…My overall power is 15, huh. As expected, I’m a mob character, Ishiru Shouma. The smell of being an outlier is strong just from looking at my status values.

By the way, at level 1, the average overall power of main characters is around 30. 15 is quite low, especially with a physical strength of 2. I wouldn’t even be able to take down a slime, the weakest of monsters, with one hit.

My personal skills are… maybe these are based on my original self? There are items that resonate with me, like insomnia and aggravation habit, lined up in a row.

The stars next to each skill indicate the skill level. The three stars next to insomnia mean it’s at the highest level. I’m not sure if I should be happy about that.

Let me read the explanations as well.

○ Insomnia ★★★

[Immune to debuffs caused by sleep deprivation. Effect lasts for 24 hours per star level, and sleep quality worsens.]

○ Aggravation Habit ★☆☆

[Critical hit rate varies during attacks. Effect changes by ±10% per star level, and critical hits become more likely.]

○ Dull Sense ★★★

[Mental manipulation is probabilistically nullified, and pain-induced fear is reduced. Effect increases by 20% per star level, and I become more insensitive.]

These skills are on a fine line, but they’re not entirely useless, are they? The insomnia skill might actually be useful in the world of “Legasion” that has become a reality.

The aggravation habit is a critical hit variation system. It’s a relatively common skill, but it’s helpful that it doesn’t affect defense. If I were to receive a critical hit from an enemy at level 1, I’d be done for… but since it only affects attacks, I can still find ways to use it.

Dull sense is… this is strong. Is it essentially a demerit-free skill? The skill level is already maxed out, and it matches my style. The 60% effect might be enough, and I can further reinforce it with accessories to reach 100% nullification.

――Now, let’s take a look at my passive skills.

Unlike command skills, passive skills are convenient skills that activate constantly without any usage limits.

I acquired three passive skills this time.

○ Solo Action ★★★

[All status values increase when solo, and decrease when in a party. Effect changes by ±10% per star level.]

○ Experience Value Efficiency ★☆☆

[Acquired experience value increases. Effect increases by 10% per star level.]

○ Toughness ★☆☆

[Less prone to fatigue. Effect increases per star level.]

Solo action is strong. In fact, my character in “Legasion” also had this skill. When I’m in a party, it becomes a debuff, but since I’ve only played solo, the benefits were significant.

Experience value efficiency… this is a bit iffy. A 10% increase isn’t that impressive, but it’s better than nothing, I suppose.

Toughness is a stamina increase skill in games. When I use dash or emergency evasion, it consumes the stamina gauge, but with this skill, the decrease in stamina is reduced. If this effect becomes a reality, it’ll be a big help.

“Has everyone finished checking? Once you’re done, take out the portal device in your bag and turn it on. Then, start the user’s app.”

“Portal device… ah, I had one!”

“I have a explorer registration, but should I proceed with this? My name is… ah, it’s already set from the beginning…”

“Scan the appraisal paper with the camera, and it won’t react as if it’s someone else’s?”

The students operated their magical crystal terminals (portals) according to the teacher’s instructions, each doing their own thing.

But this… is way too much like a smartphone.

It’s easy to use, so it’s helpful, but you can enter your own information as an explorer on the app. The status values are input by scanning the appraisal paper, and it seems to reference your real name, which is already registered, so you can’t cheat.

Inside the app, there’s an intranet that students can access freely, with a BBS where students can chat and exchange information. It’s bustling with activity, with people recruiting for PTs and exchanging items.

The main thing that catches your eye is the explorer ranking, which shows the current level and clearance of ABYSS. The top-ranked explorers are popular, and some even have their own fan threads on the bulletin board.

“Students who have finished registering as explorers, please open the 1-D student roster. Once everyone is ready, we’ll proceed with self-introductions in order.”

“Ugh…!”

I let out an involuntary groan. Self-introductions in front of everyone are a huge hurdle for people with social anxiety…

“Then, let’s proceed with self-introductions in the order of the class roster. First up is…”

“Wait, did I make it in time?!”

The door to the classroom bursts open, and a boy with a crew cut rushes in, out of breath, and takes his seat next to Ōtori Kureha.

That guy… ah, yes. He’s the main protagonist of Class D…

In the main story of Legacion Sense, there’s a core character in each class who isn’t the player character. The player builds friendships, cooperates, and supports these characters to progress through the story.

“Aiba Sōji… Unfortunately, you’re late. You’re completely tardy. Please confirm your status with the appraisal paper.”

“Yes, sorry…”

Aiba Sōji, also known as the Conquest King, receives the appraisal paper from Kageyama with a dejected expression. The classroom erupts in laughter, but it’s quickly suppressed when Kageyama clears his throat.

Aiba Sōji, with his exceptional brightness and talent, is a man who charms the female characters around him. He’s extremely kind and helped an old lady on his way here, which is why he’s late. His initial status value is 50, which puts him in the top 5 among all characters in Legacion.

I realized I had become Ishiru Shōma! No, I didn’t acknowledge this situation, but if I could, I would have wanted to become Aiba Sōji…

Ugh, I’m so frustrated! I’m crying blood on the inside.

Once Aiba Sōji finishes registering as an explorer, the self-introductions resume. As the top-ranked explorer, Aiba is displayed as number one, and he charms the people around him during his introduction.

“Number two, Kanzaki Ayumu…”

“Number three, Shinonome Kanon. Nice to meet you!”

A cool, silver-haired ikemen and a gentle, ribbon-wearing girl introduce themselves. They’re also main characters in 1-D. Their positions are probably Aiba’s best friend and the healing heroine.

“Number four, Ōtori Kureha. Nice to meet you…”

Ōtori Kureha gives a slightly embarrassed self-introduction. In the game, the top four, including her, become Aiba Sōji’s initial PT.

The attackers are Kureha and Kanzaki.

Aiba is the tank.

Shinonome is the healer.

The formation is set.

“Next, number 25!”

As we go on, it’s finally my turn. I’m the lowest-ranked student in 1-D, with the lowest overall power. I’m a complete nobody…

“Ha ha ha, yes! Number 25! Ishiru Shōma, deshujin!”

— I messed up.

— Big time.

Is it because of my bad habit of getting nervous? … Yeah, I have to blame something, or I wouldn’t be able to bear the painful silence that’s taken over the room.

I want to die…

That’s what I thought at that moment.

“Hahaha, what is this guy?!?”

“Eat too much, didn’t you?!”

“Is being the lowest in 1-D… the lowest in the entire school year!?”

“It’s too low…”

“You’re famous from the first day of school, aren’t you?”

“Does that mean you’re different from Akiha in a different way?”

“Hahahahahahaha!!”

The students’ laughter, which had burst forth like a flood, continued even after the teacher’s warning.

“Ah, I’m in hell…”

I looked at Akane, hoping for help, but she was already pretending to be someone else… I was about to ruin my school life at the academy.
