For some reason, this lizard-faced demon only had one wing. While the other two Named Demons could fly, Livelywood wondered if this one could as well.

Livelywood and Starfall had fought through countless demons and broken their barricades. Now, they stood face-to-face with the Named Demon, who was prepared with his dual swords.

"I see you've made it through those lowly demons just to meet me here. I have to commend you for that, ho ho ho!" the demon said.

He added. "But I'd be disappointed if all that hard work ended so quickly."

Livelywood grinned, his face full of energy as he readied his Unique-grade sword.

"Mr. Demon, I'm not sure if I can beat you," he admitted. "I'll just do my best to hold you off until my friends arrive."

"You won't survive," Alloces sneered. "The only reason you're still breathing is because of my mercy, ho ho ho! If I'd truly gone on a rampage, you'd already be in pieces under my blades."

"It would be an honor to face someone as powerful as a Named Demon."

"I like your attitude, human trash, ho ho ho!" Duke Alloces chuckled.

He lowered his head slightly, raised both swords, and glared at Livelywood with fiery eyes.

Livelywood's body was now surrounded by a green aura, wrapping around his gold and silver armor.

Starfall, standing beside him, said, "I'll make sure you can fight him without distractions, Livelywood. But remember, fall back if you feel overwhelmed."

"I'll do my best not to slow anyone down. Let's work together, Starfall."

"As always."

Livelywood grinned and dashed forward at incredible speed.

Alloces, on the other hand, charged with brutal moves, wildly swinging his dual swords through the air. The demon leaped, slashed, jumped again, spun on his hands, and kicked out before leaping once more, laughing maniacally.

"Ho ho ho!"

Alloces sped toward Livelywood, his movements chaotic and unpredictable. Livelywood immediately shifted into a defensive stance, parrying strike after strike. The final parry sent him flipping backward through the air.

Alloces lunged again at blinding speed, but despite the demon's wild aggression, Livelywood matched him. His quick reflexes allowed him to parry, counter, and even dodge with precise movements—bending his body backward, sidestepping, or leaping away when needed.

Their fighting styles were starkly different. Alloces fought like a storm, his movements erratic but showcasing masterful control of his dual swords, which had an impressive range. His confidence made his attacks overwhelmingly offensive, creating frequent openings in his stance. Yet, Livelywood couldn't exploit even the tiniest gaps.

Opening! Barely there!

Livelywood suddenly surged forward, his legs wrapped in fierce wind energy, propelling him past Alloces' wide swing. He aimed for his first strike, rushing toward Alloces.

But—

Alloces grinned wickedly, opened his mouth, and unleashed a massive blast of fire. Livelywood was engulfed in flames and sent tumbling violently backward, his armor scorched.

Alloces didn't let up. He somersaulted through the air, spinning with his swords, and continued slashing relentlessly.

His maniacal laughter echoed. "Ho ho ho! Not bad, trash!"

Livelywood's excitement was evident as his body glowed with a vibrant green aura. His sword blazed with the same green energy. Without hesitation, he dashed forward, faster than before!

This time, Livelywood ran with incredible speed, zig-zagging unpredictably. It looked almost like teleportation, though it was simply his unmatched agility and a boost of speed.

Alloces charged once more, and their swords clashed with a thunderous metallic roar. Sparks flew as flames and gusts of wind exploded from their strikes.

Alloces swung his swords with ferocious speed, but Livelywood parried each blow, countering with his own strikes. The clash of their blades created a relentless rhythm of attacks and defenses.

Suddenly, Livelywood leapt back, sidestepped, and spun through the air, skillfully dodging Alloces' next strike. But Alloces raised his blade and parried, sending Livelywood tumbling backward again.

Landing on the ground, Livelywood wasted no time. He lunged forward once more, his strikes and Alloces' counters erupting into another dazzling series of sword clashes.

The fierce battle captivated everyone watching, leaving them amazed.

The battle between Alloces and Livelywood was a display of masterful technique and swordsmanship. Despite their intense clashes, neither side managed to inflict any significant damage. However, every time Livelywood parried, he still took minor damage from Alloces' brutal attacks. Thankfully, Starfall's support allowed him to endure longer.

Alloces flapped his lone wing, propelling himself backward just as Livelywood's blade nearly sliced toward his stomach.

"Ho ho ho!" Alloces laughed.

Livelywood grinned. A fierce green energy swirled around his legs, propelling him into the air as he chased after the demon! He unleashed a flurry of slashes, but Alloces retaliated, sending him flying wildly backward.

Suddenly, Livelywood darted forward again, zig-zagging with incredible speed. He leaped high into the air, and as he rose, his body seemed to split into multiple copies, encircling Alloces midair.

Alloces laughed again, clearly enjoying the challenge. He spun rapidly, slashing in all directions, and within moments, all of Livelywood's illusions vanished.

Out of nowhere, one real Livelywood shot up from below, aiming his blade straight at Alloces' neck!

But Alloces simply grinned. His body suddenly ignited with fiery light, and—clang!—the blade struck with no effect. Livelywood's attack failed to penetrate the demon's defenses.

Alloces countered with both swords, striking Livelywood and sending him hurtling backward.

Livelywood skidded across the ground but managed to steady himself, repositioning his body.

"He's immune to physical damage," Livelywood muttered as he landed, now standing beside Starfall.

"But he can still be hurt by magic damage," Starfall replied. "I've managed to land a few hits, though it's hard from this range."

"Yeah… but if I lose focus for even a second, this fight could turn fatal for me."

Starfall began casting her buffs, and four glowing magic circles spun rapidly behind Livelywood.

"You'll be able to switch between these basic elements and deal magic damage," she explained.

"The damage will be drastically reduced, though, since my physical attacks are useless." Livelywood sighed.

"You only need to hold him off for as long as you can, Livelywood."

"Yeah, I'll do my best," he replied with a cheerful grin, readying himself to attack again.

"Now, it looks like I've become a magic sword fighter, haha," he added with a chuckle.
