Chapter 43: Nobody Knows My Daughter
"Hey, don't try it, Garriso. Or I will kill you."
[Garriso smiles at Homie Gee] "Oh, I see, and what will make you think I am afraid to die, my man? Yeah, I won't, and I don't think I will. That's because of your little girl. I really feel it for your daughter if they jail you. Or do you think I have let it go? No, it's because of your daughter."
"Hey, how did you know I have a daughter, Garriso? Because nobody knows about this."
[Garriso snickers at Homie Gee] "Wow, so you think you're hiding that little girl, right? No Homie Gee, you have grown and left your senses behind. You're a gangster, so be smart and stop playing bad games with the poor people before I get mad."
Lefah was confused why Garriso and Homie Gee had been talking about all this while, so he ran immediately to them and said, "Hey, hope you guys are good? It's getting late so, let's play, maybe you can chat more later."
Homie Gee smiled at Lefah and said, "Yeah, you're right Lefah. You know, I was just trying to make things right between Garriso and I and I think we are friends now."
Garriso smiled back at Lefah and said, "Yeah, we are good now, so don't worry about us. Hey, let's play now guys."
"Okay Homie Gee and Garriso. Hey, tell your boys to stop smoking and come around and let's play Homie Gee."
[Homie Gee called his gangsters to pull over for them to play NBA.]
"Hey! Boys pull over! And let's play NBA." [Homie Gee]
When Homie Gee was calling his boys to come around for them to play NBA, Lefah walked close to Garriso and said, "Hey, you don't look good bro. What's wrong. Did Homie Gee say something you didn't like?"
"Oh, no, my man. I'm cool, so let's play now. You are the one who wants him as a friend, not me. And besides, I don't. And I don't know what he will do for me to like him. Maybe unless he changes."
"Oh, no. But you said earlier that you guys are cool, so what again, Garriso?"
"Hey, my man. People always pretend to let the eyes of people just to make them like or love them. Garriso never pretends but shows real love for the surrounding life. But why doesn't Garriso like Homie Gee and his gangsters? Hey, this is the question you should always be asking yourself, because I get no answer for you even if you ask me bro. I never liked Homie Gee, and I don't know what he will do for me to love or like him but to change and confess his wrong actions in this area."
"Hey, is there anything I'm missing, pastor Garriso?"
"Hey, I don't really know church, member. It's time, so let's play."
"Okay fine."
[Homie Gee and his gangsters are 6 in number, added to Lefah and Garriso to make it 8 boys playing. So, they divided themselves into 2 groups. The other 4 players come from the west and south to play the NBA challenge. The question is, why they play NBA but not American football, all because Lefah and Garriso are high school American footballers. They set the ball rolling on an old street volleyball court in the evening, and this is the first time Garriso and his brother, Lefah, play with Homie Gee and his gangsters because Garriso never allows it.]
[Lefah and Garriso have loved to play NBA ever since they were little kids at the age of 5 years. Although Lefah and Garriso's dream is to play American football. Both of them really love playing NBA on an old street volleyball court on weekends.]
[In the next section, Lefah, Garriso, Homie Gee and his gangsters were playing together on an old street volleyball court just for fun. About Homie Gee and Garriso. Nobody knows what's going on between them. But everything about their actions towards each other since childhood tells them there is a secret between them, but they don't want to tell anybody else, even to tell Lefah about it. This has made Lefah think Garriso just doesn't like Homie Gee and his bad gangs, but the future will tell the secret between Garriso and Homie Gee's bad gangs. And the question is, what is the secret between them. Everything shows Homie Gee and his gangsters caused a lawbreaking offense years ago and Garriso had an eye glance, and he didn't want to talk about it because if he reported it to the police, Homie Gee and his gangsters would go to jail and, also, trying to keep this secret because Homie Gee, who is the gang leader had a little daughter to take care of. Homie Gee was surprised when Garriso mentioned her little girl having it as a secret in the house. They play the NBA challenge more than hours late at an old street volleyball court.]
[Alarm ringing on Lefah's hand watch.]
Lefah stopped when running with the ball in his hand and said, "Hey! Guys, it's 6:00 pm and the time is up for playing. "
Because Homie Gee was enjoying the challenge, he said, "Oh, no dude. Why don't you play till 6:30 pm? You know, we get a lot of streetlights around, and also we have nothing to do after playing."
One guy from the Homie Gee gangsters, called Biggin, smiled and said, "Hey Homie! There's a party tonight." But Homie Gee shut him up. "Hey! Shut up Giggin."
"Hey, don't worry Giggin, you will go and have fun tonight because the game is over. Yo, Homie Gee, my brother is right and what our time says is our command, because we live according to our time. Time is precious, and we have a lot to do with our precious time."
"Don't worry, Homie Gee. We are stopping this evening just to have more rest. Maybe we can continue some other time. Hope you're good?"
Homie Gee smiled at Lefah and said, "Yeah, I am good. So, let's play some other time, Lefah."
