Jujutsu Kaisen: Nah, I'd Copy

Chapter 21: Break A Leg

I mistakenly published chapter 23 in front... So I'll publish 21, 22 and 23 today

.........

Kakashi stared shocked at his removed body part, even Gojo easily finishing of the curse was not enough to draw his attention back.

For Sukuna's sake he had lost a leg, was he destined to become a cripple, because he wanted to prove his senses he abandoned all rationality and went along with the moment and before he knew he lost a leg.

Even the damsel in distress that he had helped had walked away and gone to say a few words to Gojo before turning back to him.

"Was he a deadweight?"

"No, in fact he actually tried charging in but got knocked back so hard that he crashed two houses." Me Mei stated.

Gojo's face turned serious, "so in that case he was completely useless."

".Before he decided to charge in he had clones fighting for him, they were strong and the number he was able to create passed 3."

Gojo put his hand on his chin and began wondering, he then asked: "Did he say the name of his techniques?"

"Actually, he did. He only said it when he used it but he called them rhasengan and shadow clone something."

""I think you mean rasengan." Gojo corrected.

Mei Mei looked flustered, she was embarrassed by the fact that it was her junior that corrected her.

She nodded and did her best to hide her emotions from leaking on her face.

Gojo on the other hand didn't even try to hide his excitement, as someone who read manga and watched anime he was aware of the Naruto manga. The anime style of the techniques had been animated while the manga was black and white.

But as a great digimon fan he would never give anyone money to show him a technique unless it was a world-ending one, perhaps one day someone with world-ending powers would attack him but he would only block with his infinity.

Kakashi was perplexed, what were the two of them doing jabbering when he was at the edge of his blood. Was he really going to die because his saviors were catching up?

"In case you have forgotten, there is an injured body here!" He practically yelled.

Gojo smirked after he said that and went over to the detached leg, he then lifted it up and inspected it. No sign of disgust was evident on his face, obviously he had seen a lot of corpses in this line of work.

"The leg seems to be in good condition apart from the part that it's not connected to your body..." He spared one look at the teen, he had gotten onto his feet... ah, I didn't mean that. I mean he had gotten onto his foot thanks to a small object next to him and was preparing something.

He was currently balancing himself on the small object and sat down on it, the blood leaking down his leg failed to bother him now as he paid no attention to it.

A couple of minutes later Gojo was carrying him on his shoulder like he was a sack while Mei Mei held onto his leg. His leg had basically dried up as it no longer had any blood left there to spill, his leg had cut off in an unusual way causing it to basically look like it had been done by a woodcutter after several minutes of chipping away at it's edges.

The truth was that it had been hit cleanly by a cursed spirit that was about to launch and ultimate attack.

No matter the way Kakashi saw it he came off as lucky, he knew that he only suffered from a barely glancing blow from the cursed spirit. If he was actually hit with a true glancing blow he probably would have been dead.

On paper he was graded as a grade 4 but in strength he was actually measured as a grade 3 sorcerer, however his strength didn't matter if he wasn't alive. There was something crazy about the kind of things he encountered, his luck had been no better than a pile of junk that broke down after its first use.

"Hey, do you think that they'll be able to get my leg together?" Kakashi asked Gojo with uncertainty laced in his voice.

"Would we bring your leg if you had a future as a cripple?" Gojo asked a rhetoric question.

Kakashi relaxed, though Gojo's wording was unsettling he was still able to cope with the feeling of being unable to move a major essential part of his body. It was like you were trying to use your middle finger when someone pissed you off but you suddenly remembered that it wasn't there.

The feeling of waving the finger was barely there and you also got the feeling that you weren't getting airtime.

A/N: Pun not intended.

"Kakashi, would you like to give a detailed explanation of what happened?" Gojo said.

He acted like this with someone he didn't trust completely but still considered an ally, the current Gojo was a few light years from the one he knew. The one who went around telling everyone he considered weak that he would be fine because they're kinda weak!

"We saw dead bodies, we scoured their houses, we left the houses, we found the curse, I found out I didn't have a weapon, I used a technique, I used another technique, Mei Mei fought the curse at close n range, it finished off my technique, she fought for a while, I used another technique and charged in with the first technique I used, I got hit badly and broke through several houses, the curse started charging up an attack, we both dodged but I was slower and my leg came off but I didn't notice, I thought it was over, a snow-white haired figure entered the veil and used a technique, told me that one of my legs was a past tense, I panicked, you exorcised the curse, put me on your shoulders like I was an inanimate object and not a human being, Mei Mei stuffed my leg into a sack, two of you carried me."

"That description was very vague." Mei Mei commented.

"Hmm." Gojo seemed to be in thought.

"It seems like you did an okay-job from what Mei here said, however the major problem is your lack in strength... but oh well, beggars can't be choosers." Gojo finally commented.

Kakashi chewed his finger after Gojo made that, although it also only caused him more pain in the long run it was able to divert his attention away from the fact that his shortcomings were casually tossed aside coldly by this teen.

"Mind you I'm not talking about your overall strength. Your power and control over your techniques is great, your other attributes like defense, endurance, knowledge and other attributes are what you really lack in.

If you want to become a great Jujutsu Sorcerer taking the path of only being efficient in one line of work will make sure you never leave grade 3.

Let me use myself for example, if I were to take that attack head-on I wouldn't have lost a body part. Compare that to yourself who lost an entire leg just from a simple grease from the attack, it basically slid off you!" Gojo explained.

'Look at a mentor.' Kakashi wittily thought.

"Hey, you have no right to compare a noob like me to the one born with both the limitless and six eyes, the one whom his birth basically changed the Jujutsu world when he was born." Kakashi lamented.

"Right, how could someone like you even dream of being a match for me." Gojo chuckled a bit.

Kakashi literally started grinding his teeth together in frustration, in any case where he tried to prove that he was above great for someone who just started his career as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, Gojo just treated his words like a fly trying to get through his infinity.

In other words, an impossibility.

Kakashi knew Gojo was helping him shape himself up, compared to people who have actually faced curses he had almost zero combat experience. Even his two encounters with curses were just him using a rasengan at a battered up special grade and getting hit squarely by a grade 1 and a grazing blow landed on him.

Barely any interactions.

Compared to others who knew what they were doing and had been doing it for a long time before they attended Jujutsu Tech he was a coin among diamonds.

"Enough of that." Gojo suddenly said, his tone turning serious.

"Do you really have cursed energy?"
