Chapter 16: Getting Admission
Kakashi followed the three students of Tokyo Jujutsu High school. The young man with snow-white hair had asked him a few questions: one including whether he was a registered Jujutsu Sorcerer.
He had not thought about it at that time and had replied in the negative, after that he could feel that Gojo's guard went up. He thought about it for a while before realizing that if he wasn't a registered Jujutsu Sorcerer he was a cursed user.
Cursed users had a notoriously bad history considering it was illegal to be one, they were against the laws of jujutsu or had joined organizations like the star religious group. Geto was at his back while Gojo and Shoko were at his front.
They soon reached a bus stop and waited, Shoko had already contacted someone to bring them back. The veil had been put down and it became a very big hit with the media in just a matter of half an hour.
However, the students were more focused on bringing back this cursed user than worrying about the media poking their noses in the affairs of the supernatural. They waited for a while before a black Camry Toyota pulled up.
It was large enough to fit all of them so they got in, however the surprising part was that it was Masamichi Yaga that was driving.
"I don't remember you being a driver." Gojo said.
However, he paid no heed to the snow-white haired student and began checking the rest of them. Out of all of them Shoko was the least bruised and Geto was the most bruised, Geto had a cut on his cheek and many bruises over his battered body.
It was surprising how they were allowed to walk without anyone offering to call an ambulance.
But Gojo's condition shocked Yaga the most; Even against a grade 1 he wasn't the type to break a sweat, the onlyreason he sent Geto and Shoko was so that they would get experience.
"What happened?!" Yaga shouted.
"It was a special grade…" Gojo began.
"Special grade?"
"And it had a domain..." Geto added.
"A domain??" Yaga asked shakily, barely able to stop his voice from being shaky.
"…yeah, but it was weaker than I expected. We were able to exorcize it without losing anything." Gojo finished.
"You're one to talk." Geto then turned to Yaga. "The curse almost finished him with one attack."
"Was it a sure hit domain?" He didn't even want to get to the part where Gojo was almost killed.
"No. It just increased the power of its attack by… did it say several fold or several tenfold?" He asked Geto.
"It said several ten folds." Suguru said emphasizing on the s.
"Multiplying its attack power by several tenfolds and giving every attack an 80% chance increase to hit us regardless of how it was launched." Gojo finished.
"It also cut Rainbow Dragon into two with minimal effort." Suguru added.
Rainbow Dragon was not only one of the strongest grade 1 curses Geto had, but it was also one of the strongest grade 1's to exist. Its tough skin made it impenetrable to cursed weapons below grade 1 and very few grade 1 cursed weapons were able to pierce its skin.
And due to Geto's master coordinator skills he was able to use it flawlessly and use it to execute attacks while evading attacks.
"I see." Yaga said after regaining his calm, "I'll inform the higher-ups that it was a special grade."
"Why are you the one who picked us up?" Shoko finally said.
"I was told to provide backup for you guys in case it was a group of peak grade 1's."
"If all the grade 1's gathered I would just use blue to exorcise them." Gojo said with a smirk.
Yaga's eyes finally trailed from his three students who were okay to the last person who was in the backseat. He looked like Gojo but didn't at the same time; he had the same hair color, but his eyes were black and his nose and mouth was covered with a mask.
"Who is this kid?"
"Oh, he's just a cursed user."
'Ouch. I technically use chakra so I'm not a cursed user.'
Yaga:...
"Why the hell would you bring a cursed user here?!"
"Relax, he isn't hostile. If he was hostile he would already be dead."
Kakashi kept quiet throughout the whole ordeal and didn't move his lips, he let the other people explain his situation and how he had a peculiar name and a technique that related to a manga.
"If that's the case why didn't you tell me that before?" Yaga said as he turned around and began driving.
Outside the car there were more than a dozen people hitting violently at the car window because of the heavy traffic that the teacher had caused. People had places to be and people to see but apparently not this guy.
"We should probably go before they carry a rock and break the window." What he meant was that they should pick up the pace before the angry mob caught up to them.
Soon they arrived at the school, they all got out and went into the principal's office. The principal was the connection between the school and the higher-ups, after every mission they were supposed to report to him.
They were paid for each mission as a reimbursement for their work, although the amount paid was half of what a graduate will get paid it was still something.
Yaga opened the door to the principal's office and he walked in followed by his students and the "cursed user", the principal looked up with minimal interest. They could finally see his head because he was almost done with the paperwork for this week.
"Who's this?" The principal asked Yaga.
The style of this room wasn't the traditional style but a modern room with a chair and table.
"He's someone who can use cursed energy but isn't registered as a Jujutsu sorcerer." Yaga said, careful not to say cursed user but still talking about cursed users.
"You mean a cursed user."
"Haha… yes." The awkward laughter showing his nervousness in front of the grade 1 sorcerer.
"What happened on the mission that you brought a cursed user to the school, the only way he would be able to pass Master Tengen's barrier would mean he was allowed in."
"You see, he just found out how to use his cursed technique and helped these students exorcize the special grade curse?"
"Special grade?!" The old man rubbed his eyes.
"Yes, it wasn't a peak grade 1 it was a special grade that had both a domain and a cursed technique that allowed it to use psychic powers." Suguru asserted.
"Hmm…" The old man began stroking his long beard.
"If that's the case…" The old man stood up an walked towards Kakashi.
He touched the young boy who was as tall as Shoko by the shoulder.
"Once I hear the full detail I'll take this young man and see if we can make him an official jujutsu sorcerer." The old man showed an understanding that was uncommon for people his age.
"Yaga, you handle the paperwork until I come back." The old man walked out of the office with all the students leaving a bewildered Yaga with paperwork in the office.
He begrudgingly sat on the chair and began filling it out.
…
"Is that everything?" The principal asked.
Geto had been the one to narrate the story as he was the only one who had an insight view on its attack and remained conscious. He told him about the curse's clever use of its technique as it even managed to mimic infinity.
"And you say that he came in with a 'mini-blue' floating in his hand and he used that to attack the tired cursed spirit." The principal asked.
"Yes."
"Well if he is who he claims I can assure you that he will become a jujutsu sorcerer." The principal said before pulling out his phone.
Kakashi understood that they were talking about him as the only part of the fight he said was the domain, the damage caused and the part where he intervened.
Geto had made sure to exclude the part where Gojo became maniacal and began laughing while in someone else's domain.
