Konoha, Just Like Kizaru

Chapter 12: 012 Kick at Speed of Light

Like a comet hitting the earth.

An extremely dazzling golden flash instantly filled all of Jiraiya's field of vision.

Simu turned into a golden flash and appeared in front of Jiraiya in the blink of an eye.

To avoid any potential surprises, Simu didn't even have time to say his classic line before delivering a powerful kick to Jiraiya's stomach!

The dazzling golden light struck Jiraiya with huge force, sending him crashing into smoke and shattering it.

The golden flash then flew through the smoke and landed in the distant Death Forest.

As he watched the flash fly by, Jiraiya, hidden in the Death Forest, felt a strong pressure.

His instinct from years of fighting told him that if he didn't take this blow seriously, something might happen to him.

Without hesitation, he bit his finger and summoned the massive stomach wall of a giant toad, using its sturdy body to block the attack.

The golden flash erupted into a terrifying explosion, consuming countless trees in its path.

"Boom!"

A deafening explosion shook the area, engulfing the trees in flames and startling countless cawing crows.

At that moment, the giant toad on Mount Myōboku let out a loud scream, finally opening its eyes, which it rarely did.

He cursed, "What kind of opponent did that kid Jiraiya provoke?"

Just moments ago, Jiraiya had summoned a part of the giant toad's body to block Simu's attack.

The toad was as massive as a mountain, and even Jiraiya could only summon a small section of it.

"I'm sorry, Yansu the big toad," Jiraiya said, patting its stomach wall before releasing the Summoning Technique.

Not far away, Simu remained in a kicking pose.

Jiraiya's clone had vanished, leaving only the half-melted bell from the heat of the attack.

With his hands in his pockets, Simu added, "Speed is power."

As Jiraiya disappeared, his hair fell loose behind him.

Kushina and Minato, freed from their restraints, were still in shock.

They stared at Simu in disbelief, wondering what kind of monster he was.

Jiraiya emerged from the Death Forest, rubbing his head slightly and looking at Simu as if he were a monster.

He glanced at Kushina again, as if questioning whether she was the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki or if Simu the real Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.

Remembering the earlier attack, Jiraiya felt a chill run down his spine.

He realized that even the Jōnin in the village would have been seriously injured if caught off guard by such a blow.

Simu pulled his foot back, and a rustling sound echoed through the surrounding woods.

If all went as expected, his performance had already reached the ears of the Third Hokage through Anbu.

But that didn't matter; what was important was...

"Teacher Jiraiya, does this count as our victory?" Simu asked, lifting the half-melted bell with a single finger.

Jiraiya spread his hands in defeat. Their goal had been to get the bell, but Simu not only took it but also shattered his clone.

He had no reason to criticize.

He nodded helplessly and said, "The assessment was successful, and it was very successful."

Although he didn't give them a major blow or a motivational speech as he had expected, Simu's performance made him believe that Konoha's future is bright.

Just a little push was all that was needed.

"That's good"

Simu put his hands in his pockets and smiled, feeling satisfied.

He turned to Kushina and asked, "So, about that fifty thousand Ryo?"

Kushina rolled her eyes and said, "Don't worry, I won't owe you anything!" But deep down, she felt a bit troubled.

After all, she had come to Konoha alone, and 50,000 Ryo was her living expense for a month.

Simu pouted, sensing her distress.

"Forget it, just pay me back once you get your task reward," Simu said, putting his coat of justice back on in his usual relaxed style.

It was hard to believe this guy had just delivered such a powerful kick.

After brushing off his clothes, Simu glanced at his watch and raised his hand.

"Teacher. Jiraiya, it's already five o'clock. Shouldn't we... wrap up for the day?"

Jiraiya let out a heavy sigh.

This guy is really too laid-back. It's only five o'clock...

But after seeing Simu kick his avatar like that, Jiraiya couldn't find a reason to refuse.

"Alright, time to call it a day," Jiraiya said. Simu turned and walked away.

Kushina and Minato exchanged glances and shook their heads in disbelief.

Jiraiya hesitated for a moment but finally said, "Since it's our first meeting today, how about I treat you to some barbecue?"

Simu turned back slowly, stroking his chin. "Hey, that sounds like a great idea."

Kushina, frowning, hugged Simu's shoulder and said, "Come on, Simu! Drop that smug expression and talk to me!"
