Chapter 11: Gojo's POV (2)
A young man with snow-white hair laid down on a bed, surrounding him was a standard couch, a LED TV and a standard living room. There were other rooms that were dedicated to this single room in the Jujutsu Tech living area.
The young man on the bed was the heir to the Gojo clan: Gojo Satoru, born with the six eyes at birth and also armed with the indispensable Limitless Technique of his clan. He was currently one of the strongest sorcerer, in first place was Yuki (special grade).
The limitless technique had multiple variations: Infinity, Amplification Blue, Reversal Red, a secret technique and even a domain expansion known as Infinite Void, armed with the six eyes that reduces all the cursed energy spent to nearly zero no matter how much cursed energy spent is much.
Gojo was currently favored (by almost everyone) that in a few years he would be the strongest sorcerer known to man. But there was one problem not known to many others… He couldn't figure out how to use Reverse Cursed Technique!
His hand was lifted up, there was faint cursed energy on his fingertips as he tried to manipulate the cursed energy into reverse cursed energy.
"Ahh, why can't I seem to get it?! I'm almost sure Geto is ahead of me because whenever he looks at me practicing RCE he has that mocking look on his face!" Gojo complained.
Throwing himself into the air Gojo began practicing martial arts technique that he had learned from watching television. Being blessed with a great learning capability became sort of a blessing to him; it allowed him to drown himself for some time by learning a new skill.
An-Hour-Later…
"Alright, I'm done here." The young man with snow-white hair in Jujutsu Tech uniform said to himself before exiting.
He had done enough practice to satisfy himself today, with this he should still have some time to immerse himself in truly enjoyable things.
As soon as he left his living area and made way for outside he heard the voice of his teacher, Masamichi Yaga call him.
"Satoru, stay right there." Yaga ordered him as he came walking.
He wasn't trying to hurry as there wasn't anything to be rushing, the fact that he had called meant that there was a mission.
These days he barely did missions by himself, he only did that when he was in the Gojo clan. Since he had entered Jujutsu Tech he had gone on more missions and had gone with companions than the years he had lived.
Unsurprisingly since he alone was the honored one and his birth shifted the balance of the world, it meant that since he was the humans' advantage the cursed spirits appearance ratio would be impressive.
He didn't have a solution now but he had one for the future: He would get students who would go on the missions for him, and he would take most of the profit! It was pure genius that could only be done and executed by the honored one: Gojo Satoru!
"Where are Geto and Shoko?" The teacher asked.
"I have no idea." Was the answer.
Yaga shook his head as if he was dealing with a child before telling him to stay here that he'll be back.
Gojo didn't complain, he just sat on a chair in the long hallway as he thought about the most pressing issue on his mind: RCE.
The higher-ups were becoming more of a pest to him, his father spent more time trying to make him guilty when they only saw him as a tool that would be used to make the Gojo clan the undisputed strongest, Nanami was ahead of him in RCE, Geto was ahead of him in RCE!
These problems were the most pressing and the ones he hated the most.
"Sometimes I wish my domain expansion didn't have a barrier." He sighed.
With that he wouldn't have to worry about his RCT so much, he would have an undisputed domain expansion and would instantly be promoted to special grade.
After a few minutes Yaga came back with Shoko and Geto in tow, both of them showing mild interest when they saw Satoru.
"Seems like you had a good time training." Geto said.
"Of course, I just hacked the server and created my very own Digimon in my own image." Gojo joked.
"Sure that world needs a Satoru anyway." Geto played along.
"Another honored one in another world!"
"Stop joking around!" Yaga ordered as he bonked Geto and Gojo on their heads.
"I know you're wondering why you all haven't been given a mission briefing I'm about to give you one now:
The reason all three of you have been called together is to investigate a cursed spirit that has been reported to the news. This is very unusual as normal humans can't see curses and it has been confirmed that the man doesn't have cursed energy, he also reported to have gotten a glimpse of it and it didn't attack him so we know it must have been the mere aura that caused that.
The media now has gotten wind; even if it is a glimpse of curses from the man's description the media would turn it into something very close to the truth. So, to prevent any more sightings three of you will be sent to the last known location and are instructed to exorcise the cursed spirit.
The cursed spirit is estimated to be at the peak of Grade 1 so…" Geto interrupted Yaga as he had a question.
"Don't we have a special grade for these kind of stuff?" He asked.
There was no use putting one of the future's greatest healer and two potential special grades if something bad hadn't happened to the current special grade. At least all of them could be sent on the mission together.
"She is currently in Africa and she says she has discovered something big so they can't send her back yet." Yaga explained.
"She has discovered vacation Satoru, I think you should learn from her." Geto told his best friend.
Yaga did not mind the interruption but continued quickly afterward.
"You will be sent to the last known location. However I must warn you not to do your best… you must push yourself!"
With that Yaga went back, he went towards the direction of the principal's office to inform him that the mission briefing had been done.
Gojo was always on his wits whenever it came to the position of the messenger for Jujutsu Tech, he was afraid that if Yaga got the position he would become the next messenger.
Soon enough one of the assistants came, he led them into the car before driving to the location. The three 2nd year students shared the backseat and discussed about their strategy.
The peak of grade 1 was no joke, especially when Gojo had not mastered his RCT and Shoko would need to be protected throughout the fight.
"Is that the plan?" Shoko asked confused after they were done.
The plan was actually quite good but it seemed too shabby for a fight against a peak grade 1. Even if curses couldn't evolve from grade 4 to grade 1 the amount of battle prowess a peak grade 1 would have is not to be underestimated.
"We're here." The man said hastily.
Gojo, Geto and Shoko could sense it, the aura this thing was emitting was too much. It seemed to be giving off a sequel to its true might!
"Mr. Yaga told me to inform all of you about the probability of this being more than a grade 1. He had said that there is a possibility that this could be a pack of grade 1's so you shouldn't be too intimidated, he said it should be around 10-15 of them.
He said that I should remind Gojo to put down the veil and that if he comes out of here alive but he forgot to hold down the veil he should be ready for what he will see."
They all got out of the car and watched the man drive off. The car left with a typical sound before driving off, this could be the last fight of their lives.
The car gave off no chance of hope returning if this opponent was stronger than what was speculated.
This was "Kaisen!"
A/N: Who out of all of us knows the meaning of Kaisen.
It means… no I shouldn't spoil it.
