Squigly didn't recognize the guy in front of her and from what she can tell he looks at least 16 to 17 which will make him older than her because she was 14 when she died but she now mentally matured but even she wasn't what to make of him he gives off a strong presence like that of the skullgirl.

Leviathan: who are you....a follower of the skullgirl?

Squigly: huh you don't about the skullgirl?

Max: that's the first time I hear about it came here because I felt a presence of two beings in one but looks like you are not a brain dead zombie which I'm glad because I wouldn't have like it If I had to kill you.

Leviathan: I don't whether that's a threat or a compliment.

Max: okay that's sexist I mean yeah don't think a skullguy running around isn't any better but males can do much more damage than females if given the chance.

Squigly giggled at Max's words a skullguy the name sounded funny but if both man and woman can get the skull heart it would be a disaster.

Max: but I'm assuming there is more to this skull heart not just getting a wish and I'm also guessing it can't be destroyed easily.

Squigly let out a sigh of defeat and she was quiet and leviathan decided to speak on her behalf.

Leviathan: you assume correctly the skull heart corrupts the woman that made a wish in the skull heart and it would fuse with them becoming a skullgirl and they have dangerous abilities.

Max: how dangerous.

Leviathan: Imagine an army of the dead with skeletons and all and the skullgirl can modify her soldiers into even bigger ones and they have high durability and to take down a skullgirl you need special weapons or a powerful parasite.

max wasn't surprised by this but he was curious on seeing the power of the skullgirl himself.

Squigly saw that max had a curious look on his face she didn't know what.

Leviathan: if you are planning to go after the skull heart l suggest you don't-

Max: I'm not an idiot It's easy to tell that thing obviously doesn't do real wishes and just manipulates people who are desperate plus like you say the skull heart won't work for me but I don't care for that. I'll assume that this thing can't be destroyed but not

Squigly: yes the skull heart returns after 7 years and no one knows how to destroy it permanently.

Max: I have a theory since this thing has the ability to control the dead its possible that it feeds of souls to remain that could explain why its still around.

Leviathan: you might be right on that but solving that problem can't be fix.

Squigly: I hate to say this but as long as humans die the skull heart will remain.

Max saw that squigly grabbed at her bone hand and he decided to do something about it.

Max: give Me your arm the one that is pure bone.

Squigly: why?

Max: I can tell you don't like having a bone for an arm so I'm gonna do something about it.

Squigly was unsure but max has been nice so far so she decided to humor him she showed him her bone arm and she saw Max's hand was covered in black matter she was surprised but she didn't feel any malice so she calm down.

When the black matter surrounded his arm he touched the part were her arm still had flesh and to her and leviathan's surprised the dead flesh started to heal and she felt a warm feeling in her arm when it was done her arm no longer had bones but a decaded hand like her other arm that suffered no damage.

Leviathan: my word you healed her.

Max: not really I basically jump started the dead cells in your body but this had an effect that this is new to me looks like your cell which are dead when I put my healing energy into them it basically had a jump start effect and thanks to your body being dead the cells are working tirelessly on working your body so now you have a healing factor that basically healing you to the point that you feel like you never died but only wounds that aren't really old and I guess you bone arm isn't that old is it?

Squigly: yes i only got shot in the head when I was alive but during the fight with my mother my dead body was suffering from damages that's why my arm was all bone.

Max: so how do you feel.

Squigly took a moment to feel her body she felt that dried blood in her vains was getting better and was flowing agin and the constant cold in her skin disappeared and she felt warmth in a long while and she felt the hole in her back was closing up like it was never there but one injury of her's was not healing is her eye socket was not healing she wasn't surprised by this because that is her oldest wound and a scaring reminder of the day she died.

Squigly: I fell like im alive and parts of My body are being healed but one that is not healing is this one.

Max saw how squigly touched covered eye and he saw from a little gap in her hair that her eye was missing and max figured that that's is her oldest wound it kinda makes sense that's the cause of her death then of course that would be really old that the cells near it are basically gone.

Max: so you don't have to answer this but what happened with your family you didn't give me the details.

Squigly was unsure of what to respond to Max's question she didn't like reliving her memories of her family's death and how everything went wrong but max has been nice to her and he is the reason why she is alive well as alive an undead can be but still she did promise to explain the medichi so guess she has no choice.

Max stretched out his arm and a black aura came of his arm though to her it looked like black fire and she only saw this type of power in a skullgirl.

Leviathan: max who or what are you.

Squigly: spiritual energy are you some sort of opposite of the skull heart?

Max: no unlike that thing that needs a host spiritual energy is basically your soul weaponized for you to use it.
