- Finally that crazy broad was off. She came to me to fix my rapier, which ironically I had broken. As if there were no more blacksmiths in the capital, she had to come to me, and she asked me some strange questions...' I said, surprised at my luck.

While Esdeath's rapier was being heated in the crucible, I pulled out of my spatial pocket the huge sword I had taken from the back of the fire-ice dragon. It was a two metre long sword, such a sword is quite handy for killing large monsters, but when you know how to launch energy sickles from the sword, the size of the sword is not as important as its quality and energy conduction.

The sword was originally of good quality, but it was made of ordinary materials, but now that it had been in the dragon's body for a thousand years, the metal had acquired some interesting properties. While I was busy forging Esdeath's rapier, I threw it into my magical furnace, where it melted and split into three layers of metal in the crucible, the top layer was a layer of metal that took a long time to cool down, and when it did, it was silver in colour, the middle layer was ordinary steel, and the bottom layer consisted of hard, unmelted blue pieces of metal that were cold to the touch.

When I touched the metal of Esdeath's rapier recently, it was also cold because of the accumulated Ice Qi. In order to forge Esdeath's rapier, I had to triple the temperature in the furnace, the metal of the billet didn't want to melt at a temperature of 1,500 degrees, so I had to add the liquid from the fire dragon's glands to the flames, which raised the temperature to almost 5,000 degrees, only then was it possible to heat the billet properly. It felt like the rapier was not made of steel but of tungsten, and it was not easy to forge it, the metal cooled down too quickly, an ordinary blacksmith could hardly forge Esdeath's rapier, I had to put quite a lot of Ki into the hammer blows... it would be a pity to give this rapier to Esdeath later, but I couldn't do a bad job either, it was my professional pride.

So, while I was struggling with the rapier, I tried to melt those blue cold pieces of metal, and I had to heat them up to almost eight thousand degrees before they started to melt. Well, tomorrow I will forge my sword from this metal, it was not so much, but I will add metal from ice and fire monsters, as well as the metal that was on top of the crucible. For the armour, I'll use the metals from both the ice and fire monsters, so that Esdeath won't be able to freeze me at all.

I hardened Esdeath's rapier in the blood of an ice dragon, and it was even better after my reshaping... it's a shame to give such a good weapon to such a sick in the head maniac.

When I was putting the hilt on the rapier, it was already evening, and as soon as I put the weapon into the scabbard, Esdeath came to the forge to get her order.

- On time, well done, blacksmith. - Esdeath took her weapon in her hands, - Decent work. - she examined the blade.

Then she looked at me and attacked me with lightning speed, trying to cut off my head with the rapier I had just forged for her.

- What the hell?! - I dodged.

- I was just checking your reaction, you said you were a hunter, so I thought I'd see if you were lying. If you didn't dodge, it would mean that you are a weakling, not worthy of life. - Esdeath replied, and attacked me again, trying to pierce my heart.

- Crazy woman! - I did a pirouette, dodging the lunge, and during that I took one of the swords off the wall, which I used to fend off several more attacks of Esdeath.

- Great, you really know how to fight. - Esdeath smiled and put her rapier back into its scabbard, 'Here's the payment. - she pulled a pouch of coins from her belt.

- Get out of here! You can spend the money for your work on your treatment, you sick in the head fool! - I said, pointing my sword at the door and then pointing it at Esdeath.

- Oh, don't take offence, nothing bad happened. - Esdeath said, putting the bag of coins on the counter.

- Get out, you nutcase! - I took the bag and put it back into the hands of the madwoman and pushed her out of the smithy, then closed the door in her face, - You're a head case! - Esdeath heard one last time.

≪Yes, as beautiful as she is, she's just as badly off her head.≫

Esdeath stood outside my door for a few minutes until a soldier came to her and told her that the Fallen had been tracked down on her orders, only to be found decapitated on the outskirts of the capital, next to the corpses of thirty armed men, with a pair of leaflets found on the corpses of her subordinates, one depicting an owl against the moon and the other a tiger against the moon. Looking at these leaflets, Esdeath asked to be taken to the place where the corpses of the Fallen were found.

Today I've spent more time with Esdeath's rapier than with my sword... it would probably be easier to make a forge somewhere in the mountains than to work in this one with a crazy ice woman walking around outside the window..... Now that Esdeath is around, in addition to making weapons, I need to set up a new forge. It's not an option to set up my workshop at the Night Raid base, if that base is revealed to the enemy, I'll have to change it. I'll still work in this house, but once it's revealed that I'm helping the Night Raid, I won't be able to use this forge.

I kind of have a pocket world, but the schizophrenia is building something there, and there's a lot of junk lying around, mostly giant monster corpses.

Half an hour later, after one crazy girl left me, I went to the Night Raid base, where the girls were just about to have dinner. Najenda had been training with the squad while I was away hunting, now we had a new Night Raid member to train too, and judging from the fact that Spear was tired, that's what they were doing today.

- Gin-Gin, give me some meat. - Akame greeted me when she saw me. All the plates Akame could reach were already empty, the other girls moved a little away from our red-eyed glutton so she wouldn't start eating off their plates too.

- Do you want to hear a joke? - I asked, giving the meat to Akame, who started to eat it raw, and Spear looked at it strangely, 'Anyway, Esdeath came to my smithy today...' I began to recount recent events, describing everything in detail.

- She was acting strange. - Najenda remarked, after listening to the whole story.

- Strange? Yes, she is crazy, even my schizophrenia agrees with that. - After Esdeath, even Mayne seems like a nice, sweet girl, even though she's not.

- Shut up!' Maine threw the spoon she was eating the pie with at me.

- At least she's throwing spoons, not trying to cut your head off. - I caught the spoon and gave it to Mein, who took offence at me, but the pie needed something to eat, so she took it.

- Gin, stop hurting Mein. - said Leone.

- I just like the way she reacts to what I say, and I think she's a good girl... just a little flat around the chest. - So, after another encounter with Esdeath, when she attacked for no reason at all, I thought I needed some kind of defence against surprise attacks. I don't care if I get my head chopped off, I can grow a new one or put the old one back, but if Maine gets her head chopped off, that's the end of her. Now I can already create some small artefacts, for example, in the form of a bracelet that can create a protective barrier around the user. I could also make some sort of signal for help when the barrier is triggered, so that I know exactly when someone is being attacked and needs help. Now that they're putting together an elimination team against Night Raid, such a precautionary measure wouldn't be out of place.

- Oh Gin, you're worried about our lives, how nice, considering that just a short while ago you wanted to kill us. - Leone remarked.

- It's just that my first impression of Night Raid wasn't very good, and all because of one busty con artist. - I looked at Leone carefully, but she looked away and started drinking her beer.

- Okay, we're done for the day, you can rest now. Spear, Leone will continue to train you tomorrow. Akame, you're going to be hobbling around at night anyway, so you'll take watch while Lubbock and his threads are gone. - said Najenda.

- Hohosho. - Akame replied inaudibly with a piece of meat in her mouth.

- By the way, I can create artifacts for the signal system, and I can also create a defence system for the base, or a cloaking artifact to create the illusion that this is a bare rock and not a Night Raid base. I don't have much time, though. - I said.

- What's the fastest way to make it look like? - Najenda asked.

- I think the signalling system will be the easiest to make, the cloaking is a bit harder and longer, and the most difficult is the protective barrier system.

- Then let's do the first one, and then we'll take it from there. Come on, Gin, Shelley, let's go, it's time to reward someone. - Najenda said, biting her lip seductively.

- Good night, girls. - I said, hugging Shelly and Najenda and walking with them to the bedroom.

- You'd better soundproof your bedroom, because your moaning is making it hard to sleep! - Mein shouted.

- Why... what's that? - Spear asked Leone and Mein, Akame was now finishing her dinner.

- They're sleeping... the three of them, though I wanted to join them too, but Gin has a grudge against me because of an incident during the time we met him. - Leone replied, and after drinking a beer, she wanted to eat it with a piece of meat, but no way, Akame is not slumbering.

- I see... daddy had a few concubines too. - Spear replied, and hearing Najenda's loud moan, she blushed heavily.

In the bedroom, Najenda became my first victim, with her making Shelly watch us during sex, and waiting meekly for her turn. A couple of hours of lovemaking was quite enough for Najenda, after which she graciously allowed me to use Shelly's arse as much as I wanted. While Shelly waited, I got really turned on when she got up from her seat, it was all wet, but she waited for a good reason, I took care of her back hole until morning.

To be honest I like Shelly better, she definitely has feelings for me, Najenda cares for me too, but first and foremost I'm an incredibly useful unkillable fighter for her and a craftsman that can make a Teiga in a week. I have a little bit of a feeling that she's using me, but still, she's using me for something I could do for free, and now I get to have sex with her... damn, I'm getting too much like my schizophrenia.

As I was leaving for my house this morning, I caught Leone and Spear training in front of the base.

- So you know how to fight with a spear, now let's see how you can swing your fists. - said Leone.

- Oh, I was trained at the Kouken Temple, and I'm a rank nine Imperial Fist. - Spear said, glancing at me for a moment and blushing.

- And I'm not trained in any temples, but I'll kick your arse anyway. - Leone used her Teygu, turning into a half-lioness.

- You've got Teygu, and I've got nothing.

- Nobody said it was gonna be a fair fight. You've been bragging about your rank in the Imperial Fist, so show me what you're worth. - Leone started attacking Spear. Both girls were busty blondes who were quite enjoyable to watch, but I had a mountain of things to do.

Esdeath's rapier was a bit of a pain yesterday, but my sword was much worse, as the material was much better and required more effort to work with. At lunchtime, I wanted to go out for ice cream, but when I saw Esdeath sitting in the cafe, staring at my forge, I decided to do without ice cream today.

- Why is she sitting there? Doesn't she have anything to do, I thought she was a general? - I took one last look at her through the window and went on with my work. Esdeath probably doesn't have anything to do. She was invited here to hunt the Night Raid, and she's demanded the owners of Teigu, so she's probably waiting for her squad to be assembled. I killed her Fallen, and her army is in the north, so she can only wait and eat ice cream, and this cafe has some of the best ice cream in the capital.

After some more tweaking of the sword, I decided to rest and work on the signal system, as well as artifacts for the personal protection of the Night Raid members, plus it would be a good idea to implement intercom systems. Strangely enough, I was helped quite well by the knowledge of a weirdo that in my previous life wanted to create a virtual trap game for thousands of people, he created quantum photonic computers in crystals. I absorbed the memory of this weirdo, but his knowledge surfaced to me gradually, together with knowledge from schizophrenia.

For a week I was busy creating the sword, and the signalling system was made in five days, and in a day it was installed on the base. The signalling system worked on ultraviolet and infrared invisible laser beams, with which the base was now illuminated all over the area. The device was installed on the top of the mountain, where our base was located, around the base the system created a dense dome of laser beams, if the enemy goes beyond the perimeter of this dome, the system will immediately fix it and start tracking. This system would be more reliable than the Lubbock threads, which could be bypassed, which I did several times when I attacked the Night Raid. The laser beams would pick up even invisible targets based on the heat generated by the enemy's body. The information about the enemy would be sent to my arm bracelet, and I would make the same bracelets for the rest of the squad, which would also have built-in protection and a communicator.

I had enough magical metal not only for the sword, but also to forge my tiger blade, and to be honest, although the hilt with the tiger's head looked very cool, but it didn't add any comfort when grabbing the blade. Functionality is more important for weapons than beauty, although the blades of the sword and dagger turned out to be very beautiful bluish with diamond-shaped pattern because of the fact that the blades were forged using Damascus steel technology.

Now I have to make armour too, because Esdeath is making me nervous. Every day she goes to the cafe across the street, eats ice cream and stares at my forge, because of her I have to buy ice cream in the evening to have something to eat the next day while working. It's not until the evening that she leaves, and since I finished my sword and dagger at lunchtime today, and I haven't seen that crazy woman, I went to test my new weapon on monsters in the nearest forest, which was southeast of the capital, that is, on the opposite side of the Night Raid base... that's where I ran into Esdeath, who also decided to amuse herself by killing beasts.

- I'll go somewhere else. - I said quietly, hoping that the ice woman wouldn't notice me, but she fell in front of me like an ice comet just a second later.

- What a nice meeting, Gin, decided to finally come out of your forge to sprinkle your new sword with blood? - Esdeath asked with a smile.

- And I see you have not gone to the doctor, General Esdeath. - I said, holding the sword in my hand, I feel now it will have to be tested on the one against whom it was originally created, only according to the plan I should still be wearing armour, but now it is only on the drawings.

- Well, actually, I've been to Dr Stilish, and he called me perfectly stylish. - Esdeath replied.

- Some wrong doctor, and he gives the wrong diagnoses.

- Gin-Gin, I like that you are not afraid of me, many people are terribly afraid of me, but still, a little respect you should show me, and I will give it to you. - She pointed her rapier at me and then rushed towards me to attack.

- I knew it. - I pulled out my dagger, which was fixed on my waist, to block the first blow of the crazy woman, and counterattacked with my sword. Esdeath smiled and created a second ice dagger in her hand, but when Esdeath's ice and my new blades came into contact, the ice just disappeared, which surprised Esdeath. As it turned out, if you combine the energy of Ice and Fire, you get an energy that melts Ice and extinguishes Fire. Even if you take ordinary ice and throw it into a flame, you get steam, which will also extinguish fire and melt ice, so my sword now has these properties.

- Interesting, what kind of sword is it? - Esdeath asked, making a direct lunge, while sending several blocks of ice at me.

- Exclusive work, specially against the ice monsters of the north. - I deflected backwards, while making a cross-shaped movement with my weapon, releasing two energy waves from my blades, which melted the ice flying towards me. If Esdeath tries to ice me like last time, my blades won't help me, that's why I need armour... which I don't have... I guess I'll just have to run away from that ice woman.

- Ha ha, you're even more interesting than I thought. - Esdeath decided to focus only on her rapier attacks, and she was no longer restrained as before.

Esdeath came at me like a fury and attacked me like a madwoman... although why 'like'? She's definitely insane. I couldn't keep up with her without armour, and she wounded me several times, but when she saw how quickly my wounds healed, Esdeath smiled even wider, and increased the pressure, and started slashing at me as if she wanted to see how fast I could heal them.

- That's just great. - Esdeath stopped suddenly, before slitting my throat, which recovered in seconds, -You're just perfect. - She smiled broadly and searched her jacket for something, soon pulling out a collar from an inside pocket.

- Here... wait, where is it? - Esdeath looked around, but I moved into the domain,' Gin, where are you? Did you run away? I'll find you. - Esdeath started trying to track me down, but when she got far enough away, I appeared at the same place, then I went invisible and ran to my house in the capital, where I took all my things and left a note on the door that I was fed up with the current government, and especially General Esdeath, so I joined the revolution.

Well, I'll have to work at the Night Raid base for now, and then I'll find a new place for the forge, I can make a cave deep in the mountain and forge my artefacts there like a dwarf.
