Chapter 19: Chapter 19

The flying cherry blossom petals, absolutely beautiful in the silvery moonlight, brushed against Agent Zero's helicopter as if blown by a gentle breeze.

"Move" Agent Zero shouted, as he felt a stinging pain on his face. He reached out and wiped it off, looking at the red blood; his eyes were gloomy.

The blade was like a flower petal.

"Not good!" he exclaimed, suddenly remembering the helicopter beside him.

Just as he turned his head, he saw those flying blades sweeping past that helicopter, shatterin,g the glass and turning the two people inside the helicopter into corpses. The helicopter fell from mid-air and exploded into a sea of fire on the ground.

Agent Zero ,was shocked but n; heor long, he aimed the gun aike and he shouted, "Pull up!" With those words, he fired a barrage of bullets at Mike.

Mike, who was in assassin time, dodged the falling bullets as his feet moved, and with a wave of his palm, Senbon Zakura's blade flew at Agent Zero again, while his other hand touched his waist.

The helicopter quickly pulled up high, dodging the flying blade and flying off into the distance.

"The mission failed this time," Agent Zero said unhappily, taking his c,ommunicator and he connected to Stryk,er and said "Colonel Stryker, the mission failed; there are other mutants here."

Stryker was silent for a moment and then said, "I got it, come back." Accepting his command, agent Zero disconnected the communicator.

Just then, there was a sudden gunshot. A flying bullet flew into the hatch of the helicopter from an incredible angle and flew past Agent Zero's eyes.

"Poof!" Blood was spilled as the pilot's head instantly opened up, and the helicopter stalled, plunging downward like a bird with broken wings.

"Fuck!" Agent Zero cursed and hurriedly went to control the helicopter.

The flying petals reappeared, and Agent Zero's face changed; his face stiffened. "Damn it!"

In the next second, the cherry blossom petals drowned him, and the helicopter crashed down with a bang.

.....

Logan, covered in blood, approached Mike and said anxiously, "Where's Clark? Is he okay?"

"Yeah," Mike replied.

Logan breathed a sigh of relief, his eyes full of apologies as he said, "I am sorry, they should have come for me."

Mike nodded, looking at the home still burning in the distance, remembering the bullet that flew at Clark. He said in a grim tone, "But now I have some enmity with them too."

Logan groaned and said, "Leave it to me. Don't get involved in these things. This will bring trouble to the lives of you and Clark. They are not ordinary people."

Mike casually dropped the zanpaku knife in his hand and said coldly, "The trouble is already here; what I have to do now is to solve the trouble, personally."

Logan patted Mike's shoulder and said movingly, "Thank you. Now we should find that son of a bitch first. And of course, that brother of his."

"Who?" Mike asked deliberately, even though he knew.

"Colonel Stryker, a member of thelitary, he is the one responsible for special projects. He is a dangerous guy," Logan explained.

Mike nodde,d and asked "Where is Stryker now?"

Mike really couldn't remember; otherwise, they would save a lot of time. If he knew that they would cross paths like this, he would have remembered the details of the movie better and engraved them all in his memories.

"I'll go find Clark," Mike said quickly and ran to the basement where Clark was.

When the basement door was opened, Clark saw that it was Mike, and his sky-blue eyes lit up; he hurriedly jumped up on his little legs.

"Daddy!" Clark exclaimed.

Mike picked up Clark and said, "It's okay."

"Where are the bad guys who blew up our house?" Clark asked.

"Your Uncle Logan chased them off," Mike replied.

Clark blinked, waved his little fist, and said, "What about you Daddy? Did you kick those bad guys' butts hard?"

Reachismack Clark's headead a smack, Mike said with mild anger, "Who taught you those words?"

"I heard you say that to me last time," Clark replied.

"You're a good learner, kid," Mike said.

Listening to the conversation between the two, Logan rolled his eyes.

"How did you teach a kid like that?" Logan asked.

Mike walked out of the basement with Clark in his arms, turned his back on the battlefield he had just seen, and said to Logan, "Come on, let's get out of here."

Logan nodded.

"Dad, our home is gone," Clark said, lying on Mike's chest; he was sad.

Mike stroked Clark's head and said, "It's okay; I was just about to get you out of here anyway."

Clark was already three years old, and he had hesitated to take Clark back to New York some time ago, after all, the learning environment and living environment there were much better than over here, and now he didn't have to hesitate.

"Oh!" Clark answered, put his face on Mike's chest, yawned, and closed his eyes tiredly.

The group of three quickly left and found an inn in town to rest for the night.

The next day at dawn, Mike gave the penniless Logan some money to buy a used car., After that Mike carried Clark to a saand les agent, after entrusting them with the farm, the three of them embarked on a journey.

Their goal: Las Vegas.

...

Meanwhile, in a secret government base.

"Stryker! You have created an indestructible enemy!" someone shouted.

Faced with the other party's anger, Stryker's face was bland, and he said, "General! Wolverine is just a piece of the puzzle of the final plan; please believe me, I will take care of him."

The general, whose expression was cold like frost, snorted coldly and said, "Maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. is right; your Weapon-X plan is a mistake! It's too dangerous!"

Stryker sneered and said, "General, if my plan was a mistake, why would they covet my research!"

The General let out a deep breath and said, "You have one more chance, one last time! If it fails, there will be no further research funding for you!"

Stryker nodded with satisfaction and said, "General, you will not be disappointed this time; the XI will be the perfect weapon."

The General gave a soft "hmm" and turned to leave.

After the general left, Stryker whispered with disdain in his eyes, "Short-sighted guys. And S.H.I.E.L.D., a bunch of nosy flies."

"Oh, it looks like you're in trouble," a man in a black suit said with a faint laugh, walking out of the darkness.

Seeing the other party, Stryker stood straight and said, "Is it sir who has any instructions?"

The other party laughed and said, "Instructions? No! Just asked me to come and see your progress. Sir is very unhappy with your progress."

Stryker frowned and said, "I'm almost there! Sabertooth has gone to find the final weapon puzzle."

"Heh, don't let the man down or you know…." the black suit said indifferently, and his body seemed to blend into the darkness, slowly fading away until he disappeared.
