Izumi Miyamura: Xover

After the morning light training, the four of us had breakfast, this time I made breakfast for Azula, which she ate with gusto and quickly. Azula thrived and preened herself with envious and deathly glares from the rest of the girls in the dorm.

Classes were… normal, the first half of the day were mundane enough classes to confuse you that we were actually in a school for heroes and hunters, but after noon….

"IT'S ME!!" All Might shouted as he burst through the door. "USING THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!" He snorted in amusement as he ignored the commotion his entrance had generated.

"...LET'S GET RIGHT TO THIS!! THE COMBAT TEST!! " my attention turned back to All Might as he pressed a button on the device in his hand and the walls opened again.

"WE HAVE PREPARED THE EQUIPMENT ACCORDING TO THE REQUEST YOU SENT TO MATCH YOUR SKILLS!" the hubbub began once again "GET CHANGE AND GET READY FOR IT! EVERYONE GO TO COURT B! "

"THE CLOTHES YOU WEAR ON THE BATTLEFIELD ARE OF VITAL IMPORTANCE, GIRLS! AND BOYS! "

"AND DON'T FORGET! FROM NOW ON, YOU ARE OFFICIALLY... HEROES!!! "

Okay, he was good, really good with people, I give him extra points for all the theatrics, all the students were practically vibrating in their seats before explosively throwing their suitcases with their outfits at him, I walked over with mine and quickly left the class to go change in the room Aizawa had shown Izuku and me earlier, oddly enough, Midoriya quickly followed me, he was really excited about that too.

"Hey, Midoriya" I called to Midoriya as I finished getting dressed, who practically tripped while standing still as he put on his hero clothes.

"Y-yeah!? Miyamura?!" He stuttered and snorted playfully, it seems that there are things that have changed, but many that have not.

"Why do you use your quirk like that?" I asked feigning ignorance, I could push him in the right direction, sooner or later he'll figure it out on his own, but I don't see why he couldn't do it now, Midoriya tilted his head in confusion "You use your quirk like... like finishing moves"

"I-I don't understand" Midoriya said confused.

"Your quirk looks similar to All Might's" I saw Midoriya flinch and I could almost feel the panic rising up through his entire body, subtle Midoriya, subtle "but he's always super strong, super fast, super durable, don't you see him activating and deactivating his quirk every time he throws a punch, whatever his quirk is, you on the other hand, seem to just direct it to whatever part of your body needs it instead of… letting it flow through your entire body all the time" I could see Midoriya go completely blank with his eyes wide open, I could almost see his mind start to work overtime, I smiled as I shrugged, I quickly tied my hair with a hair tie and looked at myself in the mirror.

After much consideration, I had settled on Yoriichi's attire, full kimono, red haori as a jacket over a pale orange nagagi and a really baggy black hakama style pants, I liked my mobility and didn't want to be restricted in movement.

I had a pair of extremely sturdy wooden sandals and white tabi socks. And my three swords on the left side of my hip, Emma, Wado Ichimonji, and Sendai Kitetsu. I didn't really need four swords so Yubashiri was still in my room.

All of the clothes had been woven by Taylor's bugs, so they were extremely light to wear, even with the several layers of clothing she had on, and stupidly sturdy, the sewing classes had come in handy quite a bit, so they looked like they were professionally made.

I had thought about using the hanafuda earrings, but I didn't see the need for them, I just took off my glasses and tied my hair up.

"You need to finish getting dressed or you'll be late." I reminded Midoriya as I walked out of the room, he had still been frozen in place, once I walked out I could hear the sound of Midoriya quickly getting dressed.

I wasn't the first to finish dressing, obviously, the various layers of clothing took time to put on and the little chat with Midoriya stopped me for a few seconds as there were already people waiting at the gate of the fake city.

"Izumi!" I was approached by Ruby "you look amazing!" she exclaimed as she looked me up and down while biting her lip lightly.

"You don't look bad either Ruby." I congratulated her with a smile, she was wearing an outfit I knew, her 'canon' Atlas outfit, what surprised me was that she was actually wearing a red cape, I had wondered if it existed in this world.

"Do you really think so?" Ruby asked timidly. "The cape was a gift from my mom, isn't it too much?" She asked unsure, I smiled and shook my head.

"It suits you, it seems appropriate for you for some reason," I told her honestly, she smiled widely.

"Izumi." Azula intervened from the side, before stopping and looking at my face incredulously "why the hell do you normally wear glasses and your hair down?" she asked incredulously, I smirked at her.

"Exactly because of your reaction." I said amused, she rolled her eyes.

"You look good, it's traditional attire right?" Azula asked as she looked at my outfit, I nodded in her direction Azula was dressed in what looked like her full canonical military uniform .

"You too, military uniform? I must say, it's quite attractive," I purred in her direction, and I wasn't lying, it suited her extraordinarily well, Azula was surprised for a few seconds as if she didn't understand the flirtation, and her cheeks blushed slightly, she straightened up more than she already was.

"W-what's the suit made of, I don't recognize the material" Azula said changing the subject while touching my sleeve avoiding touching me.

"Black widow silk." Taylor suddenly interrupted from the side, Taylor was also wearing her canonical costume, after a few slight changes it was still completely black, with plates made out of insect shells, exoskeletons, and spider silk, they were ridiculously sturdy, she had Shusui tied around her left waist, it seemed slightly out of place with the scary insect theme Taylor had with her costume, but she seemed comfortable in it, the only noticeable difference besides her hair which was still in a long braid, was that her mask was now a black half mask that covered her jaw, mouth, and nose.

She had decided to wear contact lenses in her eyes, glasses were a hindrance, a risk, and a distraction in a fight, so she would be safer with contact lenses, although she also carried spare contact lenses and a pair of magnifying sports glasses that were firmly attached to an elastic strap to keep them in place in case she didn't have time to put in other contact lenses.

"Black widow?" Azula asked in surprise, a cluster of black widow spiders emerged from Taylor's hair, there was a small twitch in her mouth but otherwise she didn't react.

"Her web is capable of forming silk, it is stronger than high-strength steel, stronger than Kevlar, very resistant to cuts and stabbing, it is light, almost waterproof and flexible, among other things." Taylor explained honestly, both Azula and Ruby whistled in impression.

"Okay, that sounds amazing," Azula admitted.

"For the most part, spider silk is still stretchy, so despite being stupidly durable, it doesn't provide as much protection as one would assume." Taylor clarified. I could feel her grimace behind her mask. "That's why I have plates on various vital points." Taylor pointed out as she looked at me critically. "Izumi decided she didn't want any." I rolled my eyes amused.

"I need it to remain light, plus we have aura" I replied with a shrug, besides, I was confident in my skills, in the aura and my armor haki, if something were to harm me, some plates really wouldn't be able to stop the incoming blow, and despite me helping Taylor make her costume and her insistence on the plates, I hadn't been able to get her to put more protection on her neck.

In the canyon it was one of the few places where she had no protection, and it was where she was most often hit to incapacitate her, so I made sure that I never left her neck unprotected.

"still sounds great! can i have some?" Ruby asked excitedly, Taylor paused for a few seconds and nodded "and by the way! Your costume looks scary! " I love it!! " Ruby squealed.

"And you look adorable," Taylor laughed playfully at Ruby, who puffed out her cheeks slightly.

"OK, KIDS! LET'S SEE WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF! IT'S TIME FOR BATTLE REHEARSAL!! " All Might's shout interrupted us and we all turned to look at him.

"THIS WILL BE AN INDOOR BATTLE REHEARSAL! VILLAIN NEUTRALIZATION IS USUALLY SEEN OUTDOORS, BUT… STATISTICALLY, MOST OF THEM ARE INDOORS. IMPRISONMENT, HOUSE FOR PRISON, BLACK MARKET. IN THIS SOCIETY SATURATED WITH HEROES AND HUNTERS, ANY INTELLIGENT VILLAIN, LURKS FROM THE SHADOWS! "

" All Might interrupted as he took out a small paper with notes on it, he snorted amusedly, the test was exactly the same as canon, villains, nuclear weapon, protect it from the heroes, the villains win once the time runs out or when they defeat the heroes, on the other hand the heroes won by capturing the villains or reaching the weapon.

"YOUR TEAMMATES AND OPPONENTS WILL BE CHOSEN... BY LOTTERY!" All Might added as he took out a small box " AS AN EXTRA FACT, BEING S CLASSES, TAYLOR HEBERT, IZUMI MIYAMURA AND IZUKU MIDORIYA, CANNOT BE ON THE SAME TEAM EVEN IF THEY ARE DRAWN IN THE LOTTERY, THEY WILL DRAW ANOTHER NAME!" THEIR CONFRONTATIONS CAN BE ANYONE… NOW, WHO COMES FIRST!? "
