The situation in the Sendai colony seemed far more controlled than in Tokyo 1. This was mainly thanks to Yuta, who had eliminated the major threats and wiped out most of the curses in the city.

However, the concentration of power was also a factor that made the colony somewhat more peaceful. With only Uro and Ryu as powerful players, since Yuta appeared to have left the colony, there were no endless battles for territory as the two did not interact with each other.

The atmosphere was calm, and aside from curses that hid at the sight of him, Itadori found nothing that caught his attention.

About an hour had passed since his battle with Ryu, and during his search for Uro, he stopped a few times to treat the wounds on his arms.

His body, besides being abnormally powerful, recovered from injuries faster than ordinary people. Damage like torn skin wasn't enough to make him stop to rest, and as long as he could see Shoko later, he wouldn't have to worry about scars.

Fortunately, his injuries were no more than superficial. Ryu was dangerous, no doubt, but by strengthening his body and avoiding creating distance, the reincarnated sorcerer didn't have the space to freely use his beams.

"But that attack after the domain expansion was dangerous." Checking the bandages wrapped around his forearms as he walked through the empty streets, Itadori muttered. "If I'd been a bit slower, instead of the skin on my arms, it would've been my face."

He shuddered at the thought of his face being hit directly. The heat didn't bother him, but the impact would've been enough to tear off a large part of it.

"If his technique weren't so simple, it'd be a good addition."

With a technique that allowed him to copy any other, it was natural to think the best course of action was to steal any technique that appeared before him.

But that was far from necessary. Itadori didn't want to stack technique upon technique, as even though his brain could handle it, the information could confuse him.

Why add low-quality books to his library? Ryu's technique, while powerful in the reincarnated sorcerer's hands, was so simple it could be replicated as long as Itadori practiced cursed energy release enough.

Besides, he had come to the colony with one goal in mind: to copy Uro's technique.

His battle with Ryu was just a distraction on his path.

"Even so, this could take a while..." His eyes wandered over the deserted city, a bit of weariness in his expression.

The barrier covered an enormous territory, and finding anyone in such a vast space would be challenging even for him with his projection sorcery.

"Luckily, I've got time before I need to leave." Relaxing his shoulders, he cracked his fingers as he searched for any cursed energy signature. "Eventually, I'll find her."

Itadori doubted Uro would hide, and if she'd seen his battle with Ryu, it was only a matter of time before she revealed herself. After all, she was probably no different from others when it came to craving a fight.

"Alright." Cursed energy enveloped his body, the strange sound of animation frames echoing as an indication of his projection sorcery activating. "I'll pick up the pace."

To find his target faster, he'd test the limits of his technique.

.

"Quite fascinating…"

Sitting in a chair in a room lit by the flames of a fireplace, Kenjaku, having just received information from one of his curses about what was happening inside the colonies, wore a look of interest.

He followed Itadori's movements, and although his curse couldn't get too close to avoid detection, Kenjaku could understand a bit of what Itadori was up to.

Still, it was intriguing that even while observing him, Kenjaku—one of the most brilliant minds in the Jujutsu world—found himself unable to discern Itadori's plans.

Itadori had long ceased to be just a pawn in Kenjaku's eyes. Now, his son fascinated him in a way few others had.

Being unable to predict someone's next moves… It had been a long time since Kenjaku faced such a situation.

"He could become a threat."

The ancient curse user didn't react when these words reached him, his ever-calm eyes turning to the one who had made the declaration.

The one and only Uraume, Ryomen Sukuna's direct subordinate.

Also present in the room, she too had heard the information relayed by the curse and couldn't help but keep her own thoughts to herself—a fact that annoyed Kenjaku slightly.

"He's growing stronger every day. If this continues, he could interfere with Lord Sukuna's return."

Kenjaku didn't seem bothered by Uraume's words. Itadori's growth was undeniable, but it wasn't something to worry about unless his plans were long-term, which wasn't the case. Even Satoru Gojo, with his incredible talent, had required time to solidify his position as the strongest.

What Itadori was doing was, at most, a source of fascination—not fear.

"The only reason we formed this alliance is because of Lord Sukuna." Uraume, noticing she was being ignored, spoke in a venomous tone, making it clear she wanted her words taken seriously. "So do your part and deal with it."

Kenjaku chuckled at her threatening attitude. "He won't be a problem, but if you're so agitated, I can handle the situation."

Rising from his chair, Kenjaku shrugged as he made his way to the exit of the room with his usual composed demeanor, not needing to signal for Uraume to follow him.

"I was saving this for a more appropriate occasion, but I can make an exception."

Reaching an open field littered with the bodies of players from the Culling Game, Kenjaku spoke with an air of mystery, Uraume narrowing her eyes as she followed.

"Behold…"

Cursed energy gathered in his hands before being launched forward in a purple hue, growing in size like a sphere of pure cursed power.

"You're experienced in this, so you should know curses originate from humans' negative emotions, and fear is the emotion that births the most powerful curses."

The sphere began to take shape, its body stretching toward the skies as an enormous amount of cursed energy spread in all directions, drawing the attention of curses hiding nearby.

'Such an enormous amount of cursed energy,' Uraume observed silently, surprised by the cursed energy spreading like fierce ocean waves.

"My cursed technique allows me to subjugate curses to serve me, and this one, in particular, was especially difficult to subjugate." Kenjaku smiled, his hair swaying with the pressure emanating from the forming curse. "I found it in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea, very close to the territory of the Arab countries."

"The embodiment of an ancient fear, as old as the Jujutsu society itself, founded by Tengen."

The curse shone intensely, its enormous body extending to a size easily reaching 20 meters.

!

"A creature mentioned in ancient texts, tied to human beliefs in a higher power that created them from clay." Kenjaku's smile widened as his eyes rested on the massive creature before him, now fully revealed. "Also known as Jormungandr in other beliefs, the beast of the end…"

Uraume took a step back as the curse lowered its head, its serpentine visage possessing eyes far too intelligent for a mere creature.

"Leviathan!"

Kenjaku turned to Uraume with a smug look, prompting her to click her tongue in irritation. "This should be more than enough to handle Itadori Yuji, don't you think?"

An enormous surge of cursed energy radiated from the biblical beast's body, seemingly reinforcing its master's words.

Uraume, narrowing her eyes, simply shrugged as she turned to head back inside. "Just get it done."

"Mm~ Such a sour mood…" Kenjaku shook his head in displeasure, his eyes following Uraume for a moment before turning to the curse behind him.

"Find Itadori Yuji, and if possible, capture him.

Under no circumstances are you to kill him."
