Darwinism
I've been flying or running or riding Zuko towards Megumin's Divine Realm with my fake alchemy face for a while now.
I was thinking of stopping by my father on the way, but he would definitely make a big deal out of Kurumi.
Well, the biggest reason is Azula actually.
I can't visit my father with my fake face and I doubt Azula would just ignore me if she saw me.
I'm not 100 percent sure, but she's probably at the Earth Kingdom right now, trying to conquer them from the inside. That's partly why I forced Aang to leave with me. It would be seriously troublesome if he comes to the Earth Kingdom that's already conquered by Azula.
Anyways, I'm not taking chances. It hasn't been long since I last saw my father anyway, it should be fine.
What I'm trying to figure out right now is, should I go to the Wan Shi Tong's library right now, or after a little break?
I kinda want to settle down a little bit and practice and improve myself.
Using Lightbending was fun, next is Plasmabending.
I also want to reach the top limit of Pinnacle level firebending.
Yeah, just the peak, nothing further than that for now.
I have a feeling that, no matter how strong I get, I can only ascend by getting a skill into the Godly realms, which means that I would ascend after reaching a Godly realm in firebending skill.
I mean, that's how it should work, right?
If I want to be a Fire God, I should have firebending skills that transcend the mortal realms.
At least that's what my logic tells me.
I still have ideas to try out that I just never really put time into until now.
I still haven't learned heat bending for example.
I didn't learn it until now because it sounds boring and mostly useless, but it could help me and reduce my debuffs on a cold environment. I could bend the heat around me and create an artificial hot place that spans like 1 or 2 meters around me for example.
It wasn't much trouble in the last battle, but it was still annoying. It might be deadly against an opponent that surpasses me.
I have waterbending scrolls to study that I haven't studied yet.
I still have some dragon corpses lying around on my inventory, waiting for me to actually learn the art of blacksmithing.
I was going to learn it before going to Northern Water Tribe, but I was too preoccupied with alchemy back then. I want to learn blacksmithing now, not only for myself but also for my family.
I can leave strong artifacts that nobody can find in this world and amazing elixirs people couldn't even imagine, solely for my family to use.
I have so many ideas to explore that are currently living rent-free in my brain, it's maddening.
On the other hand, I have to visit Wan Shi Tong before Aang annoys him into becoming a Neet.
''What are you thinking?'' Kurumi said as she poked my cheek with a pout.
Since we're on Zuko right now, she doesn't get to act the way she wants to, and I refuse to change that.
''Not much.''
''...''
''We are about to meet Megumin.''
''Hm.''
''Do you remember what I told you?''
''Don't be horny?''
''Exactly. I don't like restraining how you act like that but you're a guest, if you make Megumin uncomfortable, you're out instantly.''
''Okay.''
Thankfully she calmed down a little bit. I was afraid that her whole personality would go around her being horny and a huge masochist.
Thankfully, it wasn't like that. She still likes it and occasionally does stupid shit to get punished, but it's not her personality.
Turns out, she was like that before only because she just discovered her... nature? Is that the right word for it? Yeah, her true nature as a massive maso.
At that point, Kurumi was like a 13 year old boy who discovered masturbation for the first time in his life.
I did good by not indulging her, if not, spirits forbid, she might have been addicted to it by now.
She's like Darkness from Konosuba right now. Crazy, but not extremely so.
After some more traveling, we finally arrived to the place I left Megumin's Divine Realm.
If she didn't move around, it should still be here.
''Knock Knock'' I deadpan to nothing.
Soon, a circular door opens.
I move in while making sure Kurumi follows properly, you know, without a creepy smile or shaky legs.
Spirits, I'm going to have PTSD because of her, I shouldn't care this much, I really shouldn't...
'Maybe, just maybe, I can listen to Glai...'
Nope.

Azula grinned as she re-read the document in her hand.
''He has a cute face and didn't use blue flames? Doesn't sound like him, but it doesn't matter. Even if he tries to hide, he can't disguise himself from me.''
''How many young people are there in the world, who can beat ME? I used to think the number was zero, but only one person proved me wrong. There's no way that there's more than just one person who can be equal to my talent.''
Her fists clenched.
''We will get a re-match. A proper duel. An Agni-Kai! I wasn't prepared previously, this time I will be.''
Deep down, she knew that she was just making excuses.
She actually thought that he hid his abilities to make her let her guard down. A sneaky tactic, but it was still a tactic.
She wouldn't blame him for something like that, in fact, she would praise him for using every resource in his hands. Unfortunately, she unconsciously pressed down those thoughts to keep her pride intact.
''You helped the avatar? Good, good, good.''
She was just on her way to conquer the Earth Kingdom and the Avatar was most likely going towards the Earth Kingdom.
It was widely known that Avatar was an airbender from his origin.
He had already learned waterbending from the Northern Water Tribe.
He most likely learned firebending from that mysterious guy.
His next quest would be learning earthbending.
'He's probably still with the Avatar, traveling along with him while teaching him firebending. Avatar is most likely going towards the Earth Kingdom to get a teacher for his earthbending. This will be three birds with one stone.'
She nodded to herself with a smug grin.
Her plan was perfect.
She would defeat him, conquer the Earth Kingdom, and capture the Avatar.
'That solves the problem about the royal family's lineage.'
The royal family was made out of the most superior genes and as the next heir, it was her duty to find a suitable partner with the highest quality genes for herself.
Her father taught her about this thoroughly.
'A man isn't worthy of me if he can't beat even beat me.'
But since she was so talented, she would have to make do with this guy who had almost equal talent with her.
With their combined genes, they would create the most incredible children!
'Yes... it's all coming together.' Her grin widened silently.
