been able to react. One moment he was feet away. The next his baton was already buried deep in her guts without them being able to do anything about it.
Before they could even take any actions he had already moved on to a second target with a spinning kick to his temple. Using them as a platform he kicked off sending their unconscious body tumbling to the ground and launching himself towards the third villain. He swung his baton taking him out with a vicious strike to the head.
It only took a few seconds for the villains to regroup, but a quarter of their group had already been eliminated in a blink of the eye.
"Stay back!" one of them yelled.
"It wasn't supposed to be like this," another said.
Panic was already starting to spread amongst them.
"Don't hog all the fun," Himiko said.
"We'll help too," Izuku said.
James' classmates had finally caught up and joined the fight, each taking on one villain for themselves while he moved on to the villains that were still attacking Kyoka and Denki.
One of the villains was running at Denki while another was taking a swipe from the other side at Kyoka. They did their best to remain back to back and fend off the attacks.
James kept running and jumped on one of the villains shoulder. He pushed off hard causing him to cry out in pain and stumble. James spread his wings soaring over Denki and Kyoka landing on the face of the villain attacking her foot first.
The villain stumbled back onto the ground, James' foot grinding his head into the dirt.
"Argh!" the villain yelled out in pain.
James' looked back at Kyoka with a smirk. "Need any help?" He asked.
He could see the relief in her eyes. "Yes!" She yelled out so stressed she couldn't even think about returning his banter.
One of the villains jumped James from behind while they were talking and wrapped his arms around him to hold him in place.
"I've got him," he yelled excitedly.
James chuckled. His wings spread with enough force to break the villains arms.
The villain cried out in pain.
James looked at him with a quirked eyebrow. "And now you don't..." he said mockingly.
He pushed off from the one whose face he was standing on. If his nose wasn't broken already it definitely was now. He gracefully spun around striking the last two villain in Kyoka's half of the encirclement. Dislocating the jaw of one and sending both flying back, down for the count.
He sighed inwardly. 'These grunts are so weak I'm not even able to have any fun,' he thought.
He smiled and looked back at Kyoka. "Now that we've taken care of these rude interruptions. How are you holding up?" he asked.
Now that the pressure was finally relieved she couldn't help but blush. "I-I'm fine now," she said nervously.
Denki cried out from behind her interrupting the moment.
"Oh yeah, there's him too," James said.
He dashed forward. Kyoka's blush deepened seeing him approach her so seriously until he passed by her and struck the forehead of one of the villains attacking Denki behind her preventing a serious blow from taking him out.
The classmates that had come along with James finally finished off the villains they were facing and joined them making easy work of the last few that were left attacking Denki.
Denki was struggling just to stay upright. "Man, you really saved my ass. Oh I'm a little lightheaded," he said with an awkward smile.
Izuku was sporting a wide smile.
James shook his head. 'Damn hero-con," he thought.
He quickly smiled though. "I'm glad we were able to make it in time. Are you both ok?" He asked, feigning concern.
"Do you need any treatment?" Tsuyu asked.
They both shook their heads, though Denki far less convincingly.
He did his best to try to maintain a strong facade, but the strain could be seen in his expression. "I'm fine," he said.
James patted him on the shoulder causing him to wince. "Alright. No need to try so hard. Are you still good to fight or would you rather try to find somewhere safe to hide until this all blows over?" He asked.
Denki shook his head. "I'm still good to go," he said.
Momo ran over to Kyoka, giving her a good look up and down with a concerned look before hugging her tightly. "What about you Jiro-san?" She asked.
She smiled slightly. "I'm fine too," she said.
"We're going around saving the other classmates. Will you join us?" Izuku asked.
He looked nervous that they might decline and added: "The more of us there are the safer we should be! They split us up for a reason after all!"
Kyoka and Denki looked at each other and nodded.
James chuckled and shot a playful look at Kyoka. "Good, the more the merrier," he said.
"R-right," she responded nervously.
"Then let's get moving, ribbit," Tsuyu said.
He skipped the ruins zone as during his initial flight he had already noticed no one had been transported there likely due to his own influence. That left just the Downpour zone that he couldn't look into due to it being covered like the Conflagration zone.
They had to carefully sneak around the USJ to not gather the attention of more villains while they tried to make it there. There was only so much that could be done to sneak now that their group had grown to ten so he had to take out some of the villains they couldn't avoid slowing them down further.
They finally saw the entrance to the Downpour zone approach.
