Back at the Lin residence, the group gathered around the table to study the little fox, which was nervous at the sight of everyone.

After a brief discussion with Lin Wencheng and the others, the group prepared to leave for their patrol.
Before leaving, Wen Qinlin took out a formation disc and activated a pre-set formation that Xia Yunxi had arranged earlier.
A blue barrier rose from all sides, slowly closing in and surrounding the entire Lin Estate.
Wen Qinlin smiled. “This small five element formation can trap even a Foundation Establishment cultivator for at least half an hour.”
“I’ve marked everyone in the estate with an identification seal. They can enter and leave freely, but it’s best if they stay inside for safety.”

With a wave of his hand, a leaf-shaped magic artifact appeared under his feet, carrying the group into the sky as streaks of light.
Lin Wencheng watched his son’s departing figure with a faint smile. “This brat has finally grown up. I thought he’d always be a rascal.”
Li Zhuxuan, however, sighed with melancholy. “But I can’t help but feel empty inside. Frankly, I’d rather he stayed a troublemaker – at least then he wouldn’t be fighting dangerous demons.”

Xia Yunxi eagerly agreed, and the four of them split into two groups and flew off in opposite directions to patrol Ning City.
