John Snow is A Girl

Chapter 59: Dragon Seed

The air got purer as their little hunting group moved deeper into the forest. Olivia felt her usually tense and alert muscles loosen, a pleasant aura enveloped her as if the forest is welcoming her with open arms. She walked pass many trees hearing their whispers, this helped her know where animals are located in this vast place.

The so called 'strong' people are just normal people who run at the sight of a predator even a small one. Luckily there is one man over 185 centimeters tall but his face is covered with a dark cloth probably not wanting to be recognized for some reason became the leader even though he doesn't say much.

This is the fourth time Olivia is going to hunt with these people. She has been keeping a low profile especially after finding out the 'king' would sometimes make an appearance. After getting a whiff of his blood from a distance she felt he is not her half brother but she still needs to confirm.

She has stayed in this place also because this slow pace life is a change that has caused a shift in the essence of her nature's power. The green plant power had strengthened when she received the blessings from four seasons but after that time, it became stagnant.

Olivia is delighted to feel an increase in her overall power because it will bring her that much closer to godhood, not that she is in a hurry. It is a positive experience to know what would increase her power so she stayed and she is slowly figuring out the ins and out of the sudden increase in strength.

In her city she is surrounded by development which moves away from nature. Here she has to light the fire to eat, hunt for meat and use primitive tools for daily tasks that would normally be taken care of by someone else or she would use a sofisticated tool.

Even though her city is inside a forest, it has been changed and infected with human breath taking away the raw aura of nature in the air, but in this village she is reconnecting with basic form of nature again.

The purer her plant power becomes, the easier it is for her to control the four elements and the stronger she will become. There is a goal for Olivia to one day visit the old Valyria hold. This can only be done if she can ensure her own safety.

Life here has reminded her of the 'gift' of nature to all its inhabitants. The change in her strength is not too obvious but the quality of her power increased many folds cutting down the amount of time she would have spent purifying a plot of land.

If she was feeling charitable she would test her power on the territory below the wall but she is still human and humans are selfish. Her darling father is dead, even when she closes her eyes to convince herself, she can not bring herself to be as generous to the Starks as much as she was in the past.

Her family is the one thing that makes her life feel imperfect. There is an entire kingdom in her name but when it comes to handling her relatives it becomes suffocating for her because even with all her power and wealth, she wants to be loved by the ones related to her by blood.

As a result, even though she knows her power has become purer she is not sure by how much. She spends her time planting the fields inside her space and taking care of the various animals she is keeping in there for meat and other products.

Her space has gone through a series of changes since settling in this town.

She regularly visits the nearby forest under the guise of looking for medicinal herbs, it has brought her closer to nature in a big way. As a result even after finding out Aegon is a fraud she stayed. Currently her small group is about to come across two powerful beasts who are heavily injured.

There was a fierce fight between a fox like creature and a lion. It seems the change in the world energies did not just affect the plants and humans. These two possess a level above normal beast in ferocity and intellect as they turn their bloodied bodies to face the humans simultaneously releasing low growls.

However, after glancing at Olivia amongst the crowd, they turned and dispersed but their group leader instructed them to run after the two animals since they are heavily injured.

This little encounter reminded Olivia to cover body with a thin layer of wind to stop her strong bloodline aura from scaring the animals.

After a lot of chasing, the group managed to subdue the two wounded animals but it didn't take too much effort since they were both bleeding to death. Olivia who is now called 'Molly' didn't participate but started picking up wild vegetables and herbs instead.

No one complained because she is known as a healer in the village. Especially since the meat will belong to the ones who caught it and those animals looked like they will fall dead on their own. The leader looked at her happily picking up what looks like leaves and flowers so deep in the forest. He turned to the rest of the group as they pull the dead animals in a wooden sled made for this reason.

Their pace had been fast after getting the two cats but the leader saw Molly stop and her gaze turned to a place. Too many trees intertwined to see what lays beyond but the leader didn't hesitate to move forward cutting the tree vines to see what lays ahead.

It seems they ran into a family of wild boars and 'Molly' could hear people salivating around her. Even the most cowardly of the men is suddenly full of spirit and ready to bring home some of its meat.

The problem with these animals is their heavy size and unpredictable movements that can sometimes injure people into cripples. This is because they are intelligent animals who will defend themselves when threatened especially if they have young ones around.

But the meat is really good and can last for long after it is dipped in salt. Most of these people grew up eating this type of meat only once a year if they are lucky because of how deep they hide with in the woods.

Olivia spotted a wild boar running full speed her direction. Taking out a clean blade she threw it into the thick head and it crashed in front of her. The leader saw this but didn't pay too much attention as he helped the others. Olivia moved the boar into the sled and took out her knife from its skull.

They didn't watch her for too long because her knife looked shabby when it was pulled out but what they don't know is that it is spelled to look this way. Looking around as the rest of her teammates scramble around the wild and fast animals, they are risking it all because they know how it tastes.

They rushed in and some managed to stab the animal while others tripped and fell, one guy is even run over by the biggest boar hoofs in the group and he screamed in terror. Olivia can not let this one die since it is a blood relative of a friend, sort of.

'What a pair of lungs.' Olivia quickly removed the boar from the guy's back and pulled him aside. She fed him some medicine and looked at the group of flustered men.

"I am taking him back, if he doesn't get help his neck my remain crooked." She is about to lift up the man when a colossal figure stood in her way. The harsh voice of the covered leader came to her ears with clear irritation. Olivia doesn't know she has been used as the animal tracker by this man.

"We came to find food not to play nurse." Olivia felt the hairs at the back of her neck stand when she heard the groggy voice of a ruthless man. She can discern he will not let her leave.

She didn't answer him but lifted her hands as if to surrender but didn't say anything as if waiting for something. The man didn't go down as easily as she is used to but only with one knee and the rest of his upper body remained straight.

Olivia is a master of concealed weapons so of course she wil not let those she wants to save die and follow instructions like a good girl.

Seeing that he is struggling to stand, she moved to the side and carefully pulled the man while using her wind power since it is colorless to keep the position of the neck as it is so the injury doesn't worsen. Everyone is watching with hanging mouths as she pulls the man from the ground.

"What did you give me?" The leader asked feeling dizzy all of a sudden.

"Something to help you sleep, but I was considerate of where we are and only gave you enough to not stand in my way again. It will wear off in a few minutes. Prey something hungry doesn't come for you before that." She sounds completely relaxed even though she just put his life in danger.

"All this for a half cripple?" He asked but Olivia is long gone. She made the bushes denser and fashioned a sled to put the young man in.

Back at the clearing, the rest of the hunters kept trying to run after the animals but their speed and ferocity is not something they can outclass.

A few minutes the man stood up and cut one pig in the face with his sword. He took several steps and stabbed another one that was already running away.

"Pick it up." He turned and left the same direction as 'Molly' without a care but if one looks closer it is easy to see the thick long legs shaking with every step.

Olivia didn't want to come back empty handed and picked several wild vegetables in the forest.

She didn't harvest the immature ones letting them grow and she pulled the sled she didn't worry anymore. When she came out of the forest she came face to face with a group of soldiers and a young man leading the group wearing a glaring Targaryen sigil on his chest.

They stood there while the small folks knelt in fear listening to the young man's speech about making the world safer and making sure there is food for everyone. The sound of a large object being pulled against the ground came from the forest direction and the man giving a speech turned.

He saw 'Molly' pulling a grown man almost two times her size laying down unconscious on this wooden sled with ropes clearly made from vines. She pulled towards the direction of her house but a man with a drawn sworn stood her way.

"You are in the presence of his grace the rightful heir to the ..." The man stood as if he is about to recite a long poem but Olivia wouldn't have it.

"Let me stop you right there. This man will have a serious injury if I don't tend to him. Move aside and let me pass." She said coolly.

The lazy voice makes people want to strangle her. "The king is still addressing the crowd. You will do well to listen and bend your knees." The man's voice has gone a few degrees lower.

The man is about to speak some more when she went passed him but he is not about to let her disrespect him or his king. He thought back handing her into a kneeling position is better than outright killing her.

He took only a few steps before reaching her, his hand is about to smack her silly when she grabbed his arm and yanked it with only a small portion of her strength but the man flew a distance away from her falling face first onto the cold ground.

When 'Molly' as he heard the people exclaim her name in the crowd, grabbed his right hand man by the arm and brought his attack to a holt, it surprised even him.

The people also saw this but Molly yanked Signor's hand and his entire body went flying towards the woods she had just exited. She didn't even glance as the king and continued pulling the unconscious man towards the small gate.

Everyone is stunned speechless there is no sound after Signor smashed onto the ground. The shocking thing is the distance she pulled him with only one hand. She is obviously very strong.

His men rushed to check on his disgraced advisor while he went towards Molly in rushed steps. She opened the gate and pulled the wooden sled but Aegon stepped on it preventing it from moving inside.

"Let me guess, you want me to kneel?" She asked scornfully. He is about to answer when she pulled the sled inside the small gate and then gate shut in his face. Not many saw this exchange because the other group came out of the forest with a lot of meat making everyone happy.

Aegon Targaryen knew this woman is not easily bullied nor will she give him any attention until she is done with that unconscious man. Why does he want to speak to her? He has a woman in his castle who is currently suffering from some sort of illness and he heard she can help since no one else from his own team seems able to heal her.

He heard this 'Molly's name all the way to the castle from the small folk working in the castle.

'Molly' took out a pill before putting it into the man's mouth, then she readjusted his neck with a 'click' she put it back in the right place. Luckily he is passed out from the knock out pain killer she just gave him.

She can feel Aegon's presence still lingering outside which means he wants something from her and will likely not leave her alone before she talks to him. Walking out she made her way towards him.

This man is as tall as her half brother, leaner in physique but his eyes are sharper even as they are a light purple. It is easy to see he is not easy to deal with, but what caught Olivia's attention is the blood in his veins. It is definitely not as Targaryen as Deanerys but he is related to Dany and herself though it is distant.

A very thin family connection but it is there. This disappointed Olivia because she was hoping for another brother. Wouldn't it be amusing if her half brothers butted heads politically? Who would win? Most importantly whose side would she ultimately choose?

In any case she doesn't see any chance of this wild dragon seed winning against her half brother who has everything to lose. Robb is the first king in the north after centuries so he will have to bare a heavy burden. Olivia has no doubt he will defend his home with all his might. Or at least she hopes so.

Signing, she looked at his handsome face, a chiseled jaw and a straight nose with slight distaste in her heart. Someone lied to this man or he is the liar himself who is posing as a dead baby just for fame and glory.

Luckily her expression has been blank since she started walking this direction. The armor worn by this man is black with a red long cloak and a bright red three headed dragon sigil in his chest plate and on the long cloak.

"Have you come to apologize?" He asked her with clear Intent to intimidate. Olivia looks nothing like.

a noble so it would be understandable if the would be king is offended by her dismissal earlier.

"Is that what you desire? An apology from the likes of this peasant?" She has an expression which lacks apprehension for who she is conversing with. Aegon felt like she is not taking him seriously at all. This feeling eked him and he had the urge to subdue her if just to wipe off that flat expression from her face.

"They tell me you have also just recently arrived. Where did you live before?" He asked seeing her not bowing, or lowering herself in any way.

"In the true North." She answered calmly.

"In the true North your grace." One of his men said with aggression but Molly just ignored him. Instead she looked at the so called king and spoke again.

"I came to apologize for being rude earlier a life was at stake and I don't have the best temper. Lets get along." She did a curtsey and turned to leave but Aegon grabbed her arm roughly.

"Are you mocking me? You a mere peasant harmed my man, ignored and ridiculed me, the king of seven kingdoms and now you are asking for forgiveness but you won't kneel and admit your mistake? Are you confusing me with one of your peasant friends?" He is angry, very angry but the ugly girl just pried his hand away from her arm and sighed.

She is thinking 'Do I have to kill him? I was hoping to resolve this without using violence.'

"Are you listening to me?" Aegon shouted garnering the onlookers attention. Olivia decided to end this in a discreet manner, without movement or gesture, she pulled the air from his lungs and blocked him from inhaling air.

Aegon felt the air refuse to enter in lungs no matter what he did. Soon he started feeling pain and doubled over clutching his throat wanting to make it work. For a split second his eyes landed on Olivia who is watching him coolly.

A crazy thought that she might have done this to his struck him but he didn't have much time to ponder as the burning sensation in his chest intensified. The smooth looking pale skin turned bright red as if pasted with tomato juice. It looks agonizing.

She didn't move from her position as the would be king clutched his throat desperation clear on his eyes. Olivia is thinking, 'I could end it all right here and save many people by killing this one pesky insect.' She is referring to the future wars to come because of him. The men had long run over to try and help him.

"Your grace!"

"What is going?" This one turned to Olivia with burning eyes "You did something to the king, cease her!" He commanded. Still angry about being launched face first on a snowy grass it seems.

Olivia let go him breath and Aegon Targaryen greedily sucked in the air but his burning lungs a reminder of what he has just gone through. Seeing him able to breathe they all became relieved Aegon looked to the place Olivia had been standing but didn't find her figure.

He is certain he suffered because of her the only thing he doesn't know is how did she do it? Remembering those stoic eyes he heard his men say "Your grace, lets return."

He is pulled by the worried men as his unfocused eyes searched around the place for that ugly woman. He didn't see her anywhere and just let the men take him away making up his mind to come back and find out if she has magic.
