-Story Start-

-Third Person POV-

With the start of a new dawn, the sun ascended over the horizon, casting its radiant light and warmth across the land.

Appreciative of the sun's kind gesture, a displaced young lady stirred awake in her private sleep quarters.

As the sunlight permeated through the large window, she emitted a groggy utterance, "Cold..."

Situated on the Third Floor of Ranoa's Research Building, at the end of a lengthy hallway and connected to her private research room, the space resembled a chaotic battlefield.

Unorganized piles of clothes lay strewn in every corner, while papers, bowls, pens, scraps, dried foods, and assorted research equipment shared the same disorderly fate, creating a room that could only be characterized as the masterpiece of an outstanding shut-in.

The smell need not be emphasized - But she got used to it and masks the more nasty smell with perfume.

Rising lazily from her disheveled bed, the girl took a deep breath and cautiously navigated the floor, avoiding yesterday's discarded shirt.

And so, the girl's daily routine began once more.

Effortlessly maneuvering through the obstacles that cluttered her brief path to the window, she seemed unperturbed by the chaos surrounding her - A testament to her three-year shut-in status.

Finally reaching the window, she faced the morning sun's piercing rays, which illuminated the breathtaking view of nature blending with the distant Magic City Of Sharia.

As the sun warmed her face, slowly getting her out of a half-asleep state, she indulged in the view before her.

Even as an unusual hybrid of bird and squirrel flew past her window, it failed to diminish the beauty of the scene.

A melancholic expression crossed her face as she spoke to herself with a bittersweet smile, "At least this world has got one thing going for it." Her voice produced vapor in the cold wind.

Indeed, this young lady was Nanahoshi Shizuka.

A 17?-year-old high school student from Japan.

Back in Japan, she personified the standard - Popular, attractive, and academically gifted honor student. She had a family, close friends, and a boyfriend.

She was seemingly destined for a bright future.

However, fate took an unexpected turn when, during a heated argument with her boyfriend in the middle of a road, they were saved from an impending truck collision - Magically transported to the sidewalk, her hand held by... Someone.

The warmth that held her hand firmly was unmistakable.

Much to her current frustration, she was much too stupefied from the near-death experience that she failed to glimpse at who their allegedly magic-wielding savior was.

It was just a moment after, that Nanahoshi found herself, yet again, transported without a chance to comprehend what had occurred.

This time, she didn't appear on another sidewalk.

Oh, no no no!

She landed in another world.

Five years had passed since then, and Nanahoshi Shizuka had transformed into a different person in this new realm.

Her moniker - Silent Seven Stars.

Entrepreneur, Businesswoman, A-Rank in the Magic Guild, wealthy, Summoning Magic Expert, affiliated with one of the Seven Great Powers - The Dragon God Orsted, 3rd Year Special Student in the Ranoa Magic Academy, and more.

In this New World, Silent Seven Stars, or Nanahoshi, enjoyed renown, wealth, glory, and opportunities.

Yet, she remained a social recluse, avoiding people and conversations unless absolutely necessary, her alias speaking for itself.

Now, after relishing the external beauty for a few more moments, Nanahoshi's expression hardened as she accepted the harsh reality once again.

Determined to continue marching forward toward her goal with single-minded devotion and focus - The very reason for her current reclusion as she donned her iconic mask to cover her entire face.

Returning Home - To Japan.

-Scene Change-

Following lunchtime, Nanahoshi sat on the floor of her private research room, her expression completely concentrated on her task.

A room that practically screams this world's equivalent of a "Mad Scientist" with all those scattered papers with magic circles - Thousands upon thousands of theorems, notes, mortar and pestles, Magic Crystals, and... Her unfinished lunch thrown under the table, hidden purposefully.

Nanahoshi continued drawing magic circles on paper in preparation for the experiments she'd be having with her part-time assistant.

Experiments to try and summon A Human from Japan/Earth over here.

Of course, Nanahoshi had no intention of repeating the "Teleport Incident".

A Mana Calamity that enveloped the entire Fittoa Region in the Asura Kingdom - Sending its inhabitants across the world randomly through teleportation.

Without a doubt, a catastrophe of this scale outside of wars had not been seen for centuries.

An event Nanahoshi theorizes occurred due to her arrival.

The result of a human being summoned from another world to this one.

Having traveled around this world, Nanahoshi had seen the damage this event had caused.

She decided to form a solid foundation for her research and go through it meticulously and methodically so such a disaster wouldn't be repeated in her selfish desire to return home.

...She wasn't that insensitive.

As for her part-time assistant...

The sounds of knocking on the rustic door of her research room echoed loudly, "Come in!" Nanahoshi exclaimed, her head lifted slightly as she gazed at the door.

The door opened to reveal her part-time assistant, Rudeus Greyrat, his expression grumpy, "Good Afternoon..." He said in Japanese.

Much to Nanahoshi's pleasure.

Nanahoshi is aware of Rudeus's status as a reincarnated individual.

She, intent on returning to their world relies on his help supplying vast mana to her experiments - His Former Japanese identity and language a small crutch and source of relief to the homesick Nanahoshi.

Rudeus, intent on following Hitogami's advice on researching the Teleportation incident and Summoning Magic as a consequence, seeks to learn from Nanahoshi's expertise.

It was guaranteed that he'd be cured of his ED if he continued on this path!

...Although he already had the cure in sight - He still continued helping Nanahoshi.

Because she was a fellow Japanese, and because he considered her a friend at this point.

There was some pity mixed in there for the poor girl who hated this world and simply wanted to get back home to her loved ones.

Nanahoshi, rather observant that she is, noticed Rudeus's obvious grumpy expression that he did not hide from her at all, he had no reason to.

'Can't have him messing up the experiment with a bad mood.' Nanahoshi thought analytically, covering up the more caring side of her that she buried when she arrived in this world.

"...What's wrong?" Nanahoshi simply questioned, her tone flat as she multitasked drawing the easier part of the magic circle.

Without wasting a moment, Rudeus sat down on a chair and glanced at her work, he stated, "Gojo Satoru is rumored to be making his way here."

At that, Nanahoshi paused.

Through her two years of forming connections and traveling all around the world.

Nanahoshi was also searching for her boyfriend Shinohara Akito and any other hint of a Japanese person in this world.

Here and there, she had heard of Japanese Names or at least ones that were similar.

Prompting and convincing Orsted to follow her whims, she was always disappointed to find an ordinary resident of this world.

This world, much to her dismay, also has similarities in the naming department.

Although rare, they do exist.

Japanese names, American names, Nordic names, and so on...

So, over time and with each new disappointment, Nanahoshi grew jaded and decided to simply start researching a way back and spread her name and personal inventions - Others will have to seek her out instead.

Then, she found Rudeus - Their first rather violent meeting, she had an inkling about his Otherworldly origin.

Their second meeting confirmed her suspicion.

That was all Nanahoshi had in regard to people from her world.

Just Rudeus Greyrat - One that had no intention of going back to Japan.

He was Reincarnated.

She was Transported.

Similar, but fundamentally not the same.

But then, rumors of a man named "Gojo Satoru" reached her ears.

His was a name that spread like wildfire - Yet what struck her was the mixture of attributes that statistically speaking, increased his chances of being a Japanese Person by a lot.

Firstly and obviously - His name.

Secondly and most suspicious - His completely blank record prior to his arrival in the Holy Land Of Swords.

Third and finally - His vagueness regarding his place of origin and overall mystery.

All in all, it seemed very likely that he could very well be another fellow Japanese.

However, there was one fundamental issue.

His rumored abilities - Are a mystery both to this world AND her own world.

The only suspect she has is her alleged magical savior who could also very well be the one who transported her into this morally questionable mess of a world.

Questions and more questions only made Nanahoshi more grounded and realistic.

Regardless, she had to take a look at him herself.

Thankfully, Rudeus gladly took on the role for her and would take an extended leave at the end of the Academic Year and go ahead and check him out for her.

Unfortunately, due to... Personal issues Nanahoshi hadn't pressed because she couldn't allow herself to scare Rudeus away, he rejected the notion of traveling towards the Holy Land Of Swords.

Thus... Nanahoshi was left in a complicated situation - She had to go make contact with Gojo Satoru herself.

A month's travel away in the harsh cold lands teeming with monsters further northwest.

She can't fight.

Hiring adventurers is scary and she doesn't trust anyone.

And... She has no friends that can help her that she trusts besides Rudeus.

An issue that her only idea is that once the Academic Year is over - She'll call for Orsted and convince him to help her travel over there.

With him, a safe trip is guaranteed.

She can play on that man's voracious curiosity with unfamiliar things.

Now, though... She has no reason to go through all that trouble - Gojo Satoru is making his way here.

She muttered with a slight hopeful and expectant edge in her tone, "That's great news."

Rudeus deadpanned pointing at her, "Great news for you."

A small smile behind her mask as she got up, grabbing her papers, she gestured to Rudeus to follow her to the experiment room, "Get up, you have a lot more to do today."

Rudeus got up, humming as he was slightly surprised, 'That's the second time I've ever heard her being this happy.' He noted the particularly pleased tone beneath her mask.

And so...

The experiments and daily routines continued for days, as Gojo Satoru's much-anticipated arrival came closer and closer.

Would Gojo Satoru prove to be another pleasant surprise?

Or just yet another cruel and bitter disappointment?

What is for certain?

Knowing Gojo Satoru - The results are always nonstandard.

To Be Continued!

-Author Note Start-

Well, well.

How are ya doing people!

Hope this final interlude has been to your enjoyment and stuff and the quality is the same as always or better and stuff.

As you can see - Nanahoshi is pessimistic, but ya know, girl can hope that Gojo is Japanese (Spoiler - He is).

Nanahoshi hadn't caught sight of Gojo when he saved her back then from the truck (Life and death situation, she was shocked and awed and stuff).

As for her more physical issues - Like not aging, hair growing longer, etc... That'll be explained by her later (You can probably guess to whom she'll be monologuing)

As always! if there is any issue, mistake or even SHUDDERS a plot hole, inform me! I'll fix that shiet (Or salvage whatever plot hole I made - Hopefully my track record stays at a 0 or a 1 at most :P)

There is no Gojo right now - So I'll need your opinions on the Canon Characters' portrayal so far - Nanahoshi specifically :P

Have a nice day!
