Konoha, Just Like Kizaru

Chapter 17: 017 Have You Ever Been Kick By the Speed of Light?

During their journey to the village, the Simu team didn't spend all their time moving.

Jiraiya used their breaks to guide Minato and Kushina in their training.

For example, Kushina learned to harness her [Strange Power] during these past few days.

And her talent in this ability seems to be pretty good?

Jiraiya's eyes twitched as he looked at the giant tree split from the middle to both sides.

He seemed to see the shadow of a certain woman in Kushina.

Minato also played a smooth game in embarrassment.

"Kushina, your [Strange Power] is really well-trained."

Simu noticed that Kushina was still a bit angry as she landed back on the ground, but he remained ready to turn into his elemental form at any moment.

He couldn't help but wonder if the Nine Tails inside her was contributing to her incredible strength.

Kushina's [Strange Power] was truly terrifying, making her seem far from a beginner.

Even a solid rock would be shattered by her full force.

After all, [Strange Power] is not the same as ordinary ninjutsu.

Other ninjas need to use a lot of energy to control their chakra, which enhances their jutsu and minimizes chakra loss.

However, Kushina doesn't face these problem.

With her Uzumaki clan physique and the Nine Tails inside her, she can use her power much more easily.

Kushina doesn't need to control her chakra at all; she can release it freely. Her huge volume of chakra is what makes her [Strange Power] so special.

In contrast, Minato focuses on improving his chakra control.

Simu can often see him moving his open palm, guiding the chakra within it.

This difference is partly due to their physiques; Minato has less chakra compared to Kushina.

If Minato wants to maximize his advantages, he needs to focus on controlling his chakra.

As for Simu, it's hard to tell how he trains. Most of the time, he just sleeps or eats.

Sometimes, he even goes fishing by the river! Jiraiya often thinks it seems more like a vacation than a mission.

Thanks to Simu, they didn't have to eat all their military food pills at once.

After a brief rest, they finally reached the mission location in the middle of the night.

Simu looked up at the sky and saw a cliff ahead, where the bandits had set up their base.

The cold wind hit everyone's faces, making it feel even chillier.

"It's really cold. In weather like this, I wish I could have hot pot at home,"

Simu said, pulling his clothes tighter and burying his hands deep in his pockets.

Jiraiya took a deep breath. "Stop joking around and let's get rid of these gangsters quickly."

He warned them, "I won't intervene this time. This is just a gang of ordinary thugs, so there are no ninjas to worry about."

For the three of them, the biggest challenge wasn't their ability to defeat the gang. It was a psychological one.

As novices, their willingness to kill was a key factor in determining whether they could become skilled ninjas.

"I know," Simu replied casually before disappearing in the blink of an eye.

These ten-meter-high cliffs may be a natural barrier to ordinary people.

But it can only be said to be a piece of cake in front of ninjas.

Minato and Kushina followed closely behind.

Using their Chakra to stick to the cliff as if they were walking on the ground.

"Five, six!"

"You lost! Drink up!"

A large group of bandits sat around the bonfire, carelessly shaking their dice.

The strong smell of alcohol filled the camp.

Nearby, several children were tied to a wooden stake with ropes around their necks, treated like cattle or livestock.

When a man dropped the dice, the group erupted in cheers, shouting, "Three cups fine! Three cups fine!"

"Just drink it! I'm going to the bathroom first!"

Laughter erupted around the campfire as the man stood up, pulled down his pants, and urinated on the cliff.

Suddenly, he heard a noise coming from the bottom of the cliff and leaned over to take a look.

A figure dashed out from the shadows beside him.

The blonde hair glinted in the dark night as the kunai in his hand swiftly cut across the bandit throat neatly.

"enemy..."

He only had time to utter a single word before dying.

The unpleasant smell of blood filled the air, making Minato, who had never killed anyone before, look visibly shaken.

Despite his careful movements, the camp was too small for stealth.

The other Bandits quickly sensed something was wrong and stood up, shouting, "Who's there?!"

They hastily grabbed their weapons.

Looking up, they saw a brilliant golden light illuminating the entire sky.

Originally, Simu didn't have much hatred for these bandits, but he changed his mind the moment he saw those children who were tied up like cattle and sheep, dressed in rags.

As if the sun was suddenly rise from the night, countless light spots fell from the sky like a rainstorm!

Simu spoke slowly.

"Excuse me, have you ever been kicked by the speed of light?"
