John Snow is A Girl

Olivia grimaced thinking about the thousands of concrete powder she had to make non stop over a long period of time. She is sure the work will go on smoothly now that all the veterans have regained their vigor and are now in charge of this project as payment for the herbal soup tonic.

Funny how she is the one who made the tonic but they are paying the lord instead. She did ask to remain hidden so she can't complain. The point is he trust them to ensure there is no foul play with the resources during the process.

The people called bandits have moved out of the North since the small folks are no longer easy prey scattered around the lands in unprotected villages.

Attacking and hoping to rob the apartment buildings is suicide while the housing district where farming families are staying is an important part of any lords lands because they pay the yield so they are well protected by the lord.

The spontaneous raids by the iron born have been prevented before it even reached the people because the housing designs were made with security in mind. Each vulnerable area has a tower for monitoring which was built along with the houses.

The space is large enough to accommodate those on duty. There are concrete walls protecting each housing district and the apartments.

The space was enough to even have many parks with exotic trees planted. Open places for children to play.

The road construction plan would take a few years to complete but because of the warm movable wooden houses she made for the team, they shouldn't suffer too much.

All these are requested to be returned upon completion of the task. Olivia mended wood and hid warm stone inside for the floors after covering the stone with reliable materials.

The weigh is not very heavy which is why it is important to anchor it sufficiently before falling asleep. There has been several incidents where the house on wheels rolls down a cliff because they forgot to anchor it against a powerful tree. 

"Are we sure they are here? For a bunch of cripples they sure move a lot." Anna said. She and Faith now have the identities of long knife master and sharp shooter, respectively.

Olivia needed people who won't become a burden if something bad happens so she made them join in training after she recruited people to fight and work for her. Currently she only has 72 because she let go of anyone below the evaluation of elite. She paid them of course.

Her father has an army what Olivia needs is quality over quantity. Several masters have come in to sharpen her army into people she can trust with important tasks including Anna and Faith.

Each of her people have unique skills that set them apart from the rest. The man they are looking for was a heavy axe fighter. He had won several tourneys against powerful foes, his future seemed very bright but he was suddenly unlucky one day. 

He had the unfortunate encounter with a ruthless group of Lannister soldiers one named the Mountain. The boy called Pete was still inexperienced, his legs got crushed while his arm was yanked off and he was left for dead.

She connected with the plant leaves and controlled them subtly to find the man she is looking for, she finally found him by the damp side sitting on the ground. "Hello. I want you to work for me." She said with only her eyes showing. These large piercing grey eyes are very cold, but for some reason the man felt like they can be trusted.

"I can't work." The man said leaning away from her face which is close to his.

"If I can make you able to work, would you work for me then?" She asked.

"Yes. I would work for the devil herself if she gave me back my body." The man said. He should be young but he looks haggard.

"There is our carriage. We leave tonight." She and her people all rode their horses and left. They didn't carry him and waited for him by the carriage. 

Their group made it back in one day thanks to the fast carriage design and the horses she bred herself.

These horses can travel for many days at a fast speed without requiring a break. They have been fed animal supplements which promote strength, speed and health.

When she entered Winterfell, the guards didn't even bother with checking her carriage knowing she also heals people for free. Now that there are sophisticated towns all over the North she has her people working in small clinics in each town providing medicine for those in need.

Each pill is melted and drank in front of the staff members before checking the person's mouth. The free clinic is for those desperate for medicine. Some have tried to break into her clinic but the store is a fortress.

The glass windows are indestructible, the doors have steer bars which each apartment flat main door have and an exclusive key. Entering without permission is impossible if you don't have a key.

This was suggested by Olivia because when people are put together like in the apartment buildings, bad seeds are bound to sprout.

In her clinic and the other buildings in the town it is the same thing. Not to mention, her medicine is stored inside a heavy safe which will not be opened without a series of keys used in a certain order.

She made these safes in all her clinics and in her tower. She was very happy when she got a formula for a freezing indestructible glass. She opened an Ice business selling it to the south at a high price.

She turned it into boxes that had shelves to store items. The nobles paid high price for it.

Of course the faith condemned the North saying it is magic. But there is just glass that can not be broken and extremely cold air inside.

Orders came one after another. This is why Olivia needed to build several safes to safe guard her money. The income from the beauty pills has never reduced but more customers are coming for it from the rest of the kingdoms including the islands across the narrow seas. 

Currently Olivia has given the regeneration pill to Pete. "You will be uncomfortable for 24 hours but after that I will scan you for any bone fragments left behind on your legs especially. Following that you should be as good as new. Rest for now."

Now that people go to the towns to get treatment, she uses the time to train or make pills. Some of the 72 group of people under her command have been sent out to various kingdoms to settle down as an information network. They are supposed to infiltrate the noble houses and report back anything of note to Olivia. 

The next two days Pete became part of the group. He is very happy running around and swinging his axe. He hasn't been able to to these things in many years.

Olivia is fond of taking hopeless people like this to turn them into her strongest followers. The gratitude from such people makes them very loyal to her. This is what she needs.

When the Kings road is finished the new project will be the improvement of the Winterfell castle. This will probably deplete the funds but it must be done at some point. It will be done slowly to include a plumbing system.

"Your grace, the food tax from the North has increased by three times." Hand of the king reported.

"Do we still not know where they got all the income to suddenly renovate the entire kingdom?" Petyr Baelish asked. He has tried sending letters to Cat but ever since that incident happened she stopped responding.

"If I may add something, my birds have reported something disturbing. The glass they use to make glass houses is said to be indestructible." The eunuch said.

"Indestructible glass this is a game changer." Mummers sounded from everyone.

"Are they making profit from this?" The king and the hand frowned Ned hasn't said anything to them about something like this.

"No my king, they only used it to build house windows, glass houses and the town stores have large indestructible glass doors and windows. They are not selling it since they claim to have bought it from a traveling group of merchants." The spider continues.

"In the past year they have been building the kings road. They are using a substance that turns the ground very hard and after they fix the terrain to look presentable it is said to be very beautiful."

"Where are they getting this substance?"

"The North is keeping all the good things to themselves."

"The Reach is complaining about selling little food. They are hoping the king to persuade the North to buy their food." Lord Arryn reported.

"Hahaha...wasn't it them who sold spoiled food for very high price? The North has been complaining about the same issue for a long time but they thought themselves untouchable and needed." Robert sounded unconcerned.

"If they have so much food, they should donate it to the starving people of Kings landing." The king offered.

No matter how much they try to make him suspect the North, he ends up laughing at them. The king is genuinely friends with Ned or or it seems.

The end of the second year since Olivia regained her memories came, the road construction finally finished. The annoying thing is the request Ned had for his daughter when he saw her glass garden stair case.

The place for the chairs and tables in the garden is a bit high then the rest of the ground where flowers are planted. People have a high view to enjoy the flowers in the garden but there are four steps to climb to reach there and they are made from Olivia's pure wood. It is strong, there are no space to allow moisture inside and most importantly it is very heavy. This wood is very beautiful with an obsidian light shinning from it. 

Ned instructed Olivia to get him such wood to use on both sides of the the road to ensure carriages do not wonder outside the road. At first he wanted her to tell him where she bought it from but she couldn't say because she didn't buy it, she made it and she couldn't tell him this because she was afraid he will hang her at the urging of his magic hating wife. 

Her father is too much of a simp to keep her abilities a secret from his wife who will destroy her with this information if she ever found out about it. She made the wood it is designed like a fence two feet tall curving with the land scape as it goes with the path. The strong men dug wholes, filled them with the concrete solution and placed the heavy wooden fence. This will dissuade anyone from taking the wood away. 

This project lasted for several months but when it was finished it was worth it. Olivia received thousands of gold coins in payment which made up for the annoyance of overtime work she had put in. 

Because under the road there is a worm stone to melt the snow, but is not hot enough to warm the concrete solution and it doesn't cover the entire road just a small part in the middle of the road and she is paid handsomely for that as well. 

Ned Stark has written down all the money he took from his daughter and is paying it back in instalments. Olivia didn't object to this because it was the only way Stark would continue taking money from her. She remembers the conversation that day. 

"You think you can pay tens of thousands with in a decade?" She asked him while reaching for a cookie. The recipe is from the Reach, it is true if you grow enough food you will find a way to eat it. Especially if your biggest customer suddenly doesn't need your supply. 

"Before I couldn't think of a way even after contemplating for a long time but now that you have given this clothing factory business to the family we are making profits, the safe had to be cleaned out of all the spider webs that had grown in there over the years," 

A few months prior, Olivia got a hold of a cloth processing technology from Pentos and constructed the design for the factory in the North. She had wanted to make warm variants of clothing for the North. The fabric deeds and the cotton seeds were coming along nicely so she took it a step further. 

"Should I feel that you are telling me I am not part of your family?" She asked. When he heard her question he became uneasy. She didn't rush him and waited for his answer even as it took several minutes. 

"I know what you want. This is my way of apologizing for not giving it to you." He finally said. He looked at her to reaerate his words but Olivia just looked at him in ridicule. 

"Do you mean legitimacy?" She asked and he agreed. 

"Did you hear nothing from the words I said to you? I hold no sentiments for this family, being called a Stark will not bring me joy Lord Stark. It will make me remember that I am your child, that I share the same blood with the man who stood by the side as I was harmed all those years." 

"If anything being called a Snow is my honor, I am related to hundreds of new born babies, men, woman, girls and boys in the North which is the place that I am proud to belong. I have thousands of siblings which is great that I can contribute to their well being." 

"I help you in building houses because they need homes, I build glass houses because they are hungry, I find new seeds because I want them to taste the wonders of variety. I do all the things I am still going to do for my family, my people who share the same name as me." She looked at him with blazing hot eyes. 

"Stark? You can keep it for your charming family, it is something I can do without." She sneered. 

"Don't overthink it, I only came to you with my resources because you are the lord paramount and I was curious if you care for the well being of the people. Hehe.. lord Stark name please don't bother with such nonsense in the future." Ned didn't know how to feel about these shard piecing words. 

"Had I been treated like a human being in this place maybe I would long for such an identity but all I have in connection with that name is pain. I tried to kill myself once and now that I look back, it is not my fault. Do you know whose fault it is? Yours, I blame everything on you lord Stark." 

Lord Stark is left speechless, he doesn't know if he should rejoice or be saddened by this news. She doesn't give him more time to ponder before she opens a container making the room very hot. 

"Have you develop a heater?" He stood up and watched the item. It is the familiar hot stone but it looks different. 

"I found a material to isolate and preserve the heat from the stone. It can now be adjusted. As you can see this is a cooking stove that can be adjusted. This one is for simple cooking, there are ovens and the heaters you mentioned before but this new material is troublesome to make which makes them a bit pricy." Ned listens and use the gears to adjust the heat, he can see the stone becoming cooler and hotter depending on the adjustments he made. 

"Brilliant!" Lord Stark exclaimed. 

"This will reduce the people who die from cold related sicknesses and those who can not go out to cut wood. I made a less sophisticated version that is only one plate and the heat can not be completely isolated it will leave the room in semi hot state making it run out sooner. It will have to be replaced because it is a poor quality than the ones I put on the road." She explained. 

"This is technology that will save many lives even in a lengthy winter." Ned admitted. 

"I know. I want you to donate these stoves to the poor people living in the apartments. Those too old to go look for woods or the inexperienced to wonder into the forest. Priority should be given to the truly needy so I don't want you to give this task to your vassals. I need you to do it with your own trust worthy people in fact I have a group already that can help you compile a list." 

"Each lord has a list of the residents. I will just request it." Ned said. He felt uncomfortable being given instructions by her like that but he should be used to it by now. 

The stoves were donated and others could still afford to pay for them. The women didn't have to go into the forest where it is not safe and preparing food became simple without the added chore. Nobles placed orders for lavish ovens and some were as long as half a room. The cooking plates are separated so each stone can still be isolated and the heat preserved.

The same items gave rise to the freezing cabinet. This will allow the North to preserve their food supply especially milk and meat. The frost glass became sophisticated and put inside an exquisitely designed wooden cabinet with an isolator that allows the chill to remain with in the frost glass. 

She didn't donate these items and sold them for an exorbitant price. The shops where stoves, frost cabinets and soap is sold is considered a foreign shop that opened in the North and slowly into the rest of the seven kingdom. 

Olivia developed soap and is selling it in the North for now but soon the product will be sold in all the kingdoms and even over seas. It is being sold through merchant groups. 

The shop pays taxes and the same shop is the one providing funds in a form of a loan to the Lord of Winterfell. This is what Oliva suggested to Ned as a way of explaining the sudden development in the North. It will shut the masses up about why his taxes have not become multiplied after gaining wealth. 

This made Ned a little uncomfortable but it is true that he borrowed the funds and needs to pay it back in instalments. After this idea the North broke the silence and informed the crown about the source of the coins used to develop the North to this extent.
