Chapter 20: Another Visit to Gringotts
July 1994
Peverell Manor
Harry helped Dobby settle down in the manor who was excited to do work for the 'great Harry Potter Sir.' With a lot of hassle and arguments Harry was able to convince to shorten the address, which was ultimately agreed to be 'Harry sir.'
Dobby immediately wanted to get to work in the castle but he realised that the manor required no cleaning or organising which was done by the runes. Also, Dobby could not start to cook or do gardening in the spare land as there were no supplies.
Harry gave a lot of coins to Dobby and asked him to stock the kitchen and procure plants as per his wishes.
Harry was currently standing in his room and it was time for him to take the next step. In one corner of the room, he saw Hedwig his most faithful companion perched on one of the beautiful stands Harry had found on the manor.
Though for now Harry could not pin point it exactly, but Hedwig had changed somehow. Although Harry felt the same affection and the bond from the beautiful owl, Hedwig felt more intelligent. Even before the changes Hedwig was the most intelligent owl Harry had ever seen but now Hedwig seemed even more intelligent and conscious.
In the memories of the Peverell brothers, Harry had found good amount of information on owls, magical bonds with animals and familiars but even so he could not explain the changes in Hedwig.
He shook his head to get thoughts about Hedwig out from his mind for now and focused on his next step.
He waved his hand and cast a powerful 'glamour' charm on himself, altering his look to a middle age man. He did not want to get caught roaming in the Diagon Alley by the wizarding world and specially by any of Dumbledore's stooges. He had been foolish during his earlier visit thinking that a hood was enough to hide him. It was only his luck that no noticed Harry Potter wandering in the Diagon Alley.
After the glamour, Harry Potter disapparated, and vanished from the manor.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank
Harry apparated on the footsteps of the gate leading inside Gringotts, the closet location any wizard could apparate into Gringotts. Even one step more closer and the sword of Goblins would be at his throat, even before he could utter a single word.
Harry picked up a quick pace and marched with confidence inside the Gringotts. Two weeks ago, when he had visited this place, he had been a scared little child but now he was a whole different man.
Last time he had no idea what to do, what his legacy was and what were his duties but now he was knowledgeable.
Last time he was weak who was scared of even the faintest of sound but now he was powerful. His arsenal of the magical spell was probably the largest in whole of magical Britain.
Last time Harry Potter was innocent person with no political acumen but now, though he was inexperienced but was already a shrewd politician. The three Peverell brothers were one of the founding members of the magical Britain and the structure on which it was functioning today and were the seasoned politicians. Added with them was the memories of Voldemort who himself was a master manipulator. To have fooled so much of pure blood families in following him when he himself was a half blood, denoted his capacity as the master manipulator he was. Though his magical capability was the main reason for his dominance, his political understanding could not be ignored.
Harry reached inside the bank and was greeted by the same sight he had seen during his previous two visits. Angry and serious Goblins busy in their work.
Harry ran his eyes all around and walked towards one particular Goblin. Runook. The goblin was busy in calculating something and stamping papers vigorously.
Harry reached near the table, "Excuse me?"
Runook looked up and asked almost in snarl on being disturbed in his work, "What?"
Harry did not answer but allowed the glamour to fade away a bit allowing his face to be seen by Runook.
Understanding what Harry wanted, Runook composed himself, "Ah! Yes. Follow me."
Harry nodded and followed behind Runook.
Harry greeted, "Good morning Mr. Runook. May you have gold flowing in your vaults and blood tripping your blades."
Runook though having witnessed Harry's polite nature, but was still surprised by the goblin greeting he received. The wizards disdainful of the goblins did never greet them properly let alone a goblin greeting.
Runook answered back, "Good morning Mr. Potter. May your vaults be filled with gold and business flows like water."
He continued, "It seems that in these two weeks you have gathered quite a knowledge."
Harry sighed, "Yes Mr. Runook. I cannot forever remain ignorant of everything. Few good things have forced my hand to seek knowledge. And it has been something good for me and my life."
Runook nodded but did not commented. The duo soon reached in a room with two chairs in the middle and coincidentally it was the same room in which Harry was during his previous visit.
Harry took his seat while Runook stated, "Wait here Mr. Potter. I would quickly inform Sharptooth of your arrival."
Harry nodded in agreement and with this Runook was gone to call upon Sharptooth.
Harry sighed mentally and prepared himself for all that was to be done. Today he would learn about what Dumbledore was trying to do with his family's legacy. He would learn about Molly Weasley's involvement in the old coot manipulations.
