NOVEL NEXT Chapter 8: meeting Aki part two a promise for a birthday
when they returned to Yusei's apartment Aki smelled something cooking.
"ah the stew beef is ready." Yusei said.
he pulled out two bowls and a ladle and made him and her a bowl.
"hey Aki San when's your birth day." Yusei asked.
"um June fifth." she said.
two months from now thought Yusei.
"why are you asking me this ? " she asked
"I promise you I'll get you something special for your birthday." i said smiling at her.
"oh no- i mean you don't have to get me anything." she said.
"I'm not doing this because I have to, I'm doing it because I want to." i said
"this guy is perfect.' she thought
then Aki noticed Yusei's D-wheel.
"is that yours?" she asked.
"yup." I said.
"it's nicely built who got it for you." she asked
"nobody I built it myself took me about a year though because of all the part's were scarce in the satellite but now that I'm in the city building one would only take about a month or two.
Aki had only seen A D-wheel on television she'd never seen one in real life she noticed a button on the dash wondering if it activated speed world deciding to give it a touch.
"MANY TIME MY LOVE MANY TIME BEEN BITEN MANY TIME I GAZED ALONG THE OPEN ROAD." The radio blared nearly blowing Aki's head off.
Yusei pressed another button
"that's the radio and if you're wondering I have to play this to activate speed-world." I said pulling out a card to show her the copy of the field spell card speed world.
"oh i'm sorry." she said
"it's okay you did nothing wrong." i said.
then we ate in silence before aki spoke up.
"i've got to go back to the movement."
"hey aki?" i said
"hmm." she asked
"I'll take you there if you want me to." i said offering her a ride
an hour later Yusei pulled up-to the arcadia movement building aki got off but before she did she pecked Yusei on the cheek.
"hey Aki?" i said.
"yes Yusei."
"I hate to see you go but I love to watch you leave if you know what I mean." I said.
Aki blushed
"Baka." she said blushing.
