Konoha, Just Like Kizaru

Chapter 15: 015 The First Mission

"Why is Teacher Jiraiya late again?"

Kushina looked left and right, but still couldn't find Jiraiya.

Obviously he was the one who said to gather here at ten o'clock today, yet he actually disappeared.

Not only Jiraiya, but Simu was also late today.

This left Kushina feeling frustrated after waiting here for half an hour.

"This Simu, I will definitely have a talk with him when he gets here!" Namikaze Minato sat nearby, focusing intently on his palm, where five flame-like Chakra swirled in the air.

"Oh, I'm really sorry! I was called away by Teacher Sarutobi just now," Jiraiya's voice rang out.

He used Body Flicker Technique and appeared right in front of Kushina.

Kushina was furious, hands on her hips. "What's wrong with you? Why are you late every time?!"

Jiraiya scratched his head in embarrassment and held up the scroll in his hand. "I went to the Third Hokage to get the mission."

"Mission?"

Both Minato and Kushina's attention changed to the quest scroll in Jiraiya's hand.

She knew it had only been a day since their team was formed. Were they really starting a mission already?

"Okay! We can go on the mission!" Kushina exclaimed with excitement.

For her, becoming a ninja, completing missions, and gaining fame in the ninja world were steps toward her ultimate goal of becoming Hokage.

Starting missions early feels like getting closer to fulfilling her dreams.

Unlike the eager Kushina, Minato was more cautious.

"Isn't it a bit too soon, Teacher Jiraiya?"

"Our team was just formed yesterday, and we haven't built any teamwork yet." He shared his concerns.

While he and Kushina are familiar with Simu, there's a big difference between fighting together and everyday life.

To succeed in their mission and keep each other safe, they need to understand their teammates' combat habits and practice their tactics thoroughly.

Jiraiya gave Minato an approving look.

Many new ninjas are hot-headed and want to perform tasks quickly.

Little do they know that in the case of incomplete running-in, blindly stepping onto the battlefield will only lose their lives in vain.

Minato's advice was steady and reasonable.

It's just that their team is different from ordinary teams.

"This is something I've planned for a long time. I will guide you through the training during the mission."

"Okay."

Since Jiraiya had said this, Minato decided not to question him further. After all, Jiraiya had much more experience than him as a leader.

After speaking, Jiraiya looked around and noticed a problem.

"Simu?" Kushina raised an eyebrow.

"That guy must be hiding somewhere and went to sleep."

Just then, a flash of gold appeared in the distance, forming into Simu's figure.

"La la la, I just didn't want to wait too long."

Simu yawned lazily, rubbed his eyes, and pulled out his sunglasses from his coat to put them on.

Jiraiya didn't say anything since he was late too. He opened the mission scroll, laid it on the grass, and began to explain their task.

"Let me introduce the mission. We'll be heading to the border of the Land of Fire to eliminate a gang of bandits."

"In other words, this mission will involve killing people"

The expressions of Simu and Minato became serious in an instant.

Only Kushina didn't realize the cruelty of the matter, and was happily immersed in the joy of finally being able to perform the task.

"We'll discuss the details on the way. For now, go prepare your gear and meet at the village gate in an hour," Jiraiya instructed.

With that, the three of them vanished in an instant.

Jiraiya remembered what the Third Hokage had just told him: "Genius is forged in blood."

In peacetime, a typical Genin's first mission usually involves simple tasks like helping villagers find lost cats or assisting farmers with wild boars.

But the situation for Simu and the others is different.

He wants to mold them into Konoha's sharpest weapons, helping them adapt to the reality of combat as soon as possible.

This is a challenge every ninja must face.

On the battlefield, if they don't take down their enemy, they will take them down instead.

Fifty minutes later, Simu and the others arrived at the Konoha Gate. Jiraiya examined them closely.

Minato and Kushina were dressed in the standard Konoha Shinobi uniforms, which were mostly green.

In contrast, Simu stood out in his white justice coat and didn't even have a ninja bag. His outfit looked just like usual.

He simply didn't need any weapons because of his martial arts skills.

With techniques like the Six Styles and the Light Fruit, he didn't rely on kunai or other weapons at all.

Jiraiya hesitated to say anything, but after recalling the incredible speed of Simu's golden flash from yesterday, he decided to keep quiet. "Let's go when you're ready,"
