A couple of weeks have past by after both Isaiah, now Kiba Yuuto, and Jeanne have joined both Rias' and Meelis' peerages.

During that time in the human world, Meelis managed to make the Master-servant pact with Kuroka and Jeanne, and of course the curse he set for the pact was an aphrodisiac. Even if he was not perverted, that's the best kind of curse to put in the master-servant pact as any traditional curse would involve some form of cruel punishment like death or extreme pain, so using that is the better option anyways.

Rias also had her opportunity to use the pact on her servants, Akeno, Koneko, and Kiba, who similarly used the same Aphrodisiac curse, except Kiba who only got a Fear curse, which would curse him to see his greatest fears until he goes insane.

After the whole master-servant ceremony, Meelis was extremely tired since he only had a certain amount of Demonic Power, and he had to do multiple people, luckily for him, Grayfia was there, and he managed to use her help to fuel the spell alongside himself. While normally sharing energy with each other is rare, since ironically the world of DxD is missing a lot of magical elements, the Pact functioned by setting a spell on the ground while in a full moon, so all Grayfia had to do was touch the spell and insert her energy into it alongside Meelis, who operated the spell.

Of course, the trip didn't go as smoothly as he had hoped. Aside from the whole clone got attacked part, Kiba and Jeanne did cause a few issues considering their troubled past.

Kiba was very distrustful of Devils because of his past as a church orphan, which led him to doubt anything they did or said. Meelis just got tired of it and did not want to wait for his whole awakening schtick where he fought a stray devil and became more trustful of the devils while training his swordsmanship, so Meelis 'convinced' him to take the master-servant pact for Rias and to become more trustful of them since they gained nothing from harming him.

As for Jeanne, while she was somewhat reluctant to do the pact, she quickly got over it since the pact was similar enough to the evil pieces and soon adjusted to both. As for any distrust to them as devils? She quickly got over that almost instantly so there was no issue on her side for that topic.

Now things were finally getting back on track.

With the weeks of adjustments behind them, the atmosphere in the peerage felt noticeably lighter. Rias' team, now complete with Akeno, Koneko, Kiba, and the recently added Gasper, had grown closer, the bonds among them tightening as they worked together. Even Kiba, who had once struggled with his trust, was beginning to settle in, cautiously accepting Rias and the others as a new family, though his gaze often carried traces of skepticism, a reminder of his painful past, though Meelis would definitely solve that issue later on, especially now since solving it gives tangible benefits.

Meelis, on the other hand, was beginning to appreciate the benefits of having a small but dedicated peerage, especially as Kuroka and Jeanne started to work in sync with him. He valued Kuroka's skill and her mischievous but reliable nature. Jeanne's steadfastness, however, often impressed him the most, her spirit undeterred even by the unfamiliar devil customs she was adjusting to. They were all navigating a blend of traditions and rules that seemed to pull them closer to each other with every task they undertook.

In a rare quiet moment, Meelis gathered everyone together, including Rias' group, to discuss their next steps.

"All right," Meelis began, glancing around at both peerages, "We've had a bit of time to settle in, but we're approaching a point where we need to focus on our goals and strengthen our abilities. Each of you has unique talents, and it's about time we start using them strategically."

"Rias, first of all, you need to train, both you and your peerage needs to train, you'll need it if you want to not only deal with your Riser situation, but also since in the future, even if you fend off Riser, someone else will take his place. As for your peerage, only Kiba is taking his training seriously, you need to put everyone to train or else your team will be unbalanced." Meelis lectured.

While Rias seemed a bit down by being lectured by Meelis, she did not retort to his statements since he was right and she knew it, her whole peerage knew it.

"As for me, I think it's about time I start preparing for my debut, and also my territory. I can't stay in the Gremory territory all my life, I need my own base, not to mention that having my own place would give me benefits like money. So, the goal of my peerage right now is to prepare nightmare that is devil politics, and to start looking for a better place." He said as he glanced at a lazy cat lying on the sofa, and the somehow shining knight.

Kuroka stretched, flashing a lazy grin. "You got it, boss. I think I'm more than ready to show what I can do, Nya~~."

Jeanne nodded. "Yes master." She answered as one would expect of a knight, only to revert back to her carefree jolly attitude and laid next to Kuroka.

Meelis' face could only twitch at his slightly unreliable peerage.
