It Seems That the Demon King Is Among the Members of the Hero’s Party

chapter 26

26. Takeshi’s Women

Honestly, I don’t understand Takeshi-san at all.

I know he’s a reincarnator like me, Mirabel, and was the previous master of Durandal. He was a member of the brave party, fighting alongside the 4th brave, Lloyd Felgrant, against the demon king.

He called himself “Dynamic Deb” and left behind ridiculous remarks like “accumulated fatigue is good for dieting”.

He was involved in multiple relationships with women, causing a ruckus, and even got stabbed. He said he couldn’t resist because he wasn’t popular before reincarnation.

In short, he’s a weird person. His values as a reincarnator are quite distorted in this world, and he’s not the type of person I’ve met before.

“Durandal, was Takeshi-san a member of the brave party?”

“Yes, he was. The previous master was one of the members. He joined at the very end, though.”

“Weren’t you with him from the beginning?”

“No. Brave Lloyd came to the Elven country ‘Telma’ seeking information about the demon king, and that’s when he joined.”

So Takeshi-san wasn’t one of the initial members. I know he was investigating demonkind in the Elven country.

That means Brave Lloyd must have contacted Takeshi-san to gather information about the demon king!

“Did Brave Lloyd join the party after hearing about the demon king from Takeshi-san?”

“No, at that time, he was in a physical relationship with a female mage who was already a member of the brave party, and she asked him to join.”

Takeshi! I knew you were a womanizer, but even the reason you joined the party was because of a woman!?

“Sorry. I don’t mean to disparage, but wasn’t Takeshi-san’s joining the party opposed by anyone?”

“No, the previous master was already famous as ‘Dynamic Deb’, so Brave Lloyd welcomed him. It seems there were many women around him as well.”

He was famous as “Dynamic Deb”? I thought Takeshi-san called himself that.

So he wanted to be called “Dynamic Deb” for some reason. I don’t know why, but I’d dislike being called that.

Brave Lloyd must have felt anxious being surrounded by only women in the party, so he was happy when Takeshi-san joined and the number of male companions increased.

Brave Lloyd and Takeshi-san are both good at creating harems. For some reason, I feel like a giant boomerang is flying towards me, but I’ll just ignore it.

“What kind of women was Takeshi-san involved with? I heard one of them was a member of the brave party.”

“You’re interested? You’re really interested?”

Durandal seems to be saying it’s none of my business, but it’s annoyingly intriguing.

Although he’s been complaining, it seems he’s fond of Takeshi-san’s story. Does he want to brag about it? It’s not something to be proud of, though.

“It seems to have developed into a chaotic situation, so I want to hear about it as a reference. I might be able to learn something.”

I heard it turned into a huge battle, but one of them was a member of the brave party, right? If so, wouldn’t the mage have won?

I’m the only one chosen to be in the Brave Party, even though I’m rotten to the core. A normal person wouldn’t stand a chance against us, no matter how hard they tried.

In my case, being a party member means my strength is off the charts. If we were to engage in an all-out battle, there would be casualties. I’d probably be the one to die.

“Master has already received favors from three people, so be careful.”

“I know. I’m trying to be mindful.”

“Don’t get too worked up about it, and don’t say anything.”

That’s what’s important.

“So, about the woman who had a relationship with the previous Master… If you just give me her title, I’ll understand.”

“Got it.”

If I know her title, I can guess what kind of woman she was. I’m not really interested in Takeshi-san’s preferences, to be honest.

“I’ll tell you. The Brave Party’s mage, the Brave Party’s dragon knight, the Brave Party’s thief, the Four Heavenly Kings, and the Elven princess – five women in total. Which one catches your eye?”

Which one catches my eye? No way.

I’m sure of it. Durandal was trying to get a reaction out of me. They were enjoying my response. If someone else were to hear this lineup, I’d probably react the same way.

“I have a lot of questions, but I’ll ask them one by one.

I know about the mage. Why is the number increasing?

Were they originally in a relationship?”

“I’ll answer that. The previous Master and the mage had a physical relationship, but the other two were first encounters.”

“First encounters?”

“Yes. The Master was initially hesitant to join, but since they were known for being a ‘movable fatty,’ they reluctantly accepted.”

“Weren’t the Brave Party’s Lloyd and the mage the only ones who welcomed him?”

“That’s right. The previous Master’s charm lay in unseen places. As we spent time together, I realized that the dragon knight and thief were attracted to the previous Master. Since they couldn’t resist, they ended up in a physical relationship, and the previous Master was happy about it.”

Takeshi, you’re really sloppy with women. Is it a ‘come one, come all’ policy? That’s going to be a mess.

Or rather, was the Brave Party’s reputation as a ‘movable fatty’ so well-known that they were hesitant to accept him? How did you manage to achieve that, Takeshi?

I thought the mage was the only one who wasn’t part of Lloyd’s harem, but I was wrong.

“I thought everyone except the mage was part of Lloyd’s harem.”

“You thought they were part of Lloyd’s harem? Master is also interested in that!”

Durandal, you’re enjoying this, aren’t you?

“Isn’t everyone except Lloyd a woman? And if you look at Lloyd’s statue, it’s clear he’s a beautiful young man. That’s just how it is.”

“It’s understandable that Master would think that way!

There’s a reason why that’s the case.”

“Tell me.”

“Lloyd was already in a relationship with a childhood friend, a girl who was also a priestess in the same Brave Party.

That’s why he felt uncomfortable being surrounded by women.”

That’s why Lloyd was happy about Takeshi’s joining. His lover’s gaze must have been painful.

He probably also wanted a male companion.

That’s fine, I suppose.

“Did you have a relationship with the princess as well?”

“Yes. The previous Master stayed in Telma for a long time, so…

When a ferocious monster attacked Telma, the previous Master defeated it and contributed to Telma’s development. Moreover, they were a user of the ‘Holy’ attribute.

The Elves also admired them.”

So Takeshi-san could use the Holy attribute. That makes sense.

The Elves highly value sacred attributes. They would even abandon a child if it didn’t possess a sacred attribute. I wouldn’t be welcome in Telma, and I doubt they would allow me to stay for long. After all, they have a strong sense of elitism.

If Takashi-san could use sacred attributes, he would have been welcomed as well. And if he had actual abilities, that would be even more so.

“How did you meet the princess?”

“No matter how skilled you are with sacred attributes, the other party is royalty. It’s not like you can just meet them easily.”

“The princess was very curious. She even came to visit because the previous master was different, and she was interested.”

“Different?”

“Well, the previous master had a unique nickname, way of speaking, and dress sense, which made them stand out. If only they had worn more decent clothes…”

Durandal muttered, and I wondered what kind of clothes would be attention-grabbing. I’m curious, but I’m afraid to ask, so I’ll let it slide.

In short, there was a strange human in Telma, and they went to meet the princess, became friends, and developed a relationship. That’s how it went, I suppose. And that’s okay, considering they’re royalty.

I let it slide. I’ll ask about this later.

There’s another thing I can’t ignore.

“Who are the Four Heavenly Kings? Are they people with such titles in the country?”

“Master knows, they’re the Four Heavenly Kings of the demon tribe.”

“…………”

“They had a physical relationship with Silvy Empire, the ‘Undead Queen’.”

Seriously, what’s going on, Takashi? You’re unbelievable!
