Jujutsu Kaisen: Nah, I'd Copy

Chapter 38: Megumi Fushiguro

A Month Later...

Kakashi woke up from the soft mattress in his dorm at Jujutsu Tech, he groaned as he looked outside; 5 o' clock in the morning. He went ahead to bathe, brushed his teeth had a change of clothes and finally brought out a book from a drawer.

It contained his schedule for today:

Find a combat teacher

Megumi

That was the only goal he had for today, he had been increasing his proficiency in Ninjutsu so what he really needed was a fighting instructor. He realized that during his fight with Toji he relied too heavily on dodging so he needed to correct that.

A normal solution would be to go to a boxing club or another type of fighting club like miaodao club to practice martial arts; but in the world of sorcerers you had to be unpredictable.

Also he felt like he shouldn't waste much money on it when he can get one for free with enough diligence.

He left the dorm at 9 o' clock before classes started he had something he had to do, according to his calculations a four year child and his 2-3 year old sister living without a parent in their lives and no guardian struggling for money.

Kakashi had narrowed down his searches to three neighborhoods where they could be and he was sure to find them.

He used his shadow clone jutsu creating three identical copies of himself, three of them would search for Megumi and his sister.

As soon as he left the premises of Jujutsu Tech he moved with a burst of speed, he hadn't been granted the title of Jujutsu sorcerer and had no access to cursed energy he couldn't be given an earful for moving like this in a crowd of people.

After some minutes all them arrived at their designated area; the real Kakashi got stuck with Akasaka; a good neighborhood to stay in without bad influences.

If Toji couldn't afford to leave his children here then he couldn't be called a man.

At that moment Kakashi activated his sharingan, it would increase the distance he could see which could be very useful.

Kakashi jumped on one of the buildings and began watching for the people coming out, surely Megumi or Tsumiki would be forced to come out every morning, they couldn't rely on the money their mother left for them.

Toji was such a good father that he didn't even remember his daughter the second time he died but only his son was his passing thought. He was a good father through and through.

Kakashi watched the pedestrians with a bird's eye view, ignoring the adults but only looking for the details of the children (he isn't a pedo...).

After an hour he finally saw a girl, at first he found her hard to recognize because he only knew her brother's feature but since they looked alike he was able to recognize her.

Fushiguro Tsumiki.

She went out of the house in a plain blue shirt with black pants and began walking somewhere, if Kakashi had to guess he would say school.

He followed her for 20 minutes before they finally arrived at the school, he didn't bother with the name as he was sure he would never come again. He watched as the security guard allowed her through the gate and she went into the class.

"Why would they allow her in, does the security guard not know the time? Even Jujutsu Tech doesn't allow this unless you're doing a mission!" Kakashi said quietly to himself.

An idea came to his mind that this guard was a pedophile and was planning to do something very dirty to her but he quickly dismissed it. It was something else.

Kakashi wanted to take a closer look but he stopped, his non-existent stealth skills wouldn't help him here.

Kakashi was only here to talk to Megumi, initially he planned to give them free money but he knew Megumi despite his age would never accept.

So he tried Tsumiki, the one who acted her age.

But now he had to go back to square 1, meeting Megumi.

Kakashi easily traced his earlier steps on the rooftops after five minutes he arrived at where he saw Tsumiki come out from.

Kakashi thought about knocking on the door but ultimately decided not to, Megumi as a child had a cruel mouth and he still had his pride not wanting to be disgraced by a child in front of everyone.

He opened the door, its responded by creaking; a sound that Kakashi really despised.

But once he entered he didn't bother to keep quiet, he tried to create as much noise as possible to call out the boy.

His impression of child Megumi in the anime wasn't the best; he was rude, impolite and never trusted anyone who wasn't Tsumiki.

He was hoping Megumi would run out of the kitchen with a knife and stab him. Out of curiosity he checked the kitchen, it was almost empty except for the standards and even the standards weren't much. But he didn't see Megumi anywhere.

Kakashi went to the bedroom next where he expected Megumi to be, but he only found it after coming across all the other rooms and it was the last on his stop.

The last room unchecked.

'He better be here.' Kakashi thought as he opened the door.

It revealed a simple room painted white, Megumi was on the only bed there with both hands behind his back, Kakashi could guess what was behind him.

'What a warm reception.'

"Who are you?" The boy asked.

"Do you want the straight answer or the child friendly answer?" Kakashi responded with a question.

"I'm the one who killed your father!"

Kakashi was tempted to say that to the boy in front of him but he wasn't ready to tell a child the cold, die-hard truth.

"Child friendly answer it is!" Kakashi declared.

"My name is Kishimoto Kakashi but you can call me... Just forget it."

"What do you want?" Megumi was unfazed with this level of friendliness.

"I want to nothing, just help an innocent young boy for the next 9 months or so." Kakashi answered.

Megumi looked at him as if he was looking at an idiot, he was just a four year old child but acted more matured, like someone who understood the basics of the working of the world.

"Okay. But before I tell you that I need to tell you you're future." Kakashi said as he prepared for a deep breath. "I might want so sit down."

He noticed Megumi's expression.

"Or not."

"Your dad is from a bigshot clan called the Zenin, they value power and when you're father had you they bought you and no they didn't buy your sister. As soon as you reach the age of 5-6 you will awaken your cursed technique; something that separates you from the majority. When you reach 6 they'll take you under their care, teaching you their twisted ways, your father-" Kakashi was about to continue but Megumi interrupted him.

"I don't care about him he left Tsumiki and me, and Tsumiki's mother also left us, they're probably enjoying themselves somewhere." Megumi said without a hint of sadness in his voice.

"You say that but if I show your father's body now you'll start crying."

Megumi didn't respond.

"...If I join the Zenin clan will Tsumiki be happy?" He asked.

'Still a child, how does he expect me to know her!'

"I can guarantee that a hundred percent she wouldn't be happy, she would even think that you betrayed her by leaving her to die."

Kakashi saw a bit of emotion on Megumi's face as he said that part.

"I guess then you'll leave the rest to me, I'll make sure you don't leave your sister." Kakashi got up from the bed and began walking. "But in return I'm going to need you to push yourself until the very limits, that way you'll be able to protect your sister."

"I'll come over much later so don't forget me... Until then, stay safe Megumi." Kakashi walked out of the door leaving a confused Megumi.

'I wonder how I'll train him.' Kakashi thought as he moved atop the rooftops.
