Chapter 386 - 386 Deaf and Blind_1

Chapter 386: Chapter 386 Deaf and Blind_1

“Kid, what did you just say?”

Aaron Martin couldn’t help but frown upon hearing Julius Reed’s words, “Are you really that trash? That woman had an abortion because of you, and now she’s still willingly being the other woman. Even I, a thug, can’t bear to watch!”

He spat on the ground with great disdain, “Tch! The kind of person I despise the most is you! I’m going to give you a proper beating today, and if I don’t break your ‘little brother,’ I’ll take your surname!”

“Go!”

They quickly moved forward, but before they could lay a hand on anyone, they saw someone walking down the street.

“Boss, there’s someone. What should we do?”

One of them leaned in close to Aaron Martin. If they started a fight in the street and a passerby recorded it or called the police, things would undoubtedly escalate.

“Damn! Why is this guy so idle? Full from supper and got nothing better to do than take a stroll at night?” Aaron Martin took a deep breath, itching with irritation inside.

However, Aron Jackson had ordered not to bully people using their power. If word of this got out, he would inevitably face the group’s sanctions.

“Hey! There’s going to be a fight here! Scram! If you want to take a walk, go over there. If the fighting starts and you get hurt, don’t expect me to care!”

Aaron Martin shouted at the figure on the street with a loud voice.

Normally, when shouted at like this in the middle of the night, most people would run for their lives, not even having enough time to escape.

Yet the figure continued to approach without even pausing, sauntering over leisurely.

With hands clasped behind his back, wearing a long robe, he looked like an old man practicing Tai Chi in a park.

“Why does this figure seem so familiar?”

Aaron Martin furrowed his brows and thought, feeling that he recognized the figure but unable to remember who it was.

“Boss, what do we do?”

As the man drew closer, Aaron Martin slapped his forehead, suddenly realizing, “This old man must be deaf! With old age comes deafness, and yet he still comes out for a walk? Go, light a fire, that’ll scare him away!”

“Understood!”

They stood in a line and took out lighters from their pockets, flicking them on and off.

A normal person, as long as they’re not blind, would be intimidated by such a frightening scene and would certainly steer clear.

At midnight, a group of guys playing with lighters looks like they’re either mad or drunk; who would bother with them?

But that person still approached as if he saw nothing, walking toward them unhurriedly.

“Blind?”

Aaron Martin took a deep breath and cursed his bad luck.

But if he really was both deaf and blind, then it would be an easier matter to handle.

“Go, move him away. Don’t hurt him by mistake! We really can’t afford to offend old men these days; without a couple hundred thousands, they won’t get up from the ground!”

Aaron Martin extended his hand, and two subordinates immediately walked over.

“Amos Davenport, today I’m going to personally beat you up. Do you submit or not?”

Now that the unexpected pedestrian had been dealt with, Aaron Martin confidently strode over to Julius Reed, speaking with overbearing pride, “I know you won’t submit! But you have to, even if you don’t want to! Weren’t you strutting around at the party just a moment ago, and now you dare to defy me!”

He tore off his shirt, pointing to the tiger tattoo and asked, “Tell me, what’s this? A tiger or a regular cat?”

Feeling his own sore spot provoked, Aaron Martin was furious.

The tables had turned now. With Aron Jackson not around and no one else there, he was determined to thoroughly humiliate Julius Reed!

“A cat!”

Julius Reed took a careful look and then spoke.

“Heh, a cat, you say?” Aaron Martin sneered, nodding his head, “Today, I will let you learn whether this is a tiger or a cat!”

He weighed the wooden club in his hand, looking at Julius Reed, “Do you know what this is?”

“A wooden club.”

Julius Reed answered truthfully.

“Haha! It’s not called a wooden club, it’s called reason! Today, I won’t stop beating you until you admit that the tattoo on me is a tiger. If you don’t say it, I’ll beat you to death!”

He raised the wooden stick, and it was about to come crashing down.

But over there, his employee stood still, shaking and shouting: “Boss… Boss…”

“Useless! Didn’t I tell you to drive that deaf-mute away?”

Aaron Martin’s anger flared. Just as he turned around, he saw his employee kneeling on the ground.

And the ‘deaf and blind’ old man was practically in front of him.

“Garbage! Now I have to handle it myself!”

He turned back to face the old man, and then his eyes widened!

“Boss… Boss!”

Aaron Martin’s face turned pale with fright, his speech trembling.

The so-called old man in front of him was none other than Aron Jackson, the man whose mere name struck terror in Gonzalez City!

Mr. Jackson!

Now that he had ended up striking his own boss, Aaron Martin felt the desire to die.

“Aaron Martin, you’ve got some nerve! You even dare to order your employee to take care of the boss?”

Aron Jackson said with a smile.

Yet, that smile sent shivers down Aaron Martin’s spine.

Horrified, he knelt straight down on the ground, pressing his head firmly against it, pleading: “Boss, even with a hundred guts, I wouldn’t dare to oppose you! I truly didn’t know it was you; I just saw someone approaching…”

“So you think you can treat others like that?”

Aron Jackson’s voice suddenly turned icy, causing Aaron Martin to tremble all over.

“I’ve made it clear many times, we do not bully ordinary people! Have you forgotten my words?”

Aron Jackson spoke with his hands clasped behind his back, his tone chilling.

Seeing the turn of events, the other employees quickly dropped their weapons, kneeling neatly on the ground.

“Boss, I realize my mistake.”

Aaron Martin said with a trembling voice.

Aron Jackson had very strict demands on his employees; just a while ago, some were discarded and tossed out for bullying others, relying on their power.

“You realize your mistake, then what were you thinking just now? You think that being close to Bran Cook, he will protect you?”

Aron Jackson bent down and whispered into Aaron Martin’s ear.

“Boss!”

Aaron Martin, sweating profusely, shook like a leaf: “I, Aaron Martin, swear to the heavens! If I dared to be disloyal to the boss, may I be struck by thunder! Bran Cook did give me some money, but it was just to make friends. Please rest assured, boss, I will have someone return the goods tomorrow.”

Forget about the money; as long as he could stay within Mr. Jackson’s workforce, he might have the chance to rise again sooner or later.

As long as the green hills last, there will be no shortage of firewood!

“Remember this, next time you take someone else’s money, weigh your own worth first!”

Aron Jackson patted Aaron Martin on the shoulder, saying, “I have had high regard for you, but your actions have greatly disappointed me.”

“Boss, I was wrong! Please give me another chance! I promise to have no dealings with anyone else, and be loyal to you like a dog!”

Aaron Martin’s clothes were already soaked through, and at this moment his lips were pale, his body weak to the extreme.

“You’re too harsh on your employee; it’s just taking some money. Bran Cook isn’t any good either. Why not take his money if it’s free?”

Julius Reed watched Aron Jackson reprimanding and said with a laugh from the side.

“Damn it! You dare to speak to my boss like that! Today I’ll split you in half!”

Aaron Martin’s eyes darted around, he picked up the wooden stick from the ground, and prepared to rush at Julius Reed.

“Fine, we’ll do as you said, the money from Bran Cook won’t be returned.” Aron Jackson said from behind Aaron Martin.
