Chapter 39: I Can't Trust Garriso

"Hey, are you serious about Garriso, or are you just trying to, you know, mock him for no reasons, my love?"

"Not that, Sophia. I just don't trust that boy, because I really know Garriso, how funny he's, sometimes at home. If he doesn't spoil everything here."

"I don't think so, son. Just look at him. I can see how serious he's. Trust your brother, my love."

Immediately Garriso reached the lady, Garriso gave a shy smile at the lady and said, "Hey, Miss."

"Hey, young man. Do you work here too?" [Woman]

"Yeah, but you know, today is my first time working here just to help my auntie out. You know."

"Oh, I can see. And I haven't seen you here before, that's why. But I have waited here for a long time now, hey, what happened?"

"Um, we are sorry about that, Miss. By the way, my name is Garriso and that's what all my friends and family call me. But you know, the old people called me sugar. Because without me, your coffee or tea couldn't be sweet."

The lady smiled at Garriso and said, "Wow, you really have a nice name, and funny too, Sugar."

"Okay and thank you, Miss."

"Hey, why do you keep calling me Miss, when I'm not married yet. I'm not Miss. Just have a look at my figures. No engagement, no wedding, so I'm not."

"Okay fine, so can I call you single?"

"No, nope, you can't call me that, Sugar."

"Why? Okay fine, do you have a boyfriend?"

"Hey, you really sound funny. I don't think you are serious about this question, Sugar."

"And what will make you think I am not serious about this question, gorgeous?"

"Okay fine, no engagement, no wedding."

"Oh, my goodness, Holy angel. Hope you just came from the sky?"

The lady snickers and says, "But I have a boyfriend."

"Oh no, Holy ghost, you should have said it earlier. Hm, I think I'm not even lucky."

[The laughs]

"Hey, what the hell you mean, Sugar?"

"Nothing, yeah, nothing gorgeous. So, tell me, how many boyfriends do you have pretty?"

"Hello husband, are you here to work or to ask about my relationship, young man?"

"Okay, fine. You know, I was just trying to show customer care. This is our table menu. The drinks we serve here please. So, what do you want me to serve you, gorgeous?"

"Hm, you're very funny, nothing else. Just a cup of coffee."

"So, should I add myself to it, my gorgeous?"

"No, nope, I don't need you, Sugar."

"Which means you don't need us to add some sugar to your coffee, right?"

[The lady laughs]" Hey, fuck you. Get out joker. Don't let me laugh and disgrace myself here, young man."

[Garriso leaves the lady after making fun of her. She ordered some coffee from the menu and gave it back to Garriso to leave and bring back her coffee. Garriso ran back to Miss Sophia and Lefah. When Amelia was already at customer service.]

Sophia smiled at Garriso. Immediately, Garriso returned to them and said, "Hey, how did it go, son? Because we saw both of you laughing and making fun with each other. What happened?"

"Nothing really happened guys. I was just rendering my services to her. Nothing much."

Lefah smiled and said," Oh, I can see. Wow, the best barista in the United States."

"Hey, will you shut up Lefah?"

"Okay. And okay my boys. Hey, Mr. Garriso. Don't forget your customer is waiting for your service, my love."

"Yeah, Sophia. I know, and I don't even know what she ordered me to bring back. She just said Coffee. Just have a look at what she selected from the menu, please."

[Garriso handed the table menu to Miss Sophia because he had no idea about what the lady wanted to drink and all that he knew was coffee, she said.]

Sophia smiled and said, "Oh, okay. She just wants a coffee."

[Sophia made the lady's order ready and gave it to Garriso to go and serve his customer.]

"Here we go. Your customer order is ready now. You can go and serve her, Mr. Garriso."

"Okay Sophia. Thank you."

"Hey, it's my pleasure, my love. Hey, just go, she's waiting, Garriso."

Lefah sighed and said, "Hey, just be careful bro."

"Yeah, I will bro. Just trust me. I got this my man."

"Hey, are you sure?"

"Yes, I am sure bro. I will be back; my customer is waiting for her coffee."

[Garriso walks gently back to the young lady who ordered a cup of coffee.]

"Hey, madam gorgeous. Here we go. Your order is ready please. "

"Oh, okay and thank you, Sugar."

"You're welcome, gorgeous. And hey, do you mind if I sit beside you just to chat about us?"

"Oh, yeah. I would like to, but I am here for a business meeting which is more important, and my client will be here any moment from now."

"Oh okay."

"Hey, thank you, Sugar."

"Okay then. I will run back immediately because I don't want to disturb you, gorgeous. "

"Um, okay and thank you once again for making my day, Sugar. In fact, I wasn't in a good mood, but you made me smile. Thank you."

"Hm, hey you are welcome, lady. Hey, I didn't even ask about your name, gorgeous."

The lady smiled and said, "I'm Rebecca. That's how people who know me call me at home and in my workplace."

"Nice name Rebecca."

"Thank you, Sugar."

"It's my pleasure. But hey, I lied about my name. My real name is Garriso and that's how people know me."

"Hey, how dare you to lie to me Garriso?"

"Yeah, I lied to you before because I didn't know your real name either, Rebecca."

"Oh no, but that doesn't mean you should lie to me, Garriso."

"You know, I wanted to lie about my real identity from you because I thought you were an angel who just came down from the sky. You know, those angles are not easy to find in the human world. So, I was terrified to show you the real of me. Hey, I'm sorry."
