Jordan's adventure in the Pokémon world

Chapter 33: Chapter - 33

3rd person POV –

Sinnoh League Semifinals: Jordan Smith vs. Sakura Kiyama

The stadium was electric with anticipation. The Sinnoh League Semifinals had drawn thousands of fans from across the region, and the chatter of the crowd reflected the excitement for the battle ahead. Banners waved in the stands, many supporting the fan-favorite Jordan Smith from Sandgem Town, a trainer who possesses Pokémon of extraordinary size and power, including two rare Alpha Pokémon.

His opponent, Sakura Kiyama, was no stranger to the spotlight. Hailing from Eterna City, she was renowned for her elegant yet devastating mastery of Grass-type Pokémon. The contrast in their styles promised an unforgettable battle.

The announcer's voice echoed across the stadium. "Ladies and gentlemen! The Sinnoh League Semifinals begin now! On one side, we have the prodigy from Sandgem Town, Jordan Smith! And on the other, the strategist from Eterna City, Sakura Kiyama! Trainers, send out your first Pokémon!"

On the Giant Television Screen – Round One: Vespiquen vs. Ludicolo

Jordan tossed his first Poké Ball into the air, and with a burst of light, Vespiquen emerged. The crowd gasped. Towering at nearly twice the usual size of her species, Vespiquen hovered regally, her wings emitting a deep, ominous hum.

"Jordan leads with his massive Vespiquen!" the announcer exclaimed. "An intimidating start!"

Sakura wasn't fazed. She released Ludicolo, its festive demeanor a stark contrast to Vespiquen's commanding presence. Rain clouds gathered almost instantly as Ludicolo executed Rain Dance, drenching the battlefield.

"Use Defend Order, Vespiquen!" Jordan called out.

The queen bee Pokémon summoned a swarm of glowing Combee, forming a protective shield around her. The crowd marveled at how the raindrops refracted off the shimmering swarm, creating a dazzling display.

"Ludicolo, Ice Beam!" Sakura ordered.

The icy ray shot through the rain, but Vespiquen's fortified defenses withstood the attack.

"Now, Attack Order!" Jordan countered.

The swarm launched toward Ludicolo in a coordinated assault, striking it repeatedly. Ludicolo staggered but regained its footing.

Sakura's eyes narrowed. "Ludicolo, Energy Ball!"

The green orb zipped through the rain and hit Vespiquen, disrupting her formation. Jordan didn't hesitate. "Finish it with Air Slash!"

The slicing blade of wind struck Ludicolo, knocking him out. The crowd erupted into applause, amazed by Vespiquen's overwhelming power.

On the Giant Television Screen – Round Two: Alpha Gyarados vs. Torterra

As Sakura returned Ludicolo, she smiled confidently. "Let's see how you handle this. Torterra, it's your time!"

The massive Grass/Ground Pokémon stomped onto the field, its tree-covered back casting a shadow. Torterra roared, shaking the ground beneath it.

Jordan grinned. "Let's give them a real show! Gyarados, you're up!"

The Poké Ball released an Alpha Gyarados, and the audience collectively gasped. This Gyarados was colossal, easily over 30 feet long, its scarred body a testament to battles fought and won. Its roar echoed like thunder, and even Torterra hesitated.

"This is incredible!" the announcer cried. "An Alpha Gyarados! A rare sight even in the wild!"

Sakura quickly composed herself. "Torterra, Stone Edge!"

Sharp rocks erupted from the ground, targeting Gyarados. Jordan smirked. "Gyarados, Aqua Tail, break them!"

With a powerful sweep of its tail, Gyarados shattered the rocks mid-air, sending shards flying. The crowd roared in amazement.

"Torterra, Earthquake!"

The battlefield shook violently, the tremors causing Gyarados to momentarily lose balance.

"Time to turn this around," Jordan said. "Gyarados, Hurricane!"

The Alpha Gyarados whipped up a massive cyclone, lifting Torterra off the ground. The immense winds battered the Grass-type, its heavy body crashing down with a thud. Torterra tried to rise, but a final Ice Fang from Gyarados sealed its fate.

"Torterra is unable to battle!"

The crowd was on their feet, cheering wildly.

On the Giant Television Screen – Round Three: Alpha Milotic vs. Victreebel

Sakura sent out Victreebel, its eerie screech cutting through the air.

Jordan called out his next Alpha. "Milotic, let's show them what elegance and power look like!"

The Alpha Milotic emerged, its length dwarfing even Gyarados. Its shimmering scales radiated a prismatic glow, and its presence alone seemed to mesmerize the audience.

"Another Alpha!" the announcer exclaimed. "Jordan is truly one of a kind!"

"Victreebel, use Wrap!" Sakura commanded.

Victreebel extended its vines, attempting to ensnare Milotic, but the Alpha easily broke free with a whip of its tail.

"Milotic, Dragon Pulse!" Jordan countered.

A radiant beam of draconic energy shot forward, slamming into Victreebel and sending it tumbling.

Sakura gritted her teeth. "Victreebel, Solar Beam, now!"

The Grass-type charged its beam, but the sheer size of Milotic allowed it to intercept with another Ice Beam, freezing the Solar Beam in midair before it could connect.

"Finish it with Surf!"

Milotic summoned a towering wave that crashed down on Victreebel, knocking it out. The crowd erupted again, marveling at the power of Jordan's Alphas.

On the Giant Television Screen – Final Round: Infernape vs. Roserade

With three of her Pokémon down, Sakura sent out her ace, Roserade. Its flowers glowed with vibrant energy, and its movements were graceful yet deadly.

Jordan smiled. "Infernape, it's time to finish this!"

Infernape leaped onto the field, its fiery mane flaring. The blue flames flickered ominously, drawing gasps from the crowd.

"This is it, folks!" the announcer said. "Two aces and one of them is burning with blue fire! What a showdown!"

Roserade started with Toxic Spikes, spreading a layer of poison across the field.

"Infernape, clear it with Flamethrower!" Jordan shouted.

The intense blue flames incinerated the spikes instantly, leaving the field clear.

"Roserade, Sludge Bomb!"

Roserade launched a glob of toxic sludge, but Infernape dodged with ease.

"Infernape, Flare Blitz!"

Surging forward like a comet, Infernape crashed into Roserade, its blue flames scorching the field. Roserade retaliated with Giga Drain, attempting to sap Infernape's energy, but the fiery ape resisted.

Jordan's voice rang out. "Go all out! Blast Burn!"

The flames on Infernape's head erupted into a blazing inferno as it unleashed a massive explosion of blue fire, engulfing the battlefield. The intense heat forced the audience to shield their faces.

When the smoke cleared, Roserade lay fainted, and Infernape stood tall, its flames still crackling with power.

"Roserade is unable to battle! The winner is Jordan Smith!"

The crowd erupted into a deafening roar, chanting Jordan's name. Fans marveled at his Alphas, many snapping pictures to commemorate the rare sight.

Sakura approached Jordan with a smile. "You've proven yourself, Jordan. Your Pokémon are not just powerful—they reflect your dedication and bond with them."

"Thanks, Sakura," Jordan replied. "You made me fight harder than ever."

As he stood on the podium, Jordan looked at the roaring crowd and his towering Alphas, knowing this was just the beginning of his journey to the top.

Jordan POV –

The roars of the crowd still echoed in Jordan's mind as he sat alone in the trainers' lounge, staring at the flickering lights of Jubilife City from the large windows. The semifinals had been grueling, but he'd emerged victorious. His hands were still tingling from the adrenaline of the final round against Sakura.

His Infernape's blue flames, burning brighter than ever, were a clear reminder of how far they had come together. His two Alpha Pokémon, Milotic and Gyarados, had stolen the show with their sheer size and power, leaving even seasoned trainers in awe.

But the weight of victory didn't feel like a celebration just yet. Tomorrow, the announcement of his next opponent—the finalist he would face—would bring him closer to his ultimate goal: becoming the Sinnoh League Champion.

Jordan exhaled deeply, his thoughts racing. "I'm so close... but the real battle hasn't even begun."

The Announcement of His Next Opponent

The next morning, the Sinnoh League arena buzzed with excitement as the screen lit up with the bracket. Jordan, along with his team, stood among the other trainers, their eyes fixed on the display.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen," the announcer boomed, "the moment you've all been waiting for—the finalist who will face Jordan Smith in the championship match!"

The screen shifted, showing a rotating image of a young woman with sharp, confident eyes and a bold stance.

"Introducing... Aurora Vega of Snowpoint City!"

The crowd erupted in cheers. Aurora was a rising star, a powerhouse known for her Ice-type Pokémon and her ability to adapt to any opponent's strategy.

Jordan felt a shiver of anticipation as he studied her image. "Ice-types, huh? She's going to make me work for it."

His gaze hardened, and a small smirk played on his lips. "Good. I wouldn't have it any other way."

That evening, Jordan's family invited him to dinner to celebrate his victory and prepare for the final match. The Ketchum and Oak families, close friends of the Smiths, joined the gathering. The warm glow of lanterns lit up the garden of the Pokémon Center, where a long table had been set for the occasion.

"Jordan!" his mother, wearing a proud smile, hugged him tightly. "We're so proud of you!"

His father gave him a firm pat on the back. "You've earned this, son. Keep that focus, and you'll be holding the championship trophy in no time."

Jordan smiled but remained humble. "Thanks, Dad. But Aurora's no pushover. I'll need to be at my best."

Delia Ketchum, her ever-welcoming demeanor brightening the table, chimed in. "You've been working so hard, Jordan. Tonight, you relax and recharge. The battle will come soon enough."

Seated beside her were Ash and Red Ketchum, both leaning forward eagerly.

"Jordan, that battle with Sakura was insane!" Ash said, his voice brimming with excitement. "I've never seen an Infernape's flames turn blue like that. How did you even train it to do that?"

"It wasn't just training," Jordan replied, his voice steady but warm. "Infernape's flames reflect its emotions and determination. That blue fire is a sign of how far it's willing to push itself for our battles."

Red, usually quieter, nodded thoughtfully. "It's amazing to see a bond like that. I hope to have that kind of connection with your team someday Ash and Gary."

Ash/Gary: "Yes Dad/Uncle Red."

Professor Oak, sitting at the head of the table, chuckled. "You boys have your work cut out for you. A journey is as much about understanding your Pokémon as it is about battles. Isn't that right, Jordan?"

Jordan nodded. "Absolutely. The hardest part isn't catching strong Pokémon—it's growing with them. Every step of the journey teaches you something new, about them and yourself."

Ash and Gary Oak, sitting side by side, exchanged glances.

"We've been thinking," Ash started, his voice tinged with excitement. "After seeing battles like yours, Jordan, I'm ready to start my journey. I've been talking to mom and Dad, and I think I am ready to set out soon."

Gary smirked. "And I've got a few plans of my own. The world's too big to stay in Pallet Town forever."

Jordan leaned back, smiling. "That's a big decision. But it's the best one you'll ever make."

Gary raised an eyebrow. "Any advice for rookies like us?"

Jordan thought for a moment. "Don't rush. It's tempting to want to catch every Pokémon you see, but the key is to focus on the bonds you're building. Pick your team carefully, and give each one the time and attention they deserve."

Ash nodded fervently. "Got it. Build bonds first, battles second."

"And don't underestimate the journey itself," Jordan added. "Every region has its lessons to teach. Talk to people, and explore places others might overlook. You'll find some of the best advice and challenges in unexpected corners."

Later in the evening, as the group mingled, Daisy Oak approached Jordan. She wore a bright smile and carried herself with confidence, a testament to her years as a Pokémon Coordinator.

"Jordan, congratulations on the semifinals," she said warmly. "You've made a name for yourself."

"Thanks, Daisy," Jordan replied. "I've heard about your adventures too. How's the coordinator circuit treating you?"

Daisy's eyes lit up. "It's been amazing. I've been competing in contests across Kanto and Johto. It's not just about battles; it's about showcasing the beauty and personality of each Pokémon. It's an entirely different kind of challenge."

Jordan nodded. "That takes a lot of skill. I've seen coordinators turn the tide in battles just by using contest techniques."

Daisy chuckled. "Well, you make it sound easier than it is. But what about you? Have you ever thought of trying a contest?"

Jordan laughed. "Maybe someday. For now, I'm focused on the League."

Before Daisy could respond, Jordan leaned in slightly. "You know, if you're ever in Sinnoh, you should visit Fantina. She's the Hearthome City Gym Leader, but she's also an incredible coordinator. She combines coordination and battle strategies seamlessly. You'd love her style."

Daisy's eyes widened. "Fantina? I've heard of her! That's a great idea. Thanks, Jordan—I'll make sure to visit her."

As the evening wound down, Jordan found himself standing on the balcony overlooking the city. The lights of the Pokémon Center behind him flickered warmly, while the stars above seemed to whisper of the challenges ahead.

His father joined him, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Thinking about the finals?"

"Yeah," Jordan admitted. "Aurora's going to be tough. But I've been preparing for this moment my whole life."

His father smiled. "You're ready. You've got the strength, the strategy, and the heart. Just remember—you're not alone. Your Pokémon believe in you as much as you believe in them."

Jordan nodded, his resolve hardening. "We'll win. Not just for the championship, but for everything we've worked for."

As he turned back inside to join his family and friends, Jordan knew one thing for certain: his journey was just beginning, and the next battle would define everything.
