"What do you want to do?" Camilla asked in panic.
"Take you away from here, the plane is quite far away!"
After Michael finished speaking, the flames from all around rushed over madly and appeared under his feet. Then, with a thought, the flames roared out.
"Ahhhhh…"
Camilla screamed in panic. The heat wave made her feel like she was about to be roasted. The flames under her feet were moving so fast that she was almost scared senseless.
This felt like surfing on flames. The hot fire flew past, and the leaves and other objects nearby were scorched. Not long after, Michael saw the plane and the surprised expressions of Skye and the others!
Perhaps they never imagined they would return this way!
Seeing their stunned faces, Michael was very satisfied with his idea. It was convenient, cool, and awesome! The only downside was that he couldn't generate fire indefinitely, couldn't sustain flying too far or too high, and couldn't do exactly what he wanted yet.
"Okay, we can go now!"
After landing, the flames disappeared, and Michael walked in casually.
"Are you okay?" Coulson asked, looking at the disheveled Camilla.
Camilla still seemed to be in shock and shook her head dumbly.
The plane took off slowly, and Michael came out after changing his clothes.
It turned out that Coulson was waiting for him at the door of the room.
"What's up?" Michael asked.
"Well, you kept telling me not to regret it, and your attitude toward Camilla… why?" Coulson asked.
Michael shook his head, "It doesn't matter anymore."
"No, this is important to me!" Coulson insisted.
"Okay, fine. I'll tell you. I have the ability to predict the future, but it's not always accurate. I knew she would appear, I knew the rebels would show up, and I knew you'd take her on the plane. Then she would try to take the 084. Although it would eventually be resolved safely, a big hole would be blown in the plane, and you'd get an earful from Nick Fury! But none of that matters now. She's alone, and after seeing my power, if she dares to try anything, she'll be courting death!"
Michael smirked before continuing, "Actually, doing good deeds without anyone knowing isn't that satisfying. If I weren't worried about Skye getting scared, I almost wish something did happen. That way, saving you would have made more sense! Good deeds without recognition? Not my style." Michael said with a grin before walking away.
Coulson hadn't expected any of this. He believed what Michael had said. After all, Michael had no reason to target Camilla without cause. Besides, people... change.
He felt somewhat fortunate. Thankfully, Michael was there, and thankfully, he had those abilities. Otherwise, even if the 084 wasn't stolen, a hole in the plane would have been a big problem.
Moreover, after this incident, Coulson also learned that Michael had the ability to predict the future, and that was a big deal.
Though he knew Camilla had no bad intentions for now, Coulson was still cautious and carefully stored away the 084. He contacted headquarters and prepared to land at a secure location to store the object.
In truth, Camilla had no plans at all.
With Michael's presence alone, she had no chance to act on any ambition. In the face of such overwhelming power, any dangerous thoughts had to be suppressed. So, Camilla obediently stayed quiet until the plane landed, then said goodbye to Coulson and left.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief after the problem was resolved. Especially when they learned that Michael had used his foresight to avert the danger in advance. With Michael around, how many future dangers could be avoided?
After a brief celebration, the plane set course for home.
"Skye, do you want to go out for a walk after we land? Maybe grab something to eat?"
Michael leaned against Skye's door, asking casually.
"Sorry, babe." Skye said apologetically. "I can't. I want to stay and investigate some clues."
"Alright! I'll go for a walk myself. Let me know if you need anything."
Michael smiled and left. Although airplanes were convenient, they couldn't show him the colorful world outside. He wasn't a hedonist, but he also wasn't one to deprive himself.
He decided to head out and find a bar for a drink. Who knows? Maybe he'd have some interesting encounters.
Queens, New York.
Michael, strolling around, checked his phone and found a popular bar nearby. It was said to attract many beautiful women. Following the address, he quickly found the bar. Upon entering, the music was deafening, and men and women filled the place, creating a noisy atmosphere. He glanced around and spotted several attractive women, but they were already with someone. He wasn't interested in starting a jealous competition to win them over.
"Huh? This one's gorgeous, at least a 9 out of 10. Blonde and thick. Not bad... you're it!" Michael spotted a beautiful woman sitting in the corner and immediately made his way over.
He gestured to the bartender, pointing at her glass, "Two of whatever she's drinking."
The blonde glanced at him and said coldly, "If you're trying to hit on me, don't bother. I'm not interested."
"Interests can be developed. Hi, I'm Michael." He said with a grin.
"I don't care who you are or what your name is." The blonde snorted.
Michael shrugged, "Looks like you're in a bad mood. Still, give me some credit here, this is my first failed attempt at chatting someone up."
The bartender placed the drinks down, and Michael pushed one toward her.
The blonde downed her drink, stood up, and staggered away.
"Well, I guess I really did fail," Michael said, shaking his head. He didn't mind. After a few more drinks and some time enjoying the bar's atmosphere, Michael decided to leave.
He couldn't drink much, and he hadn't come to get drunk anyway, just to relax.
After leaving the bar, Michael decided to find a hotel for the night. The room on the plane was nice, but a hotel bed was far more comfortable! A few steps later, he noticed the blonde woman stumbling into a remote alley, followed by someone.
"Seriously? Am I about to save a damsel in distress?" Michael muttered to himself as he quickened his pace.
Even though she had turned him down earlier, he couldn't just stand by and do nothing. Plus, she was a beauty—it would be a waste if something happened just because she was drunk, right?
"Back off!"
Just as Michael approached, the blonde suddenly turned and thrust her hands forward. Instantly, an invisible force struck the man following her, sending him stumbling back several steps.
"Uh… what?" Michael blinked in surprise. He had been gearing up to play the hero, only to find out the woman didn't need saving at all.
