Through their conversation, Butch could not shake off the words of Tiffany.

He wanted everything to remain the same but he could not deny that change could come at any time.

Butch thought that he and Puck had wanted the same things and would be together for a long time working side by side.

He thought he knew her well enough and treated her like a sister but it seemed like they did not share the same goals as he thought.

Either there had been a change in her way of thinking or they had never been that close to begin with and he had just been deluding himself.

Butch was feeling quite hurt by such thoughts since Puck was one of the few people besides Tiffany that he had trusted and let in close enough to him without putting up a large wall to protect himself.

He may have treated others quite well but there was always a certain distance between them that could not easily be surpassed.

Puck was among the very few that had been able to pass through the walls that he put up around himself so she seemed to be quite a special existence to him.

After hearing what Tiffany had told him, the days went by as he continued to think about what Tiffany had pointed out.

He started to notice little things once he had been made aware of everything that was going on.

That caused him to feel more uneasy to the point that he could no longer sit by and let everything continue.

He wanted to know what the cause of it all was and why his relationship with Puck had become so distant.

After hesitating for quite some time, he finally began to consult Tiffany on how to proceed which resulted in the present situation.

Two figures were dressed in caps and sunglasses as they wore a hoody causing their bodies to be covered by a lot.

They were both in disguise as they tried to avoid being recognized as much as possible.

Both figures moved through the busy streets as carefully as they could as they followed someone who was much further ahead.

That continued until that figure arrived at a building that looked quite like a small cafe.

That figure belonged to Puck who sat at one of the tables.

She was seated there nervously as she looked around herself and she seemed to be waiting for something.

Another figure soon appeared from behind her as they placed their hand on her shoulder.

He had the appearance of an anthropomorphic cat and he was dressed in a smart suit.

He patted the shoulder of Puck who was dressed up quite neatly compared to her usual attire.

Tiffany and Butch watched from much further away while Butch narrowed his eyes as he watched everything taking place.

He did not know what he was feeling but he felt a little uncomfortable the moment that he saw the intimate touch on the shoulder of Puck.

There was no rejection from Puck as she turned around and smiled warmly toward the newly arrived male.

Butch did not know what he was feeling since he had never experienced such feelings before.

The male cat man went inside leaving Puck alone before returning with drinks and snacks that were shared between them.

Their relationship seemed quite close as if they had gotten to know each other quite well.

Tiffany turned her attention toward Butch after watching. "So is this the reason why she has been more distant."

Butch did not look too happy as he awkwardly answered. "So it seems..."

Each small gesture that had been shared between Puck and the man suggested that they were quite close and everything else suggested that they were on a date.

Even though Butch was not always quick to grasp certain things, even he could understand what was happening before his eyes.

Despite being younger than him, Tiffany was slightly more perceptive and had seen a lot more things so she was able to read how he was feeling. "Should we go now? We have confirmed what we were worried about."

Butch thought to himself as he continued to watch the scene happening from further in the distance. "I do not know... Puck, she... I have to know more."

He did not know what he was feeling but he did not feel at ease letting everything proceed further without checking it out.

He did not wish to interfere too much but he cared for her too much to let there be anything that could cause her to be hurt in any way.

A part of him believed that his decision was made out of protective feelings or that there was something that made him feel suspicion about the meeting itself.

What he did not realize was that what he was feeling most of all was jealousy.

He was jealous that Puck had suddenly found someone she had become close to and that his relationship with her had become different as a result of that.

Perhaps his feelings were not what he thought they were.

The brotherly affection that he had toward her he believed it to be could have been wrong from the beginning.

Perhaps they may have been like that the whole time but seeing the scene in front of his eyes, he couldn't help but awaken such hidden or new feelings inside of him.

He was feeling jealousy toward someone getting closer than he was to Puck and he was feeling anxious that the distance between him and Puck would only increase.

What he did not know was that the relationship he believed he had with Puck, the both of them had never been on the same wavelength.

Puck may have shared similar feelings once but they gradually changed over time.

She never acted upon her feelings and never dared to do so while Butch failed to notice any of it.

Everything remained the same for so long yet it had only changed recently as a result of a chance meeting that caused Puck to try and move on from her feelings that she had held back for a long time and was unable to act on them.

She knew from their regular exchanges that Butch only viewed her as a sisterly figure so she could never quite muster the courage to confess.

There was a part of her that worried about their relationship changing if she confessed and she was rejected so she never took action.

When a romantic relationship did appear finally for her, she finally saw an opportunity to move on.
