Chapter: 14
Chapter 14: Crazy Su Xiaoyu
As soon as Wang Ran entered the tent, he saw a pale face rushing towards him, mouth agape.
It was Lin Momo!
She had really turned into a zombie.
Wang Ran hugged Lin Momo and let her bite his shoulder.
Half a minute later, Lin Momo quieted down. Her gray-white pupils gradually turned black. It seemed she had regained consciousness smoothly.
“Ah! Your shoulder! Does it hurt?” Lin Momo asked, feeling sad when she saw the wound.
Although her memory after turning into a zombie was fuzzy, she knew she had bitten him.
“Don’t worry, I’ve been bitten so many times today, it’s nothing,” Wang Ran shrugged, causing his shoulder to bleed more.
“Ah! It can’t be wasted!” Lin Momo immediately licked the blood dripping from Wang Ran’s shoulder, looking satisfied.
Wang Ran was stunned. It seemed Lin Momo’s current state was exactly like Su Xiaoyu’s—they were both so full of energy! It wasn’t just Su Xiaoyu; cured zombies were like this!
Wang Ran shook his head, looking a bit depressed. Fortunately, his physique had evolved; otherwise, he wouldn’t survive long with two female zombies around.
“Master, are you done?” Su Xiaoyu poked her head into the tent. Seeing Lin Momo’s current appearance, she knew they had another kind of person.
“Sister Momo, don’t be afraid. It’s actually good to be a zombie. You’ll get used to it gradually,” Su Xiaoyu said, taking Lin Momo’s hand.
“I’m not afraid! Staying by the master’s side, I feel very safe!” Lin Momo replied, tilting her head.
“Sister Momo, I’ll teach you some tricks. Master, go out first!” Su Xiaoyu pushed Wang Ran out of the tent.
“I can’t hear any secrets,” Wang Ran smiled helplessly.
As soon as he walked out, Wang Ran saw three people with weapons approaching—Tang Dahai, Liu Qiang in a wheelchair, and a middle-aged woman. They were originally aggressive, but seeing Wang Ran intact, they hesitated.
“You… weren’t you bitten by a zombie? Why is there nothing wrong?” Tang Dahai asked, trembling, holding a nail gun—the only long-range weapon in the supermarket.
“Manager Tang, what are you afraid of? We have guns!” Liu Qiang endured the pain in his leg, shaking the nail gun.
“Exactly… What are we afraid of with guns?” Tang Dahai wiped the sweat from his forehead, feeling more confident. They had nail guns, which could kill at short distances.
“Master, what’s wrong?” Su Xiaoyu and Lin Momo, hearing the commotion, came out of the tent. Seeing Su Xiaoyu, Tang Dahai showed a greedy expression but knew he couldn’t control such a woman. He planned to kill them all while Wang Ran was bitten. Who knew Wang Ran would be fine?
“You! If you don’t want your master to die, just… take off your clothes and show us a dance!” Tang Dahai said with a wicked smile.
“Yes! Quickly take off your clothes!” Liu Qiang licked his tongue, still angry about his leg.
Su Xiaoyu frowned and glanced at Wang Ran. Threatened? What to do?
“Xiaoyu, don’t worry. A mere nail gun can’t kill me. Just kill them. Leave the Mediterranean guy half-alive; I have questions for him,” Wang Ran said lightly.
“You! You wanna die!” Liu Qiang panicked, remembering Su Xiaoyu’s strength. His trembling hand pressed the trigger, shooting spikes at Wang Ran.
“Puff” The aim was off, and a spike nailed Wang Ran’s arm.
“How dare you hurt the master!” Su Xiaoyu’s pupils turned gray, her nails growing. “Roar!!” She turned into a beast, rushing at Liu Qiang.
“Pfft…” Su Xiaoyu’s paw pierced Liu Qiang’s chest, grabbing his heart. “Puff!” She squeezed, crushing it. Liu Qiang looked down at the blood hole in his chest, then tilted his head and died.
“Ah!! Killed!!” Li Meili, terrified, dropped the nail gun and ran. But she couldn’t escape a mad mutant zombie. Su Xiaoyu jumped, landing on Li Meili’s shoulder. Her claw stabbed, pulled… A human head flew to the ceiling, blood spurting like a fountain.
After killing Li Meili, Su Xiaoyu turned to Tang Dahai. “Help!” Tang Dahai collapsed, a stream of heat flowing from between his legs. Su Xiaoyu’s paw poked at his forehead.
“Xiaoyu, stay alive!” Wang Ran reminded. Su Xiaoyu’s nails stopped centimeters from Tang Dahai’s eyes, her pupils returning to black.
“Master, I lost control a bit,” Su Xiaoyu said, sticking out her tongue, looking cute again. But to Tang Dahai, she was a devil, more terrifying than zombies!
“You, tell me where the key to the cold storage is,” Wang Ran demanded, pulling the nail from his arm, looking down at Tang Dahai.
“If I tell you… will you let me live?” Tang Dahai asked, trembling.
“No, you’ll die either way. But if you tell me, it’ll be easier,” Wang Ran smiled kindly.
