Kamen Rider in DC

Chapter 34: Chapter 34

Perdita tries to help Kamen Rider up, but Haruka feels very dizzy. They hear footsteps and saw a man walking toward them.

The man approaches, his aristocratic features and regal bearing commanding attention. He is clad in an elaborate green and white costume, a high-tech device adorning his head. This is Count Vertigo, a dangerous foe with the ability to induce vertigo and disorientation.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" Vertigo says, his voice dripping with disdain. "A fallen hero and a queen in need of rescue. How delightful."

Perdita recognizes Vertigo and asked what he was doing there. "Count Vertigo," she says, her voice tinged with alarm. "What is the meaning of this?"

Vertigo's lips curl into a cruel smile. "Why, I've come to claim what is rightfully mine, your Highness. The throne of Vlatava belongs to me."

Perdita suddenly feels dizzy, the room spinning around her. She reaches out to steady herself, but the dizziness intensifies. The other officials beside her start to sway, disoriented by Vertigo's powers.

"What have you done?" Perdita asks, her words slurring as she fights to remain conscious.

Vertigo steps closer, his gaze fixed on the struggling queen. "I'm afraid you and your little friends are in my way. But don't worry, your suffering will be brief."

Haruka, still feeling dizzy, watches helplessly as Vertigo's powers overwhelm Perdita and the others. He tries to reach for his Shotriser, but the dizziness is too much, and his vision blurs. Vertigo looms over them, his laughter echoing through the room as he tightens his grip on their senses.

Vertigo aims his pistol at Perdita and says, "Goodbye, your Highness." Haruka tries to move, but the dizziness is too powerful. Before Vertigo could pull the trigger, a Battacandroid appears and knocks the pistol out of Vertigo's hands.

The Battacandroid, a small mechanical grasshopper, leaps into the air and swiftly strikes Vertigo's wrist, causing him to drop the weapon. Vertigo howls in pain and frustration, his fingers flexing as he glares at the diminutive robot.

"Insolent machine!" he spits, his free hand reaching for the device on his head.

Haruka used this chance to tackle Vertigo. Summoning his remaining strength, he lunged forward, crashing into the Count and knocking him off balance. Vertigo cursed as he stumbled, his fingers failing to reach the device on his head.

"You meddlesome fool!" Vertigo spat, lashing out with a wild swing. But Haruka, despite his fatigue, managed to dodge the attack and land a solid punch to Vertigo's jaw, causing the villain to reel back.

Perdita and the other officials, their senses returning, watched the confrontation with a mixture of awe and relief. Seeing an opening, Perdita hurried to Haruka's side.

"We have to get out of here," she urged, her voice tinged with concern. "Can you stand?"

Haruka nodded, gritting his teeth against the lingering dizziness. "Yes, but you all need to run. Vertigo is too dangerous."

Perdita hesitated, unwilling to leave Haruka to face the villain alone, but the Kamen Rider's insistent gaze convinced her. She turned to the other officials, rallying them to follow her lead.

"Everyone, we must leave this place at once," Perdita commanded, her regal bearing restored. "Kamen Rider will hold off our attacker. Go, now!"

The officials, recognizing the gravity of the situation, quickly obeyed, hurrying out of the room with Perdita leading the way. Haruka watched them go, relief washing over him as they escaped Vertigo's reach.

The Count, having regained his footing, glared at Haruka with unbridled fury. "You've meddled in my affairs for the last time, boy," he growled, his fingers once again seeking the device on his head.

Haruka, acting quickly, did not give Vertigo a chance to activate his vertigo-inducing device. He raised the Shotriser and fired a precise shot, knocking the device off Vertigo's head. The villain let out a frustrated growl as the device clattered to the ground.

"You insolent fool!" Vertigo spat, his aristocratic features contorted in rage. He whirled around, calling out to his men who had been waiting in the shadows. "Don't just stand there, you imbeciles! Eliminate him!"

Vertigo's men, a group of armed thugs, stepped forward and leveled their weapons at Haruka. The Kamen Rider tensed, his grip tightening on the Shotriser as he prepared to defend himself.

"Surrender now, boy, and I'll make your death a quick one," Vertigo sneered, his eyes narrowed in contempt.

Haruka stood his ground, unwavering in the face of the overwhelming odds. "I will never surrender to the likes of you, Vertigo," he declared, his voice firm and resolute.

Haruka took out the Trapping Spider Progrisekey and activated it.

[Territory]

Haruka inserted the Trapping Spider Progrisekey into the Shotriser, and the standby noise played.

[Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider] (loop)

Haruka aimed the Shotriser at Vertigo. "Henshin!"

Haruka pulled the trigger.

[Shot Rise]

A bullet flew and curved toward Haruka. Haruka punched the bullet with his left hand, and the bullet shattered into pieces and transformed into different armor parts that attached to Haruka. Haruka transformed into his Trapping Spider form.

The armor was sleek and silver, with purple accents that gave it a spider-like appearance. The helmet featured large, blue compound eyes, and the chest plate had a distinct spider emblem. Mechanical spider limbs, known as Arakune, extended from Haruka's back, adding to his imposing and arachnid-inspired design.

[Trapping Spider]

[No one can escape its web]

Vertigo's eyes widened as he witnessed Haruka's transformation. "Impossible!" he exclaimed, his aristocratic features twisting in disbelief.

The Trapping Spider Kamen Rider stood tall, his body language exuding confidence and determination. He leveled the Shotriser at Vertigo, the weapon's barrel glowing with energy.

"Your going down, Vertigo," Haruka declared, his voice amplified and distorted by the Trapping Spider armor.

Vertigo snarled, his hand reaching for the device on his head, but Haruka was faster. He fired a series of precise shots, knocking the device off Vertigo's head and shattering it on the floor.

"No!" Vertigo cried, his features contorting in panic as he lost his primary means of attack.

The Trapping Spider Kamen Rider advanced, his movements swift and agile. He deployed the Arakune limbs from his back, the mechanical appendages whipping through the air with deadly precision.

Vertigo's men opened fire, but the Trapping Spider Kamen Rider effortlessly deflected the bullets with the Arakune. He lashed out, the spider limbs entangling the thugs and rendering them immobile.

Vertigo, realizing he was outmatched, turned to flee, but the Trapping Spider Kamen Rider was relentless. He fired a volley of web-like projectiles from the Shotriser, ensnaring Vertigo in a sticky, electrified trap.

The Count struggled against the webbing, his cries of frustration echoing through the room. Haruka approached him, the Arakune poised to strike.

"It's over, Vertigo," Haruka said, his voice tinged with a sense of finality. "You've lost."

Vertigo glared at the Kamen Rider, his eyes burning with hatred. "This isn't the end, you fool," he spat. "I will have my revenge!"

Haruka, now transformed into the Trapping Spider Kamen Rider, swiftly punched and knocked out the incapacitated Count Vertigo, webbing him and his henchmen up securely. Satisfied that the villains were contained, Haruka turned his attention toward Perdita and the other officials, determined to ensure their safety.

As he moved closer, the sound of gunfire echoed through the corridors. Perdita and the officials had taken cover, with the security team engaging the intruders in a fierce exchange of bullets. Haruka's enhanced senses detected the chaos unfolding, and he knew he had to act quickly to protect the vulnerable civilians.

Deploying the Arakune limbs from his back, Haruka charged forward, his movements agile and precise. He fired a volley of electrified webbing from the Shotriser, swiftly ensnaring the armed intruders and rendering them immobilized. The security guards, witnessing the Kamen Rider's display of power, watched in awe as he systematically incapacitated the threat.

Perdita and the officials, their eyes widening in amazement, observed the Trapping Spider Kamen Rider's decisive actions. Haruka approached them, his imposing figure offering a sense of reassurance.

"Your Highness, are you and the others okay?" Haruka asked, his voice modulated by the Trapping Spider armor.

Perdita, relieved to see the Kamen Rider unharmed, approached him with a grateful expression. "Thank you for protecting us," she said, her voice tinged with relief. "What happened to Count Vertigo?"

Haruka gestured toward the webbed-up villain, who was struggling against his restraints. "I was able to apprehend him. He's been secured."

Perdita's gaze shifted to Haruka's new armor, her eyes widening in fascination. "This suit, it's different from before. Is it new?"

Haruka nodded, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yes, it is. I recently got it."

Perdita studied the sleek, arachnid-inspired design, her fingers tracing the contours of the armor. "It's quite impressive. I must say, you continue to surprise me, Kamen Rider."

Haruka chuckled, the modulated sound echoing through his helmet. "I aim to keep you on your toes, your Highness," he replied, a playful edge to his tone.
